An article on the SCIENCE March sounds sensible but misses the point massively and lethally.

For clarity, I'm using SCIENCE (caps) the same way the marchers are using it. Real science (lc) does exist. Engineering and medical fields are mostly real science, which means OBSERVING REALITY and DEVELOPING SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS.

Look about you. Take hold of the things that are here. Let them talk to you. Talk to them.

Taking Sarewitz seriously suggests that values, interests, and interpretive frames should be at the center of policy formation. Here, the march organizers offer little help. As they portray the world, there are only two kinds of people: pro-science and anti-science. Likewise, there are only two ways of acting: on the basis of science—facts, truth, data, evidence—or unscientifically, in accordance with ideology, self-interest, or mere caprice. “Political decision-making that impacts the lives of Americans and the world at large,” the march website declares, “should make use of peer-reviewed evidence and scientific consensus, not personal whims and decrees.”

Peer review and consensus ARE personal whims and decrees of the worst type. Both are determined by a hereditary monarchy within each discipline.

Evidence-based policy is important, and science should certainly play a role in politics. Yet more and better data is hardly enough to ensure equality and justice. Societies employ science in accordance with their leading values, interests, and power structures. If March for Science participants want science to advance the causes of equality and justice, they will need to help create a society in which those values predominate.

Sounds halfway sensible. You need to understand how the system works if you want it to work for your benefit. Parkinson's Laws, as interpreted for science by CP Snow.

But the goal is still strictly counterscientific. Equality and justice are opposites, and equality is a perfectly anti-scientific goal. The only way to achieve total equality is total death, and SCIENCE is working amazingly hard and fast toward total death.

When you examine purpose, you find that government and SCIENCE are opposite.

A functional government must first of all SERVE THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY. It must use negative feedback to balance the interests of various factions, and it must allow smaller modules to operate with their own feedback. A government must also recognize that PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT in ways that often correlate with genes, which means that modules must also correlate geographically with genes. The outermost module should help the inner modules to protect their contents against aggressors and invaders and criminals, and shouldn't otherwise interfere in their inner dealings. This is a perfectly scientific (lc) concept, used constantly in biology and engineering and programming. Life works this way, and every complex manmade device works this way.

SCIENCE serves nobody at all. SCIENCE is a pack of delusional maniacs who can't perceive ANYTHING outside the screeching voices in their own heads. The voices in SCIENCE'S head are driving SCIENCE toward total slaughter. The biggest project in SCIENCE is LHC, which is EXPLICITLY DESIGNED TO OBLITERATE THE UNIVERSE. Other favored projects are designed to kill large numbers of innocent people. "Global Warming" kills poor people to increase the wealth of bankers and the power of Michael Mann. "Endangered Species" wipes out ranchers and forests and entire states through wildfires and floods. Embryonic Stem Cells kills lots of unborn babies for no gain at all. Economics impoverishes entire countries to enrich a few psychopaths.

In other words, SCIENCE is the most perfectly criminal organization ever imagined. A sane government must protect its people from aggressive criminals, including SCIENCE.

Nature builds walls for one primary purpose.

Create order inside the walls, leave chaos outside.

The cell pulls in disorganized chemical elements, uses them to build intelligence and genomic culture and infinitely ordered complexity inside, then dumps the waste products outside.



Multi-celled organisms have systems to process input chemicals and distribute them to the cells, and separate systems to gather up the waste products from cells and excrete them to the outside world.

This pattern repeats in a pre-1970 American city. Each house maintains strict order inside, pulling in food and fuel from the outside and expelling trash and shit to the outside. The city has systems to distribute food and fuel, and separate systems to gather and excrete the waste products.

Pre-1970 American houses and apartment buildings repeated the pattern on a smaller scale. A front entrance for the inhabitants to enter and leave on their food (=money) gathering expeditions, and a separate service hall for trash and laundry delivery.



In houses as in animals, the output system was larger and more complicated than the input system.

After 1970 America broke the natural pattern. We decided that there is no outside, no back hall, no grade entry, no area where chaos is allowed, no system to gather and excrete chaos. Inside and outside must be equally orderly. Cities lost alleys and detached garages and chinatowns; apartments have only front entrances. Environmentalism ran parallel to this decision. Stop littering, eliminate landfills, eliminate "dirty" factories that provide jobs for "dirty" Deplorables.

