  Best analysis ever

I was looking for Neil Postman's discussion of media mind control, and found a BEAUTIFUL essay in an unlikely context: A blog on Jazz!

The core point:
Do we need multiple angles and resolutions for a simple interview? Do we need a montage of shots held for less than a second each to introduce a program? Is it possible for any Hollywood suit to approve of a movie trailer that doesn’t end in an orgasm of glimpses? This fragmented presentation is no more an example of style (in any meaningful sense) than smashing a guitar to bits against a howling amplifier is an example of “controlled feedback.” The attempt to communicate via the mind is abandoned for an indulgent assault on the recipient’s senses.

MTV has cultivated its own audio-visual language, with snippets of songs and disconnected video clips being the main tissue of the channel’s reality-oriented shows. Nothing is developed in linear fashion (although it may be edited to give such an impression); no mood is sustained for longer than a few seconds; and Nononono / Time / isallowedfor Re-FLEC/tion or ac.tive. thoughtproc-esses. It’s entertainment for the mentally impaired. (And this same channel presumes to tell people how to vote.)

My question is what the cut-up sensibility (oxymoron) will do, in the long run, to how people receive and process information. I suppose the long run will tell. In the meantime, I’m convinced that jumpy presentation is one way to make the viewer believe in information that isn’t there.
The verbal illustration of ASYNCHRONOUS TIME is brilliant and concise. You can hear the same tricks in the output of professional talkers like Rush and Beck.

I've been focusing lately on star beacons and clock-like mechanisms in an effort to pray a counterforce against asynchrony.

  Random auto question

Why didn't Ford take over the Muntz Jet?

Rereading old auto mags as usual, I was struck by the Fordness of the Jet. It used a Ford flathead engine, and it looked exactly like the sporty version of a '49 Mercury.

Muntz produced the Jet in low quantities from 1950 to 1954, but he didn't have the capital to streamline production. He couldn't sell it for a high enough price to cover the hand labor in his small factory. After losing $400K of his own money, he gave up.

As part of Ford, the loss per unit could have been amortized as a halo car, and Ford engineers could have improved production methods.

Chrysler, not known for brilliant marketing, nevertheless made a smarter decision in this department. Chrysler worked with Ghia to turn out a low-volume sports car based on one of Ghia's concept cars. The Dual-Ghia later spawned the Facel Vega, still using Chrysler hemis. These weren't strictly in-house, but Chrysler's cooperation and advertising helped.

The Jet could have been sold as a Mercury sportster without any styling change.

  One little connection

The Lewis hagiography of God Mecher didn't answer most of the important questions. I just realized that it did answer ONE of my incidental questions.

Before all the lockdowns and ballgags started, the VA hospital in this neighborhood was supposedly "treating" several "patients" with the "virus". Later I wondered why the VA hospital was selected as an infection center. One thing I knew for sure: if the "virus" was as infectious as the monsters told us, everyone in this neighborhood would be dead. The selection of the VA also argued against the China connection.

The book gives the simple answer. Mecher had moved around government "bioterror" circles for a while, and settled himself into the VA because he decided that the VA would be the best place to organize a national holocaust. It was the largest single group or corporation of hospitals, and it followed strict centralized rules. So the selection was just practical from his viewpoint, and had nothing to do with China or veterans.

  Theorigenic blindness

UncommonDescent notes the death of Weinberg, one of the major leaders of CERN. They give several quotes along these lines:

“With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.”

In fairness I don't know anything about Weinberg except his leadership of CERN. He might have said some sane things on other subjects. I'm really talking about CERN itself, and secondarily about Weinberg as a major spokesman for CERN.

Before the "virus" holocaust turned Public Health into the biggest threat, CERN was the biggest threat to the planet. CERN has been working intensively to create a black hole which will OBLITERATE THE PLANET.

You talk about war? That's a war to end all wars.

Weinberg shows what happens when science becomes the "life partner" of Deepstate, serving as the God Of War And Genocide.

He sees COMPETING religions as subhuman neanderthals who must be EXTERMINATED.

He doesn't see his OWN religion, Science, as the most infinitely destructive of all religions.

  Thanks, Elon!

For the first time we're seeing some pushback from PEOPLE WHO COUNT.

Los Angeles has resumed full holocaust after a brief break, as demonic psychopaths always do.

Elon fights back. He states clearly that the new mandate is ANTI-SCIENCE, and states clearly that he will NOT require ballgags in his facilities.

In NYC, the big bankers are trying to slow down DeBlasio, who hasn't yet resumed full murder as of the current picosecond.

Elon and Bankers are leaders in the universe of SHARE VALUE, which is more powerful than any courts or citizens.

Just before the start of the holocaust in Feb 2020, the SHARE VALUE crowd was pushing hard FOR lockdowns. Now the same crowd is saying NOT AGAIN.

When normal humans resist, they just get beaten to death. When Dimon and Musk resist, Deepstate is more inclined to listen. Both are CONNECTED to the blackmail network, so they have leverage.

Hope and pray. Hope and pray. Hope and pray.

Polistra repeats the prayer, not that it ever helped.

  Sabine's test

Hossenfelder offers a smart 'decision point' for fashionable nonsense in physics, like Dark Matter, Dark Energy, String Theory, and Multiverses.

She credits Lakatos for this rule:

Is this speculation clearly leading to results, or has it gone on for a long time without leading anywhere?

She then runs through the list and shows that all of them have been processed for decades without any progress. There's no map, no gradual development of better ideas and techniques. Just the same question tossed back and forth.

I'd use a more practical test:

Are you trying to SOLVE A REAL PROBLEM? Are you trying to help real people live better? If so, keep trying for as long as necessary. If not, stop**.

Some lines of invention and development can run for a long time with no progress. Easy example: Flying. For thousands of years we dreamed of flying like a bird, and hundreds of inventors tried and died.

Flight had to wait for two things: Chemical understanding of gases, and engines. After we understood buoyancy, balloons were possible. After engines, Wright Flight was possible.

Birds didn't give us the slightest hint of these two methods, though we realized after using balloons that birds have a controllable internal hot-air balloon.

Flight is a real problem with a determinate solution. We knew when it was solved because we were able to fly long distances consistently and regularly. Still, it took thousands of years and hundreds of external prerequisites before we could see the path to solution. The solution was perfectly invisible until reciprocating steam engines started turning fans.

Theories do not solve problems. Theories provide mental exercise for theorists, and provide tenure and grants for academicians.

Relying on theories leads to GENOCIDE every fucking time.

= = = = =

** Clarification from the science as entertainment view. Tossing around theories is a form of entertainment for some hobbyists. When I say STOP, I really mean STOP USING GOVERNMENTAL FUNDS AND AUTHORITY TO PURSUE YOUR PRIVATE ENTERTAINMENT. If you want to discuss sci-fi on your own time, or make money writing stories and videos for other hobbyists, that's wonderful. Entertainment is a good and necessary part of life. But GOVERNMENTAL FUNDS AND ARMIES AND AUTHORITY should never be involved in private entertainment.

Later, a perfect example via RCS. Philosophers working for public universities are arguing about what would happen if an unusual human didn't have consciousness but appeared to have consciousness. The entire subject of consciousness fits firmly in the Lakatos category. No possibility of any progress, utterly and conclusively pointless and resultless by every possible standard. These TAX-PAID philosophers have managed to make the subject even more convolutedly hyperpointless than it was before.

  I wake for beauty

Since my computer failed last week (entirely my own damn fault!) I've been reconstructing my various workspaces in a 'newer' computer that I had in storage. Important stuff was well preserved on daily backups, but I never bothered to preserve my bedtime playlist. So I rebuilt it from CDs and from downloads. Clearing and rebuilding was probably a good thing. I was able to bring back some good episodes that I had forgotten.

One episode of 'Can you imagine that' includes a perfectly beautiful rendition of the 1937 song Marquita by the Transcription Company Chorale.

This episode wakes me up just before the song starts every time. There's nothing noisy in the rest of the episode, no gunshots or screams, just calm courteous Lindsay MacHarrie narrating. Nevertheless, my mind catches something in the narration and wakes me up just in time to appreciate the perfection.

  Thanks, Discovery Institute!

Occasionally I toss various amounts toward crowdfunds and kickstarts. I always toss enough to get the 'merch', whether it's a t-shirt or a mug or whatever. I've never actually received anything, and the projects never actually produced their video or book.

