Three Washington State University instructors are being accused of violating students’ First Amendment rights by banning terms such as “illegal alien,” “male” and “female” in the classroom. Students were told they would risk losing points or failing a class if they repeatedly use terms deemed oppressive or hateful in discussions or assignments. Grumbling and growling about an idiot establishment columnist who seemed genuinely surprised when Biden decided not to run. Columnist gave some bizarre mechanistic reasons about Biden's positioning or whatever.

No surprise at all. Biden was never an executive, and he has made it pathetically clear that the ONLY thing he is now is a devastated parent. He never acted like he wanted the Presidency. For 8 years he's been completely out of public view, which is extremely abnormal. Typically the VP is the traveling salesman for the P, attending funerals and disasters so the P can concentrate better. In this admin, the P has done the traveling as well as the concentrating. Among current officials, Kerry is the only one who acts like he's running for P.

Sad dad is NOT a qualification for executive work. As I've noted before, only Trump is auditioning for the properly defined job of Chief Executive. He describes problems and offers hard decisions aiming to solve the problems. That's what an executive does.

In business, the exec's decisions are supposed to strengthen the company, increase its profit, so its employees will have a better life. In government, the exec's decisions are supposed to strengthen the country, increase its security, so its people will have a better life.

NO. WAIT. That's hopelessly old-fashioned. Modern corporate executives don't pursue those goals, and modern national execs don't either.

U.S. District Judge[sic] David Bunning released Davis from jail Tuesday on the condition that she does not interfere with her deputies issuing the licenses. Bunning said he was satisfied that the Rowan County Clerk’s Office would comply with his order.

Davis's supporters are treating this as a victory. Sheer nonsense. It's pure surrender, pure defeat.


There are only two choices.

(1) Work for Satan and obey Satan totally.

The only way to bring down Satan is to remove your talents from Satan's jobs and remove your money from Satan's markets. It doesn't feel like fighting but it's the least harmful choice. Anything you do "inside the system" is feeding the system at the expense of your soul.

  Old dumb metaphor, not so dumb.
Natural law proponents continue to describe Satan's morality as 'relative', meaning 'anything goes'. Misses the point badly and dangerously.

In earlier decades the complaint that 'everything is relative' often tacked on an allusion to Einstein, missing Einstein's point as well. General Relativity does NOT mean Whatever, Dude.

In fact the allusion is accurate, but not in the way it was meant. Einstein did say that things look different depending on your frame. If you are in a moving train, paying no attention to the outside, you can do things like dropping a ball or pouring coffee or waving your hands around. To you, these actions will look and feel absolutely normal. The ball and coffee will move straight downward, and your hands won't feel any 'wind' in one direction. But a watcher in the stationary frame will see your moves PLUS your horizontal motion, and they will look strange.

Satan's rules are the opposite of sloppy and tolerant. His rules are precise and absolute and CONSTANTLY MOVING. This is why they appear blurry or sloppy to an observer in a stationary moral frame, and this is why they appear normal to riders on Satan's train.

Fine example in this week's case of the Kentucky court clerk who lives in a stationary Natural Law frame of reference. She sees clearly that Satan's rules are roaring away from Natural Law. She sees that the "laws" of this former "nation", and even the alleged "president" of this former "nation", agreed with Natural Law on this point, continuously until a few months ago. But Satan's riders don't see the change. Within their frame the CURRENT set of rules is the ONLY possible set of rules. Former conditions do not exist. Result is predictable. Stand in the way of a moving train and you will be squashed. Totally destroyed.

Fussy linguistic footnote: I really shouldn't say 'stationary moral frame' and 'moving moral frame'. The former is redundant, the latter is impossible. Morality is STATIONARY BY DEFINITION. It is the luminiferous ether. It is the accumulated results of 100,000 years of painful experimentation to determine what Nature/God wants. The Old Testament is the lab notebook. Nothing has changed since the notebook was written. We have not 'evolved' in any important way since then, so the rules for SURVIVAL haven't evolved either. MORALITY IS SURVIVAL. Rules that change are NOT MORALITY and NOT SURVIVAL. They are SPECIES SUICIDE.

  A genuinely new idea!
We rarely hear new ideas or thoughts today. 99.999999999% of the action in the idea arena is brutal bloody destruction and reversal of old ideas that have worked perfectly for 10,000 years.

Here's a genuinely new idea in the area of Real Justice. I'm not sure what it would mean in practice, and there's certainly no way the so-called "court"[sic] system will implement the idea. Possibly the source of the idea has connections who can make it work....

Pauline Abrego lost her son, Mathew-Michael Baroni, and two granddaughters in a crash earlier this month and now she feels the man who faces vehicular manslaughter charges for their deaths is responsible to carry out her son's legacy.

Mike Baroni and his two daughters, eight-year-old Madilyn and six-year-old Molly were killed by a wrong way driver on September 12. Ryan Turner, 27, admits he was drinking before he hit Baroni's vehicle. He's now facing three counts of vehicular manslaughter for their deaths.

“He loved us so much. He loved everybody,” Pauline said. “His life was his children and his family and being the person, the best, he just, he loved people. Now that he's gone, that's what this boy has. This is the legacy that he's accepted by making that decision he made, that's what's left for him,” she said.

In traditional systems of retributive justice a legacy isn't part of the retribution. Still, it's an interesting and rare addition to our stock of CIVILIZED ideas.