We have devolved from vertebrates to sea squirts. Mouth and anus are the same opening. Unsurprisingly this new arrangement doesn't work well. We have defeated the whole purpose of walls and organisms and cities. Chaos isn't gone, it's everywhere.

Was this part of the same movement that now tries to eliminate walls entirely? The modernist architects certainly belonged to the same globalist caste as the Sorosians, but I don't see any direct cultural link or ancestry.

Headline: Scientists flee crumbling Venezuela

Even "scientists" who ordinarily prefer socialism are blaming socialism for Venezuela's problems. Modern "scientists" are wrong about EVERYTHING, and their preference for socialism is wrong by their own standards. GOOD science (medicine and engineering and industrial technology) got plenty of support under Russian and Cuban socialism. Modern "scientists" hate GOOD science even more than they hate civilization, though that's a high bar. Their love of socialism is just leftover hippieshit romanticism.

An even more fundamental problem is that people trying to conduct basic research cannot secure grants because funding priorities are dictated by the government. ‘The government decides what projects the government is going to support, or what line of research it is going to support,’ Bonalde explains. He says most of the time scientists cannot even apply for such funding because the government dictates that this money goes to public projects, such as river cleanups and other social or community initiatives.

Normally modern "scientists" insist on ONLY government funding, because according to "scientists" that's the only way to guarantee proper "science". Letting businesses or citizens fund science might accidentally lead to a harmless or non-genocidal invention that would fail to destroy the entire universe. CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN!!!!!!!! ONLY OMNICIDE IS PERMISSIBLE!!!!!

In this case they say the PROBLEM is public funding, because Venezuela prefers to put money into the kind of Sorosian projects that "scientists" always tell us we should be putting MORE money into. River cleanups = Carbon Cult. Best possible use of money. Social initiatives = Smashing civilization. Best possible use of money.

Perfect dyslogic.

The real problem with Venezuela, as I noted historically, is NOT socialism. It's just total idiocy. Chavez picked up the slogans of socialism from Cuba but didn't pick up common sense or proper nationalist thinking. He let Exxon run the country for the benefit of Exxon, with a big vig for Chavez.

  Coulda hada Gosbank
Oddly hopeful dream this morning. Sort of followed Dmitri Orlov, sort of paralleled Russia's collapse and rebuild. It was in the not-too-distant future, after our collapse and rebuild. We were driving a car produced by local factories that were able to function because the federal regulatory structure and Free Trade and the stock market no longer existed. The car was small and simple, returning to the simple side of the '50s in some ways. Resembled the original Rambler or Crosley.



There's no reason why small or mid-size factories can't build cars or computers or anything. We did it before, we could do it again, if the pressures of globalism were pulled out. Globalism concentrates all activity in one type of work and one city. Graybill's Law.

We could do it again, after the federal monster collapses. It just takes a determination to equalize usefulness among people and among cities. Yeah, from each according to his abilities. American "socialists" like Freestuff Sanders always focus on the second part of the sentence, but the first half is the real core and purpose of socialism. Putting it another way, socialism works where it emphasizes the ability side of the equation, fails where it emphasizes the need side.

The Soviet system (after Stalin died!) accomplished it through central planning by Gosbank and Stroybank. Capital was allocated to keep local industries and local farms running, to create relatively appropriate jobs for all types of people. Each business was expected to operate at a profit, to generate surplus value. The state depended on a percentage of this profit for its tax, so it was motivated by profit. Needless to say, there was no stock market, no derivatives, no HFT, no LBO, no CEO bonuses for killing entire companies. CEOs were rewarded for maximizing jobs.

We had the kernel of Gosbank in the TVA and BPA. Both were expected to operate at a profit (and still do!) and both were expected to allocate their power to create industries and farms. Their Gosbankiness was destroyed by EPA Terrorist Army, but they still exist.

We could do it again. Will we? I doubt it.

Tech sidenote: The dream car was simple and small, but not crude. The interior looked and felt sort of like a Simca Aronde, with a crisp and precise column shift. If you're aiming for max simplicity you don't want a column shift. More parts and labor to build, harder to maintain, less reliable. But this local factory wasn't going for max simple, it was focusing on max SKILL. The column shift was a point of pride for the workers, who had perfected a normally faulty mechanism. HUMAN CAPITAL IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CAPITAL.

Footnote on 'from each': The second part of the sentence as usually quoted is flat wrong. Here's the relevant passage from the 1977 Soviet Constitution:

The state exercises control over the measure of labour and of consumption in accordance with the principle of socialism: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his work". It fixes the rate of taxation on taxable income.