Finally an exception. I donated $300 toward Discovery Institute's new ID video, and they immediately sent a nice fat packet of CDs and posters on design.

Reminds me of the packets I used to get back in the '50s when I sent a postage stamp or an IRC for 'free literature'. Companies were happy to promote their products, sending posters and magazines and samples of new materials like Mylar. I always looked forward to 'literature', and this packet has the same pleasant feel.

I needed some pleasant feedback this week, and Discovery provided it. Thanks!

Possible answer to an old question

Dubious thought, sort of makes sense.

We're ramping up our fake noise against China this year, blaming China for our own sins. Most of the time we blame Russia for our own sins, but other countries take a turn occasionally.

Thinking about our voluntary suicide led to a possible realization.

Fact: In the 80s China sent thousands of spies into universities and government research facilities, acting as "students". They were obviously working for China, and obviously spying. I saw it.

Fact: The Tiananmen thing happened at the height of this spying. Reagan went to China to give a speech on "freedom", and many Chinese students responded to his appeal.

Fact: Americans were appropriately suspicious of the Chinese spies UNTIL Tiananmen. After Tiananmen we welcomed them as "defectors" and "rebels", which they weren't. I felt the same way.

Fact: Reagan wasn't breaking any rules. The Chinese government knew what he was going to say, and allowed him to say it.

Question: Why did they allow Reagan to stir up protests?

Fact: All protests are government projects, here and in China and everywhere.

Pivot point: The dude who stood down the tanks and survived. When our FBI brings in the tanks, it NEVER NEVER NEVER allows a survivor or witness who might snitch. I doubt that the Chinese version would be MORE soft and tolerant. He was intended to survive, to energize the Americans. We felt that we were making progress in "helping" China to become "capitalist", while in fact China was already capitalist and we were anti-capitalist. ..... [But the softness might be real. Post-Mao China has vastly more respect for individual property rights than US. 90% of Chinese own their homes, vs 65% of Americans. When a homeowner stands firm against the bulldozers, China builds the road around him. Maybe the same applies to individual life?]

Dubious conclusion: Tiananmen was planned by both Deepstates working together. It was designed to soften and sweeten our surrender to China.

  Same fucking thing

Demon Inslee temporarily decreased his "virus" holocaust at the end of June. So far (as of this second anyway) he hasn't resumed the "virus" holocaust. Now at the end of July the Demon, along with the legislative demons in Seattle, are unleashing a new form of hell.

July 22:
The role of law enforcement is changing; however, public safety for all in our local communities has been and continues to be our number one priority. Recent legislatively mandated police reforms in Washington State reflect changing societal expectations and focus on reducing police interactions and decreasing potential uses of force by law enforcement. In practice, the reforms will require law enforcement to evaluate responses to non-criminal calls and the role of law enforcement filling every gap in public services. Calls for service that involve law enforcement will be even more measured and deliberate to reduce the potential of interactions requiring use of force, and to follow the new laws, which go into effect July 25.

Washington’s law enforcement agencies are not de-policing. Adapting, reforming and reimagining the public service of law enforcement is common to responsible and responsive organizations. It is also challenging. As a result of the changes required by law from the 2021 legislative session, law enforcement’s response to certain calls, and tactics while at the scene, will be significantly different from past practices. As these changes are implemented, it is essential for communities to engage with their respective law enforcement agencies constructively to understand and adapt to both intended and perhaps unintended changes to service capacity, delivery, and outcomes.

= = = = =

July 24:

The community is adapting AS EXPECTED to "unanticipated changes to service delivery"!
Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives charged two males and booked both into jail as the investigation into what led up to last night’s fight and deadly shooting at Ichabod’s East in Spokane Valley continues.

Suspect 1: Alexandro Aguilar, 29-years-old, was charged with one count of Murder 1st Degree, one count of Murder 1st Degree (attempted), and two counts of Assault 1st Degree. Suspect 2: Anthony J. Bonds Jr., 26-years-old, was charged with Assault 2nd Degree. The male gunshot victim who sustained life-threatening injuries remains hospitalized and was listed in critical condition at last check.

The female gunshot victim received medical treatment for her wounds and was later released.
Good job, community! Doing just what the demons unintended!

The purpose is the same.

In the "virus" holocaust, the ruling psychopaths took EXQUISITELY PRECISE AND THOROUGH MEASURES to eliminate all natural immunity to disease.

In the "defunding" holocaust, the ruling psychopaths are eliminating all natural and artificial immunity to crime.

In both cases the rulers are fraudulently "responding" to a NONEXISTENT FICTIONAL MADE-UP MANUFACTURED FAKE THREAT (an ordinary flu virus, cops killing "innocent" blacks) by removing all REAL DEFENSES against REAL THREATS.

The demons are working FOR viruses and gangs, and working AGAINST humans and civilization.

It's an all-consuming all-flanks war against humanity, the biggest crime in all of human history redoubled.

This is how psychopaths work. Change the rules, force obedience, change the rules, force obedience, change the rules, force obedience. Never give the victim a chance to recover.

  Apologies to Jeffrey Tucker

The basic principle of science is

Don't trust. Verify.

Never take words as authority. Think in Science As Entertainment mode. When you see a science article, treat it as an advertisement or attention grabber. "Hey! Look at this! I've found something really neat!" If you also think it's neat, verify it by your own experience, or your own observations, or your own experiments if possible.

Carver as always:

When Jeffrey Tucker called attention to the Michael Lewis book on the holocaust, I was suspicious. Tucker cited one BIG FACT from the book, but seemed to dismiss the book as written from the wrong viewpoint. We need ALL THE FACTS, and if Lewis was bringing in a load of facts, his viewpoint shouldn't matter.

In 2020 I learned to follow Carver UNIVERSALLY, so I started with the hypothesis that Tucker was protecting his own turf.

I bought the book (not from Amazon) and skimmed through it.

Tucker was exactly right, and I apologize for doubting him.

The book does have a few interesting facts, but it misses ALL the important points, totally ignores the inversion of science, and leaves out the 15 years of development between the 2005 initiative and the 2020 holocaust.

The book should have been titled

Why I am God

By Carter Mecher, as told to Michael Lewis.

Lewis doesn't know anything about science, so he didn't question or kick down any of the anti-science premises of the Mecher conspiracy.

Most notably, Mecher's plan was based on the notion that we fucked up the 1918 flu epidemic by NOT muzzling and NOT distancing and NOT lockdowning. We must get it right this time.

The facts instantly disprove this notion.

1. We tried all of those nasty tricks in 1918 and found that they didn't work. Our public health establishment was still operating IN science in 1918, and they were able to LEARN from experimental results.

2. The 1918 epidemic was a mix of virus and pneumococcus bacteria. Our scientists at the time didn't fully understand viruses, but they did fully understand bacteria, and they knew what they were seeing. MOST of the infections and deaths were from the bacteria. In 1918 WE DIDN'T HAVE ANTIBIOTICS against bacteria. Penicillin was discovered in 1928, and related antibiotics weren't really universal until WW2.

Fucking constants and fucking variables. The virus is a constant, but it wasn't the important factor in the 1918 deaths. The lockdown shit is a variable. It was tried AS A VARIABLE in 1918, and found to fail. After that, public health knew that lockdown shit didn't work. Bacteria, and defenses against bacteria, are two more variables. No bacteria in the 2020 illness, and even if the bacteria were present, we can handle them now.

Mecher deliberately skipped over those constants and variables and ASSERTED that lockdown shit would work this time, because Mecher said so.

Michelet as always:
Here lies Sprenger's real merit, which is beyond dispute. He is a fool, but an intrepid fool; boldly and unflinchingly he lays down the least acceptable doctrines. Another man would have tried to elude, attenuate, soften objections, —but this is not his way. Beginning on the first page, he sets down openly and displays one by one the natural, self-evident reasons there are for disbelieving the satanic miracles. This done, he adds coldly, "Merely so many heretic mistakes." And never pausing to refute the reasons given, he copies out the texts on the other side, St. Thomas Aquinas, the Bible, legends, canonists, and commentators. First he shows you what common sense has to say, then pulverises it by weight of authority.

The method is everywhere identical. Good common sense first of all, followed by a direct frontal attack, a downright, unhesitating negation of common sense. It would seem natural enough, for instance, to say that, love being in the soul already, it is hardly necessary to assume the mysterious intervention of the Evil One to be required. Is not this fairly self-evident? Not so, says Sprenger.

