Old dumb metaphor, not so dumb.
Natural law proponents continue to describe Satan's morality as 'relative', meaning 'anything goes'. Misses the point badly and dangerously.
In earlier decades the complaint that 'everything is relative' often tacked on an allusion to Einstein, missing Einstein's point as well. General Relativity does NOT mean Whatever, Dude.
In fact the allusion is accurate, but not in the way it was meant. Einstein did say that things look different depending on your frame. If you are in a moving train, paying no attention to the outside, you can do things like dropping a ball or pouring coffee or waving your hands around. To you, these actions will look and feel absolutely normal. The ball and coffee will move straight downward, and your hands won't feel any 'wind' in one direction. But a watcher in the stationary frame will see your moves PLUS your horizontal motion, and they will look strange.
Satan's rules are the opposite of sloppy and tolerant. His rules are precise and absolute and CONSTANTLY MOVING. This is why they appear blurry or sloppy to an observer in a stationary moral frame, and this is why they appear normal to riders on Satan's train.
Fine example in this week's case of the Kentucky court clerk who lives in a stationary Natural Law frame of reference. She sees clearly that Satan's rules are roaring away from Natural Law. She sees that the "laws" of this former "nation", and even the alleged "president" of this former "nation", agreed with Natural Law on this point, continuously until a few months ago. But Satan's riders don't see the change. Within their frame the CURRENT set of rules is the ONLY possible set of rules. Former conditions do not exist. Result is predictable. Stand in the way of a moving train and you will be squashed. Totally destroyed.

Fussy linguistic footnote: I really shouldn't say 'stationary moral frame' and 'moving moral frame'. The former is redundant, the latter is impossible. Morality is STATIONARY BY DEFINITION. It is the luminiferous ether. It is the accumulated results of 100,000 years of painful experimentation to determine what Nature/God wants. The Old Testament is the lab notebook. Nothing has changed since the notebook was written. We have not 'evolved' in any important way since then, so the rules for SURVIVAL haven't evolved either. MORALITY IS SURVIVAL. Rules that change are NOT MORALITY and NOT SURVIVAL. They are SPECIES SUICIDE.