Socially useful work and its results determine a person's status in society. By combining material and moral incentives and encouraging innovation and a creative attitude to work, the state helps transform labour into the prime vital need of every Soviet citizen.

The Obama administration is planning to issue a sweeping directive telling every public school district in the country to allow transgender students to use the bathrooms that match their gender identity.

When businesses and agencies are forced to take specific steps to "accomodate" ENTITIES THAT DO NOT EXIST, we're talking about religion. Trans things DO NOT EXIST. Some people are deluded into believing that they can change their gender. They are factually and scientifically and biologically wrong.

Still trying to figure out why the R establishment goes Exorcist-Tourette whenever Trump is mentioned. It can't be solely about borders. Buchanan and Perot threatened Free Trade and Open Borders before, and got demonized and destroyed; but the FEROCITY of the anti-Trump spew is several orders of magnitude greater than the anti-Perot noise. The monsters at NR just can't stop.

One word in the latest toxic vomit gives a strong clue.

Donald Trump didn’t suddenly change in the past few days, weeks or months. He’s the same guy he always was, the same guy that most of us in the conservative movement and GOP have been staunchly opposing for the past year. Note the standard long string of cusswords. Most of those cusswords fit all candidates for President. We've turned the office into a crazy mess, and you have to be obnoxious, dishonest, narcissistic, etc, to seek it.

One exception.

ERRATIC.

The Establishment requires candidates who are perfectly reliable in their IDEOLOGICAL ORTHODOXY. Candidates must obey and re-transmit the Party Beacon over and over.



Ideology is RELIABLE. Theories are RELIABLE. Experimentation is ERRATIC. Try something, see if it works, then try something else when it doesn't work.

Theoreticians in science or politics always see experimenters as ERRATIC.

FDR was constantly described as ERRATIC.

In some simple cases a reliable constant theory can serve well, as long as Nature doesn't throw a curve. Nature is erratic. PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT. A complex system like a nation is hugely erratic. The only way to adjust or repair a nation is by experimentation. It helps if you know what your goal is, know which levers to pull, know which changes are more likely to approach the goal. The only way to know those things is by previous experimentation. Using those guidelines to inform new fiddling, you can finally determine which parts need replacing and which parts need to be removed permanently.

Fortunately MOST of the needed experimentation on this nation has already been done. FDR's successful work is especially relevant to our current mess, and we can use his lab notebook as guidance.

Given a choice between RELIABLY destroying the country versus ERRATICALLY trying to repair the country, I'll take the latter.

Well-known fact: Commies use people as weapons. Every new advance toward infinite tyranny is vanguarded by a new 'protected class'.

The trick began in the '50s and '60s with good old Rosa Parks and James Meredith. Blacks were driven into colleges and workplaces where they would fail, so the teachers and bosses could be smashed as racists.

In the '60s women became the weapon. Women were driven into professions and situations where they would fail, so the bosses and men around them could be smashed as sexists.

Satan is accelerating the firing rate. Used to be one weapon per decade, now it's one weapon per year.

Last year Commies drove homosexuals to seek "marriages", which most of them hadn't really wanted, so court clerks and governors could be smashed as homophobes.

Now the Commies are doing something brand new: instead of simply USING people of a certain type or tendency, they are MANUFACTURING the weapons. Forcing young kids to "identify male" or however it's said, and then putting the unfortunate kids through actual surgery to permanently weaponize them. After this irreversible MIRVing, the weapons can then be forced into restrooms or gym classes where they will fail, so the non-MIRVed kids and teachers can be smashed as transphobes.

The most explicit weaponizing, of course, is Muslims. Starting in the '80s we've created APs like al Qaeda and ISIS to make Islam look horrible to everyone including other Muslims. We've killed a million Muslims as a desirable side-effect (blood is a gourmet meal for our aristocrats) but the real goal is to demoralize, disarm and decorticate non-Muslims in EU/US/UK. We train and arm and fund ISIS, which then kills lots of people in Syria and Iraq and EU/US/UK. We then blame those deaths on Islam and create lots of propaganda against Islam in general. When ordinary people respond to this propaganda by attacking or even QUESTIONING local Muslims, we SMASH them as hatecrimers and bigots.

Commies always discard a weapon after using it, just like ejecting shells from the chamber. Each type or tendency finds that their Heroic Proletarian Victory fades after it has helped Satan to commit genocide.

Just realized: This is perfectly inconsistent.