  3 Cs

Interesting graphs from a poll of age groups by MorningConsult. The poll focused on CRT, Capitalism, and Cancel Culture.

CRT and Capitalism are perfectly linear by age. The oldest hate CRT and love Capitalism, the youngest love CRT and hate Capitalism.

Cancel is a total exception. EVERYONE hates it. The graph is linear EXCEPT for Gen Z, who hate it even more than boomers. The youngest part of Gen Z hates it the most. Why? Probably because they see it on a personal level as a form of bullying. The cancel bullies are mostly within that age group, but this stat would indicate that the bullies are a small part of the cohort.

The real problem, of course, is NOT within Gen Z. The problem is corporate and school administrators who respond instantly to the worst part of Gen Z. Bullies and Karens are part of every generation. These particular bullies have been granted a unique amount of LEVERAGE. One bully can ruin everyone.

Maybe this stat will help those admins to see that they're HARMING Gen Z instead of helping.

Where would I fit on the graphs? Pretty much out of the chalk lines. Born in 1949, toward the oldest end of boomers. I hate capitalism passionately and rationally. I think CRT is a silly fad not worth thinking about and not worth fighting over. I think Cancel is normal and inevitable, with a momentary peak right now that will automatically fade.

The vast majority of "questions" on Quora are generated automatically by human bots in India who are picking up a little bit of money. The automatic nature is easy to suspect and hard to prove... but not always. Quora lists similar questions, not yet answered, under one question that is answered.

Like a fucking odometer.

  Wolf as usual

As usual, Wolf points out that MOST of the economic shit comes from long-lasting corporate treason and crimes. SOME of it comes from the 2020 holocaust. The pattern is consistent, 70% old crimes, 30% new crimes.

As usual, Wolf shows it with facts and the best graphs in the world.

Today he features a whiny complaint from a railroad baron:
“Nor did we anticipate that a lot of the people were going to decide they didn’t want to work anymore. So attrition was much higher in the first half of the year than what we had expected,” he said.

Before the railroads blame the 33% cut in the workforce on the pandemic, let’s point out that by February 2020, just before the pandemic, their headcount had already been cut by 46,000 workers, or by 26%, to 128,000. Only 12,000 workers were cut during the pandemic.

The resulting deterioration in service triggered numerous complaints from shippers. But one of the big benefits was that the workforce could be slashed, which fattened the profit margins at the railroads. Wall Street analysts loved it, and it was good for railroad stocks.

Also as usual, Wolf's commenters know what they're talking about:
Yup, railroads have been cutting jobs for decades in Canada. And now with the latest wildfires they will have to rehire brakemen as a freight train most likely started the Lytton disaster fire. They will now have to slow down and also monitor. They substituted instrumentation for brakemen…and as a result there have been some absolutely dreadful accidents the last 10 years.
The basic permanent fact is that people DO want to work. People desperately want a two-way contract with employers, where both sides have obligations and both sides must PAY FOR VALUE. People are terminally tired of giving 110% and then being tossed like toilet paper to add .000000001 micropenny to ALMIGHTY SHARE VALUE.

  Rereading Percy

Walker Percy's Love In The Ruins is the best prophetic dystopia for our age. The novel was written in 1971, much later than Orwell and Huxley, so some of the social prophecies aren't especially prophetic.

Percy includes a lot of 'woke' and 'cancel' shit, which would look prophetic if you weren't in academia in the '70s. In fact all of this shit has infected academia for exactly 1000 years, and today's version isn't much worse than the '70s.

Oddly for a non-tech writer, his tech predictions are more prophetic than his social observations. He shows Barack and Michelle Obama driving a Toyota electric car, and the apocalypse is induced by cellphones working for NSA. On the dot.

The plot pivots on the 'trial' of old Mr Ives, in the form of a Grand Rounds theater in a medical school. Mr Ives has been resisting 'care' and 'wellness' in a nursing home. Ives has been digging in the nursing home grounds, claiming to be looking for the Fountain of Youth. Obvious evidence of dementia.

The 'trial' is aimed at sending Ives off to the Happy Isle Separation Center, ie the gas chamber. The Percy character is trying to get Ives released from the nursing home entirely. He uses his brain-influencing cellphone to loosen up Ives's tacit stubbornness, and Ives starts telling his actual story. He is an amateur archeologist, studying old native artifacts and languages. After he was committed to the nursing home, he figured out that a certain relic was likely to be under the grounds of the nursing home. He dug it up and used it as a Rosetta stone to decipher a previously uncrackable ancient language. The Percy character wins the case, but the novel immediately rambles off into the apocalyptic chaos generated by the cellphones. So we don't find out what happens to Mr Ives.

My previous rereading of the book was 10 years ago. At that time the character of Mr Ives resonated strongly, but I didn't see the precise prediction of eugenics aimed at oldsters. Now we're there. Goddess Greta ordered the world to Kill Granny, and the entire world obeyed in mechanical unison.

= = = = =

Last week's forced 'wellness' appointment in the medical torture chamber echoed Mr Ives. I was tacitly resistant, knowing full well that anything I said would be used against me. Afterward the clinic sent a brief note of the visit as standard procedure. Along with the weight and blood pressure and test results, the note said

Pt expressed dissatisfaction at being required to be here.

Well, that's accurate. Pt actually said "Just write the prescription and let me get out of here." But if Pt had been anywhere but the Star Chamber, Pt would have expressed considerably more than dissatisfaction. Pt has been expressing RAGE in this blog.

During 2020, Pt has been frantically engaged in amateur science, doing real experiments and animating old machines and places as a form of spiritual warfare. Pt has been sending out prayers to show the PROPER use of science as entertainment and improvement, trying to jam the overmodulated signals from SCIENCE AS GOD OF WAR AND GENOCIDE.

Pt performed one real experiment a few years earlier that actually fits the novel. The Percy character invented a portable brain analyzer. His satanic assistant Art Immelmann, who works for "considerably higher than FBI", modified the analyzer into a brain controller.

In 2018 Pt built a replica of Hubbard's original E-meter, which was billed as an analyzer. Pt proved that it was actually a controller, generating a panic response in Pt's body. Pt was SCARED SHITLESS and immediately disassembled the project.

Was Percy thinking of Hubbard? It's possible, considering that Hubbard's cult was at its peak in the '70s. MANY rich and famous fuckheads were Hubbard robots. One reviewer mentions that Percy used Hubbardites as characters in other books.

  Fortunately, unfortunately...

This morning I woke up at 330, more or less as usual. Soon after waking, a thunderclap happened, followed by some nice rain. I shut off the computer, which had been running the usual bedtime playlist. After the brief storm passed, I turned the computer on again. Oops! Expensive noises, and HARD DISK FAILURE.

I don't know if there was a lightning strike before I woke up, or if the computer just finally aged out. Most likely the lightning.

Fortunately the computer had been showing signs of age for a while, and I had bought a "new" refurbished Win 7 unit back in November. So I disconnected the old one and plugged everything into the new one. Started up, and it neatly established connections with the mouse and keyboard and web. This only took about 15 minutes.

Unfortunately I should have done the substitution earlier while the old one was still running. At that time courseware was still urgent and active, so the transfer was a bad idea. After the courseware settled down in April, there was relentless bad weather plus the stress and weariness of fighting the holocaust, so I still didn't do the transfer.

Fortunately I always back up current courseware and graphics to USB, so I can just copy those back to the new one.

Unfortunately the new unit is a 32-bit computer, which I either didn't notice or was misrepresented. So some programs aren't happy.

In sum, the only thing really missing is my bedtime OTR playlist, which never got backed up on USB. I know what was there, so I can reconstitute it from CDs and from

Soon I'll need to buy a 64-bit unit more carefully. For now I'm mostly up and running.

  Saagar, Sealy, Skinner

Saagar and Krystal have been hitting a basic question of marketing. They ask why governments are pushing vax with fear and panic instead of reward and respect. Marketers and advertisers have always known that reward works, while anger provokes resistance. No mystery, no "studies" needed.

The obvious answer is that media and government DON'T WANT to get the population vaxed. Media and government WANT to have a convenient scapegoat for the next hypertotal lockdown plus 10000000000000000000 layers of muzzle plus 10000000000000000 layers of lucite.

It's not our fault, it's YOUR fault.

Saagar points out an inconvenient fact: The firmest antivaxers are black and Hispanic. He doesn't mention a similar fact: The original antivaxers are OCD Gaian hippies in Seattle and Portland. None of these people are alt-white Trumptard witches, and associating them with Trump is not the best way to keep them on the D side.

= = = = =

More broadly, this complete switchover of persuasion started gradually in 1970 then avalanched in 2001. The same "bioterror" demons who brought us 9/11 are still at work in the same government offices, bringing us the 2020 holocaust.

The target variable is simply ATTENTION.

In earlier decades media REWARDED us for paying attention. After 2001, media grabs attention ONLY by inducing maximum fear and panic.

Newspapers were always panicators, and haven't changed. Radio is where the change was most evident.

I've discussed this before.

Let's reuse my most recent example, the Chicago-based 'Calling All Detectives'. Most of the episodes online were digitized from the transcription, leaving out the actual quiz. Only one episode includes it.

The intro turns on your pleasant anticipation::

What is the real name of S. S. Van Dine? That is the Sealy Mystery Quiz question, now worth $180. If the person we call at the end of the program can answer a question based on tonight's story, he or she will EARN a Sealy Innerspring Mattress, plus a chance to answer the Sealy Mystery Quiz Question. So pull up a chair and LISTEN CLOSELY.

Then the story itself proceeds. You don't know which detail will be quizzed, so your brain is in FULL ATTENTION mode with a pleasant flavor, gathering up all possible info.

After the story, the narrator himself makes two calls live. The quiz detail was the town where two characters got married, an incidental fact mentioned only once, not an important plot point. On this day, neither of the callees knew the answer, so the Mystery Quiz clicked up to $200 for next time. [This recording was made at WGN, which originated the show. I assume other stations would use their own announcers to call local residents during this time segment.]

Note especially the PAY FOR VALUE aspect. You are asked to do MENTAL WORK in order to EARN a mattress, which is certainly a pleasant goal for most folks. [Americans had plenty of money in 1948, but housing and furniture were extremely hard to find.]

= = = = =

Now we have to pay attention to every screech that comes from demons like Inslee, because we never know when the next horrible STOMP will be announced. Demon Inslee held two-hour press conferences, basically 98% anti-Trump screeching, and near the end he announced the next lethal Phases and SubPhases. You had to absorb two hours of raw poisonous hatred if you wanted to be prepared for the next circle of hell.

The two forms of persuasion are precisely symmetrical. Pleasant attention induced by the anticipation of EARNING a reward, versus TERROR induced by the need to survive when trapped in the same room with a crazed kidnapper and murderer.

Sealy vs Satan, Mattress vs Murder.

Another note for my own records

The TSA, created by the 2001 fake panic, has become the last holdout of ballgags in the current fake panic. Even in the craziest states like Wash, muzzles are gone in most businesses and stores.

I can't throw away the satanic device because it's still needed on the bus. TSA is firmly requiring ballgags on all public transportation until Sept 13, and I'm sure that date will be extended until 9999999999999999999 gigayears after the end of the universe.

But why Sept 13? It's a Monday, not a Friday, and it doesn't correspond to any fiscal year or tax deadlines.

I thought it might have been tied to primary elections, since primaries are on Tuesday. Checking dates, no statewide primaries are even in Sept. The latest one is in Aug. Odd years are mainly city elections. There are probably some city primaries in Sept, but I can't see one city primary as important enough to influence TSA.

The most likely answer is the California recall, which is Sept 14. As with the riots, the correlation makes sense but the causation is entirely unclear.

Later thought: 9/11/2021 is the 20th anniversary of the GLORIOUS FOUNDING OF TSA. 9/13/2021 is the first weekday after GLORIOUS FOUNDING.

  A little natural justice

The fearmongers are screeching louder and louder because nobody is listening. There's no such thing as accountability, and no chance of "legal" justice. We'll never get a Nuremberg trial because there are no victorious allies.

Still, natural justice sometimes works via money.

A chart from one of the fact-gatherers:

Norm seems to be 40% down from last year. That's a bankruptcy-size decline for businesses that run mainly on debt. Vanity toys like WaPo can sustain it, because super-rich fuckheads like Bezos have infinite resources.

This shouldn't have been surprising. When you tie your ENTIRE existence to FUCK TRUMP, and TRUMP disappears, your reason for existence disappears.

I noted this problem in 2017:

= = = = = START REPRINT:

I read an article about Pininfarina's 1961 dream car, the Jacqueline. Pininfarina was trying to get Cadillac to make the car, and the name (as in Jackie Kennedy) was meant to be part of the appeal.

It was a DAMNED PRETTY car, but GM didn't bite. It's clear from actual results, if not from written history, that AMC did bite on the styling. The perfectly pretty 1963 Rambler clearly follows the same lines, and the timing is about right. Ed Anderson gets full credit for the '63. I doubt it. His previous "own" designs were clumsy, and his previous designs with official help from Pininfarina were pretty. So the influence, official or otherwise, seems like a good bet.

Naming cars after people other than the company founder has always been a jinx, so it's easy to see why nobody picked up the name.

Around 1930 Marmon named its sub-luxury car the Roosevelt, after Teddy. Just in time for the other Roosevelt to become a hissing and a byword to Marmon customers. A little later Studie named its new cheap car the Rockne, after Knute. Just in time for Knute to get killed in a plane crash.

This should have been an obvious marketing error. Politics and football are team sports, with passionate fans and anti-fans for each politician or coach. When you pick one side you automatically lose the anti-fans as customers, even though they might have liked the car.

So we don't have a Cadillac Ivanka or a Chevy Nixon or a Ford Paterno.

Lincoln is a major exception to the rule. I guess the jinx doesn't apply with people who are far enough in the past that they have fossilized into household words. It certainly applies to people who are alive at the time of the naming, because living people can surprise you.

= = = = = END REPRINT.

Media were also making another mistake BY THEIR OWN STANDARDS. A plot in soap opera runs for six months. When FOX and CNN turned "news" to soap opera in 1990, they continued the rule. A major story always ran for six months. This one has gone on without any change for 18 months, so it shouldn't be surprising that the people have moved on.

  The scariest part....

A satanic demon named JOHN TILLSON writes a perfectly scary screech in Aeon.

Fortunately JOHN TILLSON is also grotesquely STUPID and has no fucking idea why his horrible idea won't work and can't work.

First the stupid part:
Consider the following case of what I call ‘knowledge insertion’ from The Matrix (1999). In the movie, the protagonist Neo discovers that the world as he knows it is a computer simulation designed to help enslave humanity. To free humanity, it (apparently) helps to know kung fu. While Neo doesn’t know any, he doesn’t need long to learn it. Via a computer cable plugged into the back of his skull, the martial art is downloaded into his mind, instantaneously making him an expert.

If you could, would you follow Neo’s example and ‘insert knowledge’ – or indeed any other valuable dispositions, such as character traits? After all, it’s not just knowledge that Neo has ‘inserted’, but the kung fu ability that the kung fu knowledge has enabled. In fact, there are many desirable states that can’t necessarily be reduced to ‘knowledge’ – such as being courageous, intelligent, creative, funny and athletic – but might be facilitated by it.
A skill is not a "state", whatever the fuck that means. A skill is a complex set of microprogrammed and FLEXIBLE responses to a physical process. Training involves a long and intentional interaction with the weapon or the hammer or the frying pan. Real trainers put the student through a controlled 'play' of the real process, deliberately creating the oddities or accidents that typically occur during the process, without the deadly consequences of real mistakes.

JOHN TILLSON goes on to examine how learning really happens, and relentlessly smashes every part of the process without ever saying why the real thing can't work. The real thing is bad because JOHN TILLSON SAYS SO, and that's all.

Michelet as usual:
Now the scary part, showing JOHN TILLSON'S real purpose, which is of course the same as Sprenger and Kremer:
Even if we dodge the threat of replacement by downloading a modest suite of knowledge at a suitably gentle pace, we might still worry that knowledge insertion would make us become someone we wouldn’t want to be. This isn’t always a problem. Suppose Neo was racist and wanted to stay racist. I’d say that losing his racism as an unexpected and unwanted side-effect of uploading kung fu would be objectively serendipitous.

Any antecedent hostility to becoming non-racist wouldn’t constitute a problem: it should be a welcome becoming.
A welcome becoming. Straight out of Comrade O'Brien.