With weapons that are NOT manufactured or modified by Commies, the Commies always insist that the weapon itself is at fault. Removing the weapons will remove the problem, because as we know ALL HUMANS ARE IDENTICAL. So far GMO looks clean, but health effects can be long delayed.

10 Trans is unique, and trans could be the breaking point for the handful of yoots who are still capable of some slight reasoning. The falseness of Trans is NOT ARGUABLE. You don't need background, graphs, or logic. Every atheist biology book will tell you that the sex chromosomes are in every cell and can't be altered by operations or hormones or magic words. Trans is AUTOMATICALLY AND IMMEDIATELY WRONG, no matter what source you consult.

Why is this important? Because young fuckheads WILL encounter this simple fact in biology class. They WILL have to answer questions on tests. One or two of them may possibly stop and think for a brief moment.....

Sidenote: 4 Race is a construct is equally false but much harder to see. Race is permanent but not binary, and the usual categories are partly meaningful and partly arbitrary. Almost everyone is a mix of various ethnicities, and the legal or cultural categories often shift to include or exclude your mix. Nevertheless, your own ethnic mix was set in stone when the sperm entered the egg. You can't do what Dolezal claimed to do.

  Maybe not a mirror
The current egregious mess on campuses is almost but not quite a mirror image of the 1968 egregious mess. There's a basic difference that I can't quite tease out. See if I can pull it out by writing.

In 1968 I was in the middle of the hippieshit side of an egregious mess at Bowling Green. In the previous year a general strike by faculty had led to the resignation of president MacDonald, a solid old-fashioned conservative who enjoyed touring campus at night, literally beating the bushes to drive out PDA. The faculty were not hard-left; they were pretty much normal LBJ Democrats.

MacDonald was replaced by a soft-left Ivy League type named William Travers Jerome The Third. Jerome The Third was a direct descendant of Churchill's nympho American mother. (Hmm. Seems familiar today for some reason.)

In my first year the draft came down hard, and hippieshits started demonstrating. Down deep the hippieshits were right. Vietnam was a total betrayal of American national interest. But we weren't interested in national interest, to put it mildly. Our demonstrations started AFTER Nixon was elected, because he promised to end the war. Everyone knew that Nixon was evil and LBJ was angelic because the war was evil and ending the war was angelic. Perfectly logical. We hippieshits didn't stop to think that we were simply serving the Democrat Party, which HATED HATED HATED Nixon more than anything else in the world because Nixon existed. Raw personal bitterness. Nothing deeper. We hippies were immersed in the zeitgeist, and the zeitgeist HATED HATED HATED Nixon, so we HATED HATED HATED Nixon.

The soft-left Jerome The Third turned out to be just as conservative as Old MacDonald when the rubber hit the road. "I need some muscle over here!" He called out the Phi Delts (jock frat) to bash some hippie heads, and the Phi Delts happily obliged.

Okay, there's the confused sort-of-mirror image.

Try to condense it:

In '68 the Left was driving both students and faculty, and the admin was confused.

In '15 the Left is driving both students and faculty, and the admin is confused.

Well, maybe it's not a mirror at all. In terms of named participants, pretty much the same.

Within the university only the jocks have switched sides.

Outside, though the named sides are the same, the real alignment has changed drastically. In '68 the Left was anti-banker and pro-Russia, while the Right was pro-banker and anti-Russia. In '15 the bankers and Russia have switched, so the Left (rationally for once!) is now pro-banker and anti-Russia. Unfortunately the idiot Right is STILL pro-banker and anti-Russia, which means it's now identical to the Left.

So that's it. Inside the university, basically the same. Outside, the Left has consolidated its power and owns both "sides". A large part of the people are NOT owned, but they have no support or representation within the power structure so they don't exist.

Language note: Think about the evil "I need some muscle over here." Resorting INSTANTLY to raw force, and calling it muscle, is the habit of a Mafia executive or more likely a private security executive. Normal cops are accustomed to calling in extra force when they're in actual danger, but this wasn't actual danger. Normal teachers, even hard-left teachers, don't think or talk like this. You talk this way when you're accustomed to having a dozen thugs under your direct command, and when you're accustomed to protecting a politician or celebrity from prying eyes.

Narratives supplied. In legalistic terms, the "study" is trusting the defendant's testimony. Normal academic or insurance industry studies of accidents are far more careful to find ACTUAL FUCKING FACTS, but we don't need any steenkin FACTS when the defendants are COOOOOOOOL.