Most of the commenters are just fussing about grammar points or definitions. One gets the difference between real experience and injected "states". None of them are bothered by the scary part. And that's the scariest part.

  Note for my own records

Just noting a connection that needs further exploration.

Last summer's riots were unquestionably related SOMEHOW to the holocaust. All of the participating murderers officially SCREECHED that riots are an intrinsic part of Public "Health". The clinic where I'm forced to get annual "checkups" sent out an official email PRESCRIBING RIOTS AS THE CURE FOR PANDEMICS.

The correlation is lethally clear. But how and why? Where's the causation or the driving force?

One dubious hypothesis, based loosely on old dystopian novels:

It's a switchover.

Diseases are now crimes and crimes are now diseases.

Defund and disempower cops. Simultaneously give all power and money to the Public Death Officers.

This doesn't seem to hit the point. Maybe it's a start, maybe not.

Variable that isn't accounted for: The riots were more crudely political than the rest of this shit. Riots in 2020 because the puppet in the White House had R on his label. No riots in 2021 because the puppet in the White House has D on his label.

The media might be the main driver for the riots. Media are crudely and stupidly partisan, while the organizers of the holocaust are above labels. They started work under the command of Bush Junior, and continued smoothly through Obama and Trump and Biden, three changes of label.

  New parallel

Those Texas Democrats, chartered politicians in unchartered territory, were showing the standard elite arrogance. Violating the rules that they force the peasants to obey.

Now apparently some of them have "tested" positive for the Branded Virus.

Repoofs are appropriately schadenfreudisch.

I don't have any sympathy at all for the monstrous politicians, but the "news" about "testing" is absurd.

Before 2020 we weren't TESTING for a specific virus every day, so we wouldn’t have KNOWN OR CARED if somebody had a specific virus unless they were actually sick.

I've been hammering this point forever. For some reason today's hammer led to a broader parallel that I hadn't noticed before.

In the realms of speech and writing and religion, we accept some censorship of PHYSICAL ACTIONS. We understand that newspapers shouldn't be stirring up riots and wars (but in fact they do) and we understand that there's a line between insults and death threats. Religions can believe what they want, but shouldn't commit sexual or violent crimes as part of their belief.

In speech and religion we rigidly preserve the INTERNAL realm. A government shouldn't be able to discern what you're thinking, or force you to BELIEVE AND THINK the correct way.

Social media already crossed this line with constant MONITORING AND TESTING of thoughts. Even if you don't express an opinion, your movements and purchases and other expressions can be INTERPOLATED AND PREDICTED to form a virtual image of your forbidden opinion.

Constant TESTING for diseases before they appear is identical to censorship of THOUGHTS before they are expressed.

Everyone has improper thoughts which are NOT CAUSING VIOLENCE AND THEFT. Everyone has a whole pile of microbes which are NOT CAUSING SICKNESS.

We've broken through the internal barrier in both departments.

= = = = =

Carrying the metaphor another step:

Mental isolation and physical lockdowns are intended to BREAK IMMUNITY in both departments.

Normal face-to-face conversation gives us immunity to the worst thoughts. We can see that other people have the same bad thoughts, so we feel less alone. We can feel subtle pressures toward decent behavior, and develop our internal pressures from the examples. Laws and punishments are always needed for serious physical violations, but those actions are RARE in a functional civilization where everyone is useful and everyone knows their place.

Normal face-to-face contact gives us immunity to microbes. We encounter other microbes coming from other people, and our immune system distinguishes the new ones and develops a response. Our immune response is far more effective than government vaccination for the vast majority of microbes. Vaccinations are needed for a few severe viruses that kill large numbers of people before the immune system can get its act together.

This picture of a car crash in Spokane is a pretty good shibboleth or Rohrschach test.

What does this picture contain?

  Gentlygoers vs ragers

Yesterday I went in for the annual required renewal of prescription on blood pressure pills. The clinic had delayed it for about six months while they were "all virtual", but now they're just ALL DYSTOPIAN.

I had been wondering how those statistics about "tests" were acquired. Earlier in the holocaust there were some drive-up "testing" events, but those didn't last. The nearly universal "testing" was continuing, but I didn't see it.

The clinic is doing a thriving business in automated "tests" for "the virus", required by employers. Muzzled Virobots walk in, go to the computer screen, touch the screen for a ticket, get their "test", walk out with a Fauci Jugend armband.

Real customers are unwanted. I walked up to the checkin desk, presented my membership card as usual, and the Dalek behind the desk emitted the following screech:

I then announced my number and name in properly robotic form, and waited for the "doctor" to call me.

When grimly anticipating this event, I had fantasized how I would by God show them and tell them the truth, knowing full fucking well that I wouldn't really do it, and knowing that it would be wildly counterproductive.

Fortunately I restrained myself to my standard tacit grump attitude. "Just write the prescription and let me out of here!"

This attitude isn't new, and didn't start with the holocaust. It started a few years ago when the clinic was simply incompetent, losing records and forcing me to come in three times for one appointment.

= = = = =

Grandma was right. She HATED doctors and hospitals, and refused to use them unless CRITICALLY necessary. I've picked up her attitude, maybe by genes and maybe by imitation.

Grandma didn't go gently into the bad night of Public Health. She raged in her quiet cold stubborn way against forced "wellness". She trusted her body and trusted her connection with Nature.

These willing Virobots are going gently and cheerfully, helping the monsters gather up their fake "testing" stats to maintain the holocaust forever.

= = = = =

Calibrating: I will admit that occasional UNFORCED checkups are a good idea for codgers and biddies. As the body loses resilience, events can leave an unbounced imprint. January's windstorm and power outage started with serious danger and ended with a day of hypothermia. Since then I've been slower and more easily tired. Yesterday's pressure check and blood test showed that nothing has really changed, which makes me feel better. Just getting old.

Constants and Variables 165, open-source Kuhn edition

"Social" "science" is either torture or trivia. Occasionally the trivia includes an interesting fact.

Constant: This article simply repeats what every insider has known for many decades. Academia is a self-reinforcing superstar system. Kuhn said it best.

Variable: The article mentions that some countries DON'T follow Kuhn, which is a surprising observation.
It is also interesting to note that Lower Middle Income countries (LMICs) like India do not consist of many citation elites. This in turn leads to less publicity or attention on studies conducted in those countries.
This fits with an oddity I've seen in the holocaust.
Only a few MDs and virologist types have dared to defend real science against the holocaust's total reversal of all logic and facts and science. MOST of those heroes have Indian names. This is true in US and Canada and Britain and Germany. I haven't been following other countries but wouldn't be surprised if it's the same there. I don't know what causes this correlation, but it's a STRONG correlation. Were scientists from India left out of the demonic circle of secrets and blackmail? Distrusted by Deepstate, or just forgotten?
Doubly interesting: India is the only place where caste is OPENLY AND EXPLICITLY recognized. Every society has strict caste rules, but everyone except India hides the rules.

Hidden rules are easy to manipulate. When a society runs on the vicious myth of meritocracy, high-status people can pretend that their place is justified by hard work.

  Mecher's ancestor

Bumped into this while looking for info on Kepler.

An editorial in 'International Record of Medicine', 1922.

Carter Mecher's ancestors at work!
Medical men are rarely politicians, and for this the medical profession should be devoutly thankful. At the the same time so long as doctors are impotent politically they are likely to be shorn of their rights. The ordinary citizen, now that the medical practitioner has been divested of the mystery that enshrouded his calling of yore, is likely to subject the medical profession to an analytical consideration based on ignorance and on a superficial education.

The rise of preventive medicine, largely in Great Britain under governmental control, has tended to imperil the independence of the doctor, and to place him somewhat at the mercy of a bureaucracy whose policy seems to be guided by expediency.

The American people understand far better than those of Great Britain the importance of hygiene and are more open to educational propaganda on the subject, despite the fact that the medical profession do not count for much in politics. When the masses have learned thoroughly the lesson that good health is the most valuable asset that a nation or individual can possess, and that doctors can or should be able to show how this invaluable possession can be gained and retained, then they will insist that medical men shall be invested with such political power as shall enable them to carry out plans designed to promote health.
Relentless propaganda for wellness and testing led us to insist that doctors should have the power to carry out PLANS. And sure enough they did. Eugenics, torture, mass murder. PLANS.

Compare this with the more open and honest pressure exerted by the Public Death Officers in Sweden, as documented by Ibsen in 1900.