Looks like the latest flank in the Deep State's total war against civilization is a focus on police "sexual misconduct".

We've got a big glob of this toxic shit running in Spokane, as the unimaginably evil mediasatans join bloodstained hands with Bloomberg's Best Bitchboy Condon and his hypersatanic "city" "council" in "investigating" a party among cops.

To anyone with a minimal grasp on reality, the story is drably predictable. Everybody got drunk, somebody had sex, the drunk female decided afterward that the drunk male wasn't as Coooooooool as he seemed, drunk female filed charges. The rest is automatic.   Orlov the pollyanna
Several years ago Dmitri Orlov laid out a dismal scenario. When USA STRONG collapses, it won't collapse 'softly' as Russia did. Russia had a number of advantages. Social cohesion, natural collectiveness, low reliance on money, high reliance on self-sufficient labor.

Russians love Russia unconditionally. Americans don't love America. We love a fast-changing portfolio of vivid delusions.

Thinking about the vector diagram that Polistra drew this morning, the picture gets a lot grimmer.

Russians are not delusional. By nature they are depressive and tragic = REALISTIC. When superpower status went away, normalcy took over fairly smoothly. It was interrupted by Yeltsin stupidly hiring Sachs to impose Goldman, but that didn't work.

Americans are manic. Prone to delusion. The delusion of being an unopposed bully was magnificently intoxicating. Crack plus Flakka. When this needle is yanked out, we will be MAGNIFICENTLY SICK.

When an addict goes into withdrawal, his body fights itself in a dozen ways. If he is internally strong and realistic, he has a chance. Even without resilience, external support and external restraint can carry him through the short period of convulsions.

USA STRONG has blown those chances. We are maximally non-resilient right now. Symmetrical scapegoating has divided us into the R team and D team. All problems are the other team's fault. Simultaneously our youngsters, naturally "fickle inquisitors", have been trained and exercised in the arts of inquisition by universities and Zuckerberg. And we've blown the chance for external support by bombing everyone except Israel.

This doesn't sound like Russia 1990.

This sounds like China 1968.

The delusional and incompetent Great Leap Forward had failed dramatically. China's yoots had been trained in Inquisition by Party education. Madame Mao militarized them and turned them against pretty much everybody. Result: ten years of pure chaos.

Thinking about ZIRP and NIRP. For some reason my elderly so-called "mind" forgot the initials in ZIRP and NIRP, and substituted 'return' for 'rate'.

BLAMO! Got it. Diminishing RETURNS, zero RETURNS, negative RETURNS.

ZIRP/NIRP is nothing new. In fact it's an extreme latecomer among Chosen crimes. In MANY other areas of life we've gone through these stages:


1. Normal civilization. Activists don't exist. Activist effort below zero.



2. Activists are triggered by elite desire for money and power. Elites tell activists to start "reforming" normal civilization.



3. Activists work harder. For a while, typically a decade, civilization appears to be improving.... at least for the target groups defined by the elites.



4. Activists respond to the real-looking change by working EVEN HARDER. Vicious circle.



5. The room for change is used up. Things seem to be going wrong! Oh no! Those horrible Other Partyan Denialist Tinfoil Troll Halliburton Bushitler Kipper Koch Koch Koch KKK Koch Koch Koch KKK must be interfering with our efforts! Need to work EVEN HARDER and get CRAZY AND VIOLENT!



6. Because the activists are pushing in crazy directions, civilization starts to rebel. REAL Other-Partyans push hard in the other direction, and often get CRAZY AND VIOLENT as well. Return hits zero.



7. And here we are. Activists continue at MAXED OUT CRAZINESS while the result turns purely negative. We are getting the EXACT OPPOSITE of the NOMINALLY desired result.



8. But this is really the desired result. Total chaos and total death except for the Chosen.

We've seen this curve from normal to diminishing returns to negative returns in all sorts of specific areas.

Pollution: Activists began around 1970. By 1980 some heavy-metal and sulphur pollution was actually cleaned up. By 1990 the activists switched to the Carbon Cult. Now we're seeing increased pollution from forest fires (caused directly or indirectly by environmentalists). As EU switches from clean nuclear to dirty wood and coal, the old heavy-metal pollution is coming back.

Medicine: From 1800 to 1980, vaccines and antibiotics worked miracles. Diseases that had formerly killed or crippled massive numbers of people were eradicated. After 1980 the use of antibiotics continued to increase after the targets had decreased. Cures dropped to zero, then natural adaptation made the microbes unkillable. Now we're in negative territory, creating disease instead of curing.

Car safety: Around 1970 seat belts and related 'soft parts' made a SERIOUS improvement in death rates. Now airbags are killing people instead of saving them. Total software control makes cars unstoppable. Next, total self-driving cars will be self-motivated killers.

Labor unions: Earlier than most. Unions were desperately needed in 1820. By the time they grew strong in 1880, Social Economics was well under way, eliminating the abuses that unions were needed to oppose. By 1930 we hit the neutral point, with some industries still needing unions but most unions colluding with capitalists. Since 1970 we're purely negative. All unions are now pure Mafias, purely running with the Chosen to squash the working class.

Journalism: Admittedly the starting point was already negative here. We haven't had simple honest journalism since the days of town criers and Watchers On The Wall. Nevertheless, around 1970 the activists used Watergate to 'reform' journalism, starting a downward slide into pure falsehood. Around 1990 cable "news" took the curve into raw brain-ripping chaos.

"Civil" "Rights": Activists got serious around 1954, first killing a school system that had worked reasonably well. Around 1965 the activists moved LBJ to replace jobs by welfare, making black males unnecessary. Around 2010 Prophet Sharpton started killing cops, making life completely intolerable for ordinary black families.

(Other branches of "rights": feminism, LGBTQQ2AAPLBCDEFGOOGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ, disabled "rights", inmate "rights" .... run along similar patterns. Some of these started much later and haven't crossed zero yet.)

National defense: We've gone through a couple of major cycles in recent history. After the Wilson insanity we had returned to normal by 1935. In 1941 we responded to a huge attack with a huge war, which is normal. Korea was an oddity, but basically we returned to the normal process of minding our own business and watching the enemy. 1965: LBJ got hyperactive, "reforming" our war effort toward a direction more suitable to elite contractors. After Vietnam, another halfway fallback toward normal. 1990, Bush The Father got hyperaggressive and "reformist" again, leading to an advertised "end of history". We passed zero in 2001 when "defenses" completely failed. We responded to a huge attack by committing national suicide, which is described as "Bush Kept Us Free". Now we're zooming WAY down below the zero line, with constant war that yields more constant war. Genocidal positive feedback.

National economy: As of 1960 we had a properly self-contained economy. We imported a few raw materials but mainly used our own resources, built our own products, paid workers to build, and sold the products to Americans plus some exports. In 1970 the elites started to 'reform' this setup by breaking the gold standard. This made it possible to create money by pure math. In 1999 the last barrier to pure math was broken. Now all the elements of a proper economy are gone, replaced by infinite wealth for the Chosen, who have exclusive control of the math machine.

And finally interest rate. Normal functioning before 1913. Government didn't try to control it, because government understood that interest was a natural feedback mechanism. In 1913 gov't acquired the tools to control interest but didn't seem to realize the potential. It wasn't until 2000 that gov't started to pull down on this natural variable. After that, the typical process took over. At first we had an apparent "benefit" to the foolish part of the population. The activists (called "doves" or "easers" in true Orwellian form) screwed the vise shut. As usual this wasn't enough. Stealing ALL the money and savings and morality and common sense and truth away from honest people is never enough. Never enough. Never enough. The Chosen always must go INFINITELY BEYOND INFINITELY BEYOND INFINITELY BEYOND ALL.

In other parts of life there's a physical limit to the power or material wealth you can steal. In the realm of pure money, now that the math machine is fully assembled and fully autonomous, there's no limit.

  More nonsense about FDR
The Nation is running a big article on a New New Deal. It's hard to tell what they're actually proposing because the article is a jumble of podcasts, hard-to-read light gray fonts, and poetry. But before they fall into the jumble, they misuse FDR. Polistra has to defend the reality of FDR, so here goes....

 When Franklin Roosevelt first conjured a “new deal” for American workers, he was still a candidate. It was June 1932; Roosevelt was accepting the nomination of the Democratic Party. The state of the union was dire. Just as these days we’re shifting to digital, gig-based, flexible work, Roosevelt was witnessing the collapse of the agricultural economy and its replacement by organized industrial work.

Both of the supposed 'shifts' are wrong.

(1) These days we're NOT shifting to digital gig-based flexible work. A small group of knowledge workers are experiencing that shift, as a brief transitional stage before the corporations outsource the work to India or to pure software. This is not a trend. What we are really shifting toward is WalMart and McDonalds. The hugely valuable MyBudget360 blog has been steadily documenting this ACTUAL trend.