  Terse and precise

From Twitter:
I turned 18 in Feb 2020. I lost my friends, my education, the first year of my adult life, my mental health, and 20lbs.

I didn’t make sacrifices.

I was sacrificed.
This is the purpose and the erotic joy of our demonic satanic rulers. Sacrificing all meat objects to Satan provides an endless infinite orgasm.

  Chartered territory

Three salient things about this grotesque picture:

1. Democrats are all unmuzzled. They should be thanking Gov Abbott for unmuzzling Texas early and firmly. Instead they're fucking around with stupid shit about voting. Abbott is also fucking around with stupid shit about voting. I forgive him for returning to the stupid shit because he showed GUTS on the ONLY FUCKING THING THAT MATTERS. He gets a free pass forever on stupid partisan shit.

I don't forgive the demons. From the start they've been unmuzzled in their giant mansions and exclusive private clubs while clubbing the rest of us to death.

2. Unchartered territory has pretty much replaced uncharted territory. In this case it's literally wrong, since this is obviously a chartered plane. Commercial flights, along with public transit, still require ballgags. Again the fuckheads should be thanking the charter operator for supporting HEALTH instead of MURDER, but they're not.

3. Even allowing for the turboprop malaprop, there's nothing uncharted about politicians playing quorum games. It's an old routine, used by both "sides" at various times.

  Astrometeorology 6, back to Europe

Continuing from previous, still slow and inadequate. Apologies to those ancient REAL SCIENTISTS who deserve vastly more credit than I can give here.

Proper astrology, using the stars and planets for scientific prediction of weather and human patterns, began with the Greeks in the era of Ptolemy and Pythagoras. When Greek and Roman civilization declined, Arabs and Persians picked up the subject and advanced it.

Around 1300 Europe started to resume the intellectual side of civilization, and grabbed the astrometeorology ball back from Persia.

I'll focus on three products of this early work, with an emphasis on science as entertainment.

= = = = =

First the Torquetum. Copying from one academic account:
The torquetum or turquet is a complex and sophisticated instrument characteristic of Medieval astronomy and the Ptolemaic tradition. It was a product of Christian Europe in the late 13th century. It could be used to make measurements in the three sets of astronomical coordinates: horizon (alt-azimuthal), equatorial, and ecliptic. It also provided a mechanical means to interconvert between these sets of coordinates without the use of calculations (it served as an analog computer), and to demonstrate the relationships of these coordinate sets. Modern scholars attribute the torquetum's use largely for demonstration purposes and "conspicuous intellectual consumption."
Nice phrase! In other words it was more entertainment than science.

The torquetum combined the motions of the astrolabe and the qibla-finder, and added even more motions.

Note the vertical and horizontal alidades, for sighting sun and stars:

Here the torquetum runs through all of its possible motions:

It certainly would have been impressive! Maybe not educational.

= = = = =

A smaller and perhaps more useful tool was the Horary Dial:

This was made in Vienna around 1500. I can't find instructions for the usage of the triple-jointed arm or brachiolus, so Polistra will just wiggle it around.

= = = = =

The Navicula was more elegant and more useful. It was an artistic version of an astrolabe, designed to look like a ship. In other words it was both an analog computer and a literal computer. Naviculas were made in several European countries, from Venice to Colchester. I'm animating the Colchester version.

The mast rotated from side to side, and carried a cursor sliding down a scale of latitude. A plumb dropped from the middle of the instrument so you could determine the angle of the entire navicula.

Back view: The cursor had its own plumb, with a sliding bead.

Here I'm simply rotating the entire instrument, pausing to show the alidade feature. You would sight between the slots in the end castles.

Putting it through its paces, from the front:

And from the back:

Plenty of action, plenty of scales and moving parts.

Now Polistra will follow David King's instructions.

1. To use the instrument, we first set the cursor on the mast to the latitude.

2 Then we rotate the mast to the solar declination on the lower scale.

3 Next we set the bead on the thread at the solar declination on the side scale.

4 When the instrument is tilted so that the rays of the sun pass through the hole on the upper sight and fall on the corresponding part of the lower sight,

5 ... the inclination of the horizontal axis of the instrument measures the solar altitude. The bead then falls on the appropriate marking of the hour-scale.

  Extreme honesty about science

A former editor of British Medical Journal says plainly:

It's time to assume that all health research is fraudulent unless proved otherwise.

The author has been keeping track of the situation for a long time, watching it get worse and worse.

The commenters are insiders, and offer more HARDASS honesty and insight.

One brings up a point I hadn't considered:
Do note that creating incentives to uncover fraudulent research will be incentives to falsely frame genuine research as being fraudulent (which I consider at least as bad, if not worse). There is really no escaping in the current system - you can try to address some of the symptoms, but you cannot change people's behavioural patterns.
It's time to do for research what FDR did for banks. Shut down and sort out.

We need a year-long LOCKDOWN of all research. Not just medical research, ALL ALL ALL ALL research.

None of it is necessary.

A very few projects are aimed at solving real problems. The vast vast vast majority is aimed at CREATING problems and killing people.

During the year-long pause, sort out the good from the bad. Carefully resume the dozen or so useful projects, using a Trinity House approach, via a mutual insurance structure.

Each project must bring in a profit by saving lives. The funder charges a fee to the companies that benefit from increased and improved lives. Any project that doesn't actually save actual lives will be cancelled forever.

Say the black, do the red

Quora question:

Do you believe the World Economic Forum?

Correct answer: BELIEVE is irrelevant when we're dealing with COMMANDS. WEF gives commands, not statements.

Facts and commands have been conflated in recent times, as part of the weaponizing of Science.

Written texts formerly had ways of distinguishing statements and commands. A statement can be provable, or can be the object of faith and belief. A command can't be proved or disproved or believed or disbelieved. It can only be obeyed or disobeyed.

Roman liturgy, written as a script for the priest, traditionally used red ink** for the commands and black ink for the words to be read aloud. Say the black, do the red.

Bookkeeping used black and red with the same meaning. Black represents money we've received, which is a passive fact. Red represents debt, money we need to pay, which is an active command.

Stage plays didn't use colors, but often used brackets to surround the commands to the stagehands. Change the set here, make sound effects here, drop the curtain here. The actor's speech is outside of brackets.

HTML follows the stage tradition. Everything between angle brackets is commands to the browser's stagehand. Lay out a frame with this shape, set font to bold here, play a sound effect here, make a new line here. Everything outside the brackets is text to be spoken by the browser's actor.

= = = = =

Key point: Science was NOT meant to be commands. Science was all black ink, all outside the brackets. A research finding is just a passive fact, a saying, which can be checked and proved or disproved. Or the author may say that the question can't be determined either way.

A proper research paper can be seen as black and red for other researchers. Methods are red. Here's what you should do if you want to check and replicate. Data and discussion are black. Here's what we saw, and here's what we think about it.

A research paper is not supposed to be commands to the public.

Starting in 1946 with the founding of NSF and WHO and CDC, science has been turned into commands. 2020 completed the process. Science is all red, no black.

Fuhrer Fauci said it straightforwardly.

I am science. Do as you're told.

We need to understand what has happened. We need to return science to its former role as ENTERTAINMENT.

= = = = =

** Language footnote: The history of red ink in liturgy is interesting! It started with carpenters using red ochre to mark "cut here".

THANKS RALPH, out of the hole edition

The memory hole is starting to puke up the truth that was jammed down its throat.

When THE GUARDIAN starts telling the truth, you know the game is nearly over.
New Zealand hospitals are experiencing the payoff of IMMUNITY DEBT CREATED BY COVID-19 LOCKDOWNS, with wards flooded by babies with a potentially-deadly respiratory virus, doctors have warned.

Wellington has 46 children currently hospitalised for respiratory illnesses including respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV. A number are infants, and many are on oxygen. Other hospitals are also experiencing a rise in cases that are straining their resources – with some delaying surgeries or converting playrooms into clinical space.

RSV is a common respiratory illness. In adults, it generally only produces very mild symptoms – but it can make young children extremely ill, or even be fatal. The size and seriousness of New Zealand’s outbreak is likely being fed by what some paediatric doctors have called an “immunity debt” – where people don’t develop immunity to other viruses suppressed by Covid lockdowns, causing cases to explode down the line.
Needless to say, THIS WAS THE ENTIRE TOTAL PURPOSE of the lockdowns and muzzles and distancing, as many of us have been HAMMERING AND SHOUTING AND SCREAMING FOR 16 FUCKING DEADLY LETHAL HOLOCAUSTAL MONTHS.

When Guardian states the full truth, the game is over.

Note the perfect karma, perfect Emersonian justice. Kids were RUINED in order to fakely "protect" them from an insignificant virus with EXACTLY EXACTLY ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO RISK. Now that they are incapable of any immune response, a new virus that is SPECIFICALLY DEADLY TO KIDS comes along and kills them.

Do I feel vindicated? Fuck yes. We'll never be recognized. We'll never receive an apology. But at least the governments and media are starting to allow a little scrap of reality to appear.

There's one huge unanswered question: If those doctors understood what was happening, WHY DID THEY LET IT HAPPEN?????? Doctors had the POWER to change the rules. Random heretics have no power at all.

Nuremberg time.

  Refreshed by non-fadeout

Here's one fact-gatherer who HASN'T given up or faded out:
You have to remember, that before it was rebranded public health, it was called eugenics.

The people funding it and it's goals didn't change, they just reframed it, and also pivoted towards climate change as the boogey man that justifies it.

This is how the ruling class thinks.

On the fucking dot. Rebranding is the name of the game. Take perfectly ordinary parts of nature and rebrand them as HORRIBLE EMERGENCY ALIEN INVADERS, then sacrifice the entire fucking world to "fight" the perfectly ordinary things.

Back to Ibsen again:

= = = = = START REPRINT:

Trying to trace the earliest usage of "Whole-of-society" in the proper form. GoogleBooks doesn't search by exact year, but it does divide by centuries. So far I'm not seeing the trademarked phrase before 2000. The three words sometimes occur in a sentence, but it's clearly incidental, not the official war cry.

With one HIGHLY RELEVANT exception.

From Ibsen's An enemy of society, 1900.

DR STOCKMANN. But they'll get the worst of it, I can promise them. Henceforth, every day I'll throw myself into the breach in the Messenger; bombard them with one article after another.

ASLAKSEN. Yes, but look here...

BILLING. Hurrah! There'll be war, there'll be war!

DR STOCKMANN. I will smite them to the earth. I will crush them, level all their entrenchments to the ground before the eyes of all right-thinking men. I'll do it.

ASLAKSEN. But all the same be reasonable, doctor; proceed with moderation...

BILLING. Not at all, not at all; don't spare for dynamite.

DR STOCKMANN (going on imperturbably) For, remember that henceforth it is not merely a question of water works and sewers.

No, the whole of society must be cleansed, disinfected.

BILLING. There sounds the word of salvation!

DR STOCKMANN. All the old bunglers must be got rid of, you understand. And that in every department! Such endless vistas have opened out before me today, It was not all clear to me until now, but now I will right everything. It is the young, vigorous banner-bearers we must seek, my friends; we must have now captains for all the outposts.
Sounds mighty fucking familiar.

Stockmann was a Public Death Officer. The direct hellfather of ALL modern Captains At The Outposts.

So the WoSovirus first entered the Public Death profession in 1900, then remained latent for a century as it spread around the world. Finally in 2005, after complete infection, the WoSovirus turned the infected officials into satanic genocidal monsters.

Elon, you've got my attention now.

Elon is living in a tiny house. Of course it's a stunt, but he seems to be part serious as well. The house rings all sorts of bells.

First, the exterior looks something like my actual house, which is the same size but has a less efficient floor plan. I think my house was a kit, not a prefab. There are a dozen originally identical units around town.

Elon's house is built by Boxabl, and we can assume Elon has an interest in the company. They call this model the Casita.

Here's the stronger bell. The Casita has the same plan as the Homette, built by a Texas company in the late '40s. The Homette was fully prefab and modular, just like the Casita. Same name, same house, same construction method, same plan.

I discussed the Homette here, then "built" one for Polistra to live in.

The original Homette. (This was the "double" model, just two units jammed together.)

Homette's interior:

Casita's interior:

Homette's floor plan:

Casita's floor plan:

= = = = =

Elon is bringing back a system that was common around 1910. Here's a Sears ad showing how their prefabs were constructed:

And here's how the Casita is constructed:

Elon is continuing his tradition of RESTORING old inventions. He has a misplaced reputation as a revolutionary. In fact he's a counter-revolutionary. 1910 cars, 1910 housing construction.

Sidenote on price: Boxabl lists the price, without transportation and assembly and lot, as $50k. This includes all the appliances. Aladdin's 1917 catalog had similar sized houses (kit, not modular) for about $500, NOT including any plumbing or wiring or appliances. $500 would be $10k after inflation. Seems about right, accounting for the equipment and kit vs modular.

  Tired of fadeouts

So far, every single one of the 'data-gatherers' has faded into false flags or orthodoxy. Jeffrey Tucker is the latest. He started out strong, focusing on the direct line from Bush Junior to Trump, and accurately showing Trump as an eager participant. Now he has fallen back into standard Repooflican territory, treating Trump as an innocent victim.

The first fade was Art Robinson, who had been a strong and steady independent voice in the "global warming" hoax. He was also the world's best authority on IMMUNITY. He decided to run for the Oregon legislature, and self-silenced on the whole topic, sticking to standard Repooflican ZERO TAX shit. He won the office, and has been silently participating in the craziest state of all. His presence doesn't make any difference. A pint of wine in a barrel of shit is still shit.

The German movement went beyond fading, switching sides openly by following RFK.

= = = = =

If you're through fighting and want to move on to other subjects or just plain life, that's FINE. Tell us you're done, let others pick up the torch, don't degrade the story. Quit cleanly.

But these gatherers are either turning silent without explanation, or actively degrading and pulling the story into fake territory. Not forgivable.

  Who's imaginative?

The reluctant rehab of Neanderthals continues.

A bone with angular markings was found at a site in Germany. The archeologists grudgingly admit:
The parallel and regularly spaced engravings have comparable dimensions and were very probably created in a uniform approach suggesting an intentional act.
Looks more like a map than an artwork. A stylized representation of rivers and valleys. (Meanders and thals.) Or it could be a family tree. Or an ideogram. Many alphabets, from Korea to Ireland, look like this. Or a cipher. Or a coin with a specified value.

Given the size, I'd guess it was a family medal, to be worn on a leather thong. Something like a coat of arms.

Come on, archeologists! Show half as much imagination as the Neanderthals!

More broadly... Most archeological assumptions miss PURPOSE. They see everything as art or decoration. Decoration is luxury. Carving is hard work. Patterns denote PURPOSE. Language, signaling status, transfer of value.

  Carter Mether

Back in 2019 I started portraying USA as a randomly moving meth-addled sword-swinger.

= = = = = START REPRINT:

We are suiciding ourselves by smashing work and value and life. Russia's hypersonic weapons aren't going to attack us. They're only an attempt to CONTAIN our maniacal psychopathic omnicide while we finish suiciding.

Graphic sidenote: Previously I'd shown USA STRONG as a musclebound headless weightlifter. I think a meth-addled sword-swinging zombie is more appropriate now. We're noisily dead. Lots of motion and energy, no work done, no order created. We are North Chorea.

= = = = = END REPRINT.

Later I showed the same character trying to control the world, only to find that most countries have stopped listening:

The meth image turns out to apply in another direction, centered on SLEEP DEPRIVATION.

Jeffrey Tucker's account of Carter Mecher and associates emphasizes their sleepless burning drive to destroy.

Sleep deprivation is the key. Innate psychopaths are total destroyers from birth to death. They sleep beautifully, cradled in Satan's talons. Normal humans can be temporarily turned into psychopaths by loss of sleep and constant forced chaos. Drill instructors and cult leaders have ALWAYS known how to create the transformation.

Meth does the same thing, and adds another element to the picture of the Public Death Demons. Methies are obsessed with CLEANING. They scratch imaginary fleas and germs from their skin, and they spend hours sorting laundry and cleaning surfaces. The gestures are automatic, even when there's no actual laundry or brooms or sponges.

Now see this. A public death zombie finishes locking down a restaurant. Zombie stands in a victory pose for a moment, then starts OBSESSIVELY HAND-WASHING. The hand-washing morphs into a demonic victory dance. Tweaking.

= = = = =

OCD and psychopath are natural tendencies in some people. They don't necessarily go together. Sleep deprivation induces both of these tendencies TOGETHER in people who might not have exhibited them otherwise.