(2) FDR wasn't witnessing a sudden shift from agriculture to industry, and his actions were emphatically not designed for such a shift. Ag had been fading, and industry growing, since 1830. The slow fade of ag still continues today, now accompanied by the ferocious murderous scorched-earth destruction of industry by Goldman. What FDR handled was the COLLAPSE OF A BUBBLE IN AGRICULTURE that had begun with Wilson's vast expansion of government food purchases for WW1. And the more obvious collapse of a bubble in stock-driven business, which started after the ag bubble. FDR worked primarily to RESTORE real-value agriculture and secondarily to RESTORE real-value business.

First, simple logic. Epistemology. We DO NOT KNOW anyone's religion. By most evidence, Obama has no religion at all; the fact that he made it to the Presidency is evidence that his only firm belief is a love of power. You don't reach that office intentionally unless your sole purpose in life is raw power. Regardless of evidence, you CANNOT say that the assertion "Obama is Muslim" is INCORRECT, and you CANNOT say that it is CORRECT either. Religion is UNKNOWABLE.

More broadly, any politician's STATEMENTS about his own belief are nonsense. For instance, Bitchboy Boehner claims to be "pro-life" while actually taking bribes from Planned Parenthood.

Second, the question of DO vs TALK. Trump is mainly TALKING ABOUT ACTION. He views the job of an executive as solving problems. He names problems and says what he will DO about the problems. Some of what he proposes to DO is workable, some probably isn't; but he is ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE in TALKING ABOUT ACTION.

All other politicians are talking about talk, or talking about talking about talk.

What "both sides of the aisle" want here is even crazier. They are TALKING ABOUT STOPPING TALK. They are insisting that the proper job of a President is CENSORSHIP.

This belief is perfectly understandable for the media demons. Their entire job is censorship and inquisition. Their sole purpose in life is to silence heresy and torture heretics. No other purpose is comprehensible within their alien calvariums.

This belief is inexcusable from other politicians. They should be solving problems. Instead they are only silencing heresy.

Sort of like the old song.

  Borderless and brainless
Convective thought while listening to Ebola aka BBC breaking down all borders and eliminating all heresy.

The concept of a borderless and brainless empire, as exemplified by EU and USA STRONG, is brand new.

Before the 20th century, empires didn't try to eliminate all distinctions among humans, didn't try to inject MY THOUGHT into YOUR BRAIN. From Persia to Rome to Ottoman to Britain, pre-20 emperors were more like farmers, and colonies were more like livestock. Colonies were expected to provide eggs or milk or meat, but the emperor didn't expect them to become Just Like Me. The emperor understood that Hindoos and Nigerians and Bulgarians had their own ways of doing and thinking, just as chickens and cows and horses have their own ways of doing and thinking. You get more milk and meat when you work WITH those natural differences.

Familiar example: Pontius Pilate didn't invoke "universal human rights" shit when the Judaeans wanted to execute a revolutionary. PP made it clear that Rome didn't have a problem with this particular radical, then let the locals do it their own way.

Since Lenin, emperors no longer expect colonies to be cows. Now colonies are expected to be My Internal Organs. Milk and eggs are no longer the purpose of owning an empire. Pure distilled power is the only goal. Any attempt by a colony to show its own behavior or mark its own boundary is ruthlessly squashed by armies of T-cells, as we see now in EU and USA STRONG.

Now that Lenin has been combined with Goldman by neocons, the force is immensely magnified. Securitization works infinitely better than socialism. Mix and mash all enterprises into one big blob, then chop it up into indistinguishable pieces and use the pieces as poker chips in a rigged casino.

The VOM came from Jameco with a thermocouple and a temperature scale. I didn't notice the extra feature when ordering, so the TC was a sort of bonus. I've played with it when trying to make my air conditioner perform better on hot days, but I could have done that without the measurement. Here it shows that my fingers are 90 degrees F. Yeah, okay. Didn't need to know that.

Mainly the yellow plug triggered a long set of resonances in my old technician mind. One of the projects I worked on at Penn State involved a whole bunch of TCs, and they all had the same type of plug.



The plug is like a uniform. It tells you what's on the 'business end' and what to expect. When you see this yellow plug, you know the business end is meant to measure temperature, and you know it's built to be calibrate-able. Even if the business end can't be physically reached (as was typical in those engineering experiments) you can have confidence in what the business end will do for you.