  Darwin and Delta

Reading the continued fear and panic about the Delta Variant of the Haute-Couture Branded Virus, I'm seeing how Darwinism helps to form this holocaust.

Media and Fauci have persuaded everyone that the new mutation is EXPONENTIALLY SUPERDEADLY AND REQUIRES 9999999999999 TIMES MORE LOCKDOWN AND MUZZLE THAN THE ORIGINAL VERSION.

Viruses always mutate. Each mutation is weaker than the previous, and easier for our immune systems to handle.

Larger Fact:

ALL MUTATIONS lead to a less successful organism. From the viewpoint of a virus, less successful means less deadly.

This is perfectly well known by real biologists. Several attempts to create evolution in a Petri dish have failed after millions of generations, because ALL MUTATIONS ARE BAD.

But the public voice of Darwin still tells us that every mutation improves the organism.

Evolution can only work if a significant number of mutations make the critter stronger and more adaptive. Therefore Darwinists must claim falsely that mutations are often good for the mutating organism.

Footnote: I've discussed other contributing streams. OCD. Wellness and testing. Education by theory instead of experience.

  Breaking the shared lie

It's EXTREMELY RARE to see a fact-gatherer who gets the facts right about Trump. The shared lie is nearly universal:

"Trump wanted to obstruct Fauci but (somehow) couldn't."

As always, one side says this was a bad thing, the other side says it was a good thing.

It's brazenly obvious nonsense. A president can fire or silence a bureaucrat whenever he wants. Trump was the fastest firer of all. He was a master of blackmail and extortion, learned from the Supreme Master Roy Cohn.

Trump DIDN'T fire or silence Fauci, and he didn't stop Carter Mecher. Therefore he was working WITH Fauci, not AGAINST Fauci.

Galen Franciscus breaks the Shared Lie and states the simple plain truth:

Lockdowns were THE great test of character in our time.

Trump failed.

Nothing else he did in his presidency matters now. Allowing the lockdowns defines him.

Then when it was clear that his base disagreed with him, he tried to play both sides like a coward, rather than strongly using the power of his office to fight state governors who were violating basic constitutional rights.
On the fucking dot.

Trump ALWAYS plays both sides, and ALWAYS serves Deepstate. His chaos is precisely calculated to destroy civilization.

Jeffrey Tucker, who has also broken out of the lie, sharpens the truth:

I agree. It was worse than allowing; he pushed the button, and kept pushing it.

Later: Well, I spoke too soon. Today Tucker is adopting the shared lie, assuming that Trump was out of the loop, didn't understand epidemics, and was "ill-served by advisors". Nope. Trump is never out of the power loop.

Aside from all specifics, Trump is part of the Boomer generation. He's three years older than I am. His parents were rich but not isolated aristocrats. He lived in NYC and experienced the same REAL epidemics that the rest of us did. So he SHOULD have learned the same things about immunity, and SHOULD have been able to distinguish fake from real. He pushed the fake because that's where the POWER is.

  Reprint on storage

Following on previous item about Toyota's learning, here's a reprint from 2019. The reprint is especially relevant in light of this year's idiotic repetition of fake "power outages".

= = = = = START REPRINT:

Noticed a badly done graph on corporate bankruptcies at ZH. The graph doesn't adjust the assets for inflation, so it's useless.

There's an even stupider description on a currently relevant item. One of PGE's bankruptcies happened in 2001, as a result of "drought that decreased hydroelectric output."

No. Southern California is ALWAYS in a drought, some years worse than others. When your CONSTANT CONDITION is low rainfall, you need to add ENOUGH reservoir capacity to keep your generators going.

PGE failed to do that. They chose** Gaian craziness over civilization. Instead of building more dams, they REMOVED some of the existing dams, pretending to replace the input with wind and solar.

Wind and solar CANNOT power civilization because they aren't steady. Wind is actually COUNTER-steady. Wind is weakest exactly when you NEED extra electricity.

Civilization requires steady and reliable power sources.

I've made this point before. Storage is the heart of civilization.

When you have a steady supply of power and material and labor, you can start building a SURPLUS of value. A good season can be stored to get you through a bad season. Grain elevators, oil storage tanks, dams, savings accounts.

In basic economic terms, civilization happens when you have a reliable SURPLUS of value. The SURPLUS can be used to build new farms and factories, and to build better and more beautiful cities and parks and schools. Without the SURPLUS, civilization collapses.

When you're constantly behind the curve, living hand to mouth or deep in debt, every slight perturbation kills you.

Western debtism guarantees that the whole system is constantly on the negative side of the ledger, constantly relying on bankers to supply loans or the central bank to print money. Just-in-time inventory, wind and solar "power", zero interest on savings, arbitrage instead of grain storage. Civilization is impossible, and independent decisions are impossible. NYC controls everything.

Sharia and Soviet systems are firmly planted on the SURPLUS side, with government taking part of the surplus to fund its operations. Monopolizing the surplus is prohibited. In Sharia the prohibition is cultural and legal; in Soviet the stock traders simply don't exist so they can't slaughter the world.

= = = = =

** Footnote on chose Gaian craziness. PGE can't claim that it was meekly obeying EPA genocide. PGE is big enough to buy regulators and break rules with impunity. It breaks all other rules all the time. When it follows Gaia instead of rationality, the choice is voluntary and intentional.

= = = = = END REPRINT.

New sidenote: PGE has been operating in gangster mode for a long time. When Kucinich faced down an attempt to privatize Cleveland's municipal power system in 1977, the buyer and blackmailer was PGE.

Wolf Richter shows what happens when one company LEARNS FROM EXPERIENCE:
The problem wasn’t lack of demand, but lack of supply. At the end of April, Ford announced that it would likely cut global production in Q2 by half. The entire first half was marred by production cuts at various plants. On June 30, Ford announced further production cuts for July and August. The culprit is the same every time: semiconductor shortages and parts shortages.

Toyota, paragon of just-in-time inventory, blew everyone away by having stockpiled chips.

Following the Fukushima disaster in 2011, which massively tangled up its just-in-time supply chain, Toyota demanded from its suppliers that they stockpile two to six months of semiconductors of all kinds for Toyota.
We "learned" from Toyota's JIT crap and turned JIT into an axiom. Any company that wanted to RAISE SHARE VALUE had to eliminate every aspect of normal business. No storage, no savings, no learning, no experience, no factories, no production, no profit, no employees. Just raw abstract math and infinite debt.

Will we learn from the lockdowns? No.

  Bite-size wisdom

Lately I've been including episodes of 'Calling All Detectives' in my bedtime playlist. This was a SHORT and LOW-BUDGET 1948 series. Each episode was just 8 minutes. There was a pause after the first 2, where the station would insert ads.

I think** the stations were also given a question about a detail in the plot, to be asked during the pause. Then the stations could run a contest for best guess afterward, filling out the standard 15 minute slot. This interactive material isn't contained in the clips as recorded on, but it's implied in each episode.

No music, exactly three sound effects (car accelerating, footsteps, paper rustling) and one actor reading all the parts. Female characters were silent.

Despite the extreme cheapness, the writers were excellent. They packed a full story into 8 minutes, with character development, plot, and moral. Each episode feels like a half hour.

In this episode, the detective is called simultaneously by two high-dollar stamp collectors who are accusing each other of theft. He uses constants and variables expertly, determining that a crooked stamp dealer is playing these two against each other to manipulate prices.

At the end the narrator says:

When two clients accuse each other, always look for the hand of a third party.

Excellent advice. We won't hear this moral today, because the entire world is based on Symmetrical Scapegoating.

Nevertheless, the rule is universal. When you're supposed to argue about a specific question, you know the REAL question is elsewhere. Deepstate uses this trick in every possible subject.

= = = = =

** Footnote on quiz:

I'm convinced that I read about this interactive quiz somewhere, but now I can't find it in online descriptions of the program. The narrator does mention it at the end of each episode.

= = = = =

Later after more listening:

This episode was recorded off the air at WGN, not from the transcription disk. It includes the quiz question and answer, plus a bonus question not related to the program. (What was SS Van Dine's real name?) Prize for the bonus question was $180, about a month's basic wages.

And this one includes a remarkable 'extended conceit'. The case deals with a poet who forced his heirs to speak in rhyme until they figured out the location of the fortune. The executor of the estate was recording them day and night with a wire recorder, so they couldn't break the terms; and the detective had to speak in rhyme as well.