All analog components wear recognizable uniforms, with rank usually marked by text or color codes.


When you see the capacitor, you know by its appearance that it's a ceramic capacitor, which tells you something about its voltage limits and temperature limits. The label tells you its capacitance in picofarads. Thus you know its PURPOSE IN LIFE with considerable exactness.

When you see the resistor, you know by appearance that it's a metal-film resistor. The color code tells you it's a 330 ohm resistor with a tolerance or error band of 10%. (Most modern Rs are much closer than the nominal error band, but you're paying for a certain degree of quality control.)

If you need tighter precision or a non-standard value like 359 ohms, you can either do your own quality control ... buy lots of nominal 330s, test them until you find a 359 ... or you can pay a lot for a custom-made R.

IMPORTANT: THERE IS NO WAY TO HACK OR CORRUPT an analog component from a distance. It has no brain that can be propagandized. It will continue to serve its tightly defined little purpose unless it overheats or gets physically busted up. A digital component like a CPU is always incognito. Unmarked. Undercover. Kamikaze. It has no single defined purpose, and it can be subverted to serve any purpose without your knowledge.

The three quantities in previous rant: Money, Power and Morals, also have plugs or uniforms that reveal their purpose in life, when they're functioning properly. Unfortunately these components CAN be hacked, and HAVE BEEN thoroughly hacked by infinitely malicious hyperdemons who run the "enlightened parts" of the world. These three components no longer function properly.

The plug analogy fits Money and Morals, not so well on Power. Maybe I can come up with a better analogy later.

1. Money. In a metal-backed system each banknote is a plug.


The shape and color tell you that a calibrated measure is at the 'business end', and the numbers tell you the value of the fixed measurement at the 'business end'. The 'uniform' also states that a direct wire leads to the 'business end', which was true but tricky. You're not really expected to trace the wire back to Fort Knox. The claim of exchange is meant to prevent people from actually exchanging all their banknotes for silver or gold, but even if they did just that, it wouldn't make a lot of difference. Physical currency is a tiny part of all transactions. Even in the 1880s when real gold and silver coins were active in an (appropriately!) bimetallic system, 95% of all transactions were by check or money order, 4% by paper currency, and less than 1% by actual metal. The proportion of checks (and electronic equivalents) is much larger now.

2. Power. Not a good analogy, but the best I can do. Each side created its plugs by sending spies and agents and propaganda into the other. For an American, Alger Hiss and Roy Cohn and Lee Harvey Oswald were some of the visible yellow plugs. For a Russian, jazz and Gary Powers were visible yellow plugs.

3. Morals. The church was the plug. When you saw this component:


you knew it was a Weigh Station for Morality. Its business end was God. When you walked through the component's door you could expect to see and hear representations of God's Law. The details of the representations told you the calibrated value and the error range. Some components were relatively sloppy, some were highly precise. After you became a regular user of the Weigh Station, you could also expect assistance in calibrating and adjusting your own Moral Weight.

**Footnote on (appropriately!) bimetallic: Bimetallism was a peculiar political rallying cry of Populists in the 1880s. It wasn't a workable system and wouldn't have solved any problems, but it was something to shout about. The equivalent in modern political currency is Flat Tax. I was just making a dumb pun on the basic construction of a thermocouple, but it raises a non-dumb possibility. In a money system with actual bimetallic coins, each coin could create its own little bit of real value. A stack of coins in your hot little 90-degree fingers would give a usable voltage, similar to the old Heatable Battery!

  Moment of clarity
A moment of clarity on leftist hatred of science vs non-leftist hatred of science.

There's really nothing confusing or contradictory.

The term science is overbroad and sloppy. It probably deserves to be phased out, just as 'natural philosophy' was phased out when science specialized away from it.

Science commonly includes theories, inventions, improved technologies, and improved materials.

All real advances since 1920 have come from the improvement side. Materials and manufacturing and medicine and agriculture. Except for the laser, nothing truly new has been invented since 1920. All theories since 1920 have been lunatic and lethal.

The science that leftists hate is entirely in the techniques and improvements category. Medicine, agriculture, materials.

The science that non-leftists hate is entirely in the theory category. "Global Warming", evolution, economics, quantum shit, cosmology, "social" "science".

Nobody loves or hates all of science, because science simply isn't a valid category.

We can live without theories. In fact we live VASTLY BETTER without theories, nearly all of which are genocidal.

We can't live without improvements in materials and plants and medicine.
