Was pondering why the operational side of Romneycare (website, fact-checking, payment, etc) is so totally
fucked up. It's not government vs private, as Repooflicans would have you believe. Or rather, it is government vs private but the other way around.
The Feds have several agencies that constantly manage applications and payments and questions from
everyone and do it beautifully. They don't lose millions of applications, they don't have to guess how many people paid.
IRS and SS have highly functional and helpful websites. Even Selective Service, which has been dormant for 30 years, has a
splendid website where you can find clear answers quickly.
Why do they work while Romneycare fails?
Parkinson's Law. Bureaucracies exist to expand. The driving force of a bureaucracy is to increase its budget and workforce. When IRS works properly, it takes in more money FOR ITSELF. When SS works properly, it ends up with a larger trust fund FOR ITSELF. Therefore IRS and SS work properly.
Translate Parkinson into the private sphere and it's just another name for the profit motive, another name for life itself. When you are working for your own expansion, you work effectively.
This is missing in Romneycare. The profit is going to a few large insurance companies, who are NOT responsible for the 'exchanges'. If the exchanges work well, it means more money FOR SOMEONE ELSE. The system has absolutely no reason to work.
Not accidental. Romneycare was designed by idiot Repooflicans who believe that government should never receive money.
It should never run a surplus, never keep money for a rainy day. It should magically do very little and make no profit at all. It should have no motive for running efficiently or serving the people.
So: Romney introduced a system planned by
Randians, a system that violates the basic laws of any organization. Obama then duplicated the system at the federal level.
Result: Terrific waste,
ruination of the entire health care setup, and lots of unnecessary deaths.
= = = = = END REPRINT.
If health insurance had remained in the hands of REAL insurers, who were motivated to keep people healthy, perhaps the insurers would have tried to slow down the current holocaust.
REAL INSURERS UNDERSTAND REAL RISKS.
They would have seen instantly that this is not a REAL epidemic, which means that ordinary provisions for dealing with viruses should continue, and ordinary life should continue. Shutting down all business would mean that insurers would lose premiums. Shutting down all medical care would save money for insurers in the short run, but will vastly increase their costs in the future. Insurers formerly understood the difference between
NOW and LATER.
Instead, Romneycare linked all health insurance to the "bioterror" parts of Deepstate via electronic records, guaranteed bailouts for the insurers, and thus removed the motivation to keep people alive.

Looking for an appropriate link to show how
Naomi Wolf is 'speaking my language', ran across
this item that covers all the bases.
= = = = = START REPRINT:
After looking (yet again) at the literally infinite superiority of analog models of intelligence, I had to ask: Why did Western researchers abandon analog for digital a LONG time ago? At the time when they made the switch, analog modeling was moving ahead rapidly and digital was not obviously destined to succeed.
And then I saw the answer. It's an answer I've been giving often, but didn't associate it with the development of machine learning.
Digital is hackable. It's possible to insert or modify code via temporary connections or via radio. NSA and CIA are experts at changing code AND blinding the other parts of the system to the change.
Analog is not
transparently hackable. To change the way a transistor or tube circuit works, you have to physically desolder a component and replace it with another, or change the setting of a pot. A spy who "repairs" your equipment is a fairly obvious intrusion. Even if you aren't watching your office carefully enough, a change to a carefully documented and measured device is easy to detect later.
The spy could create a temporary change in function by magnetically coupling to an inductive part of the ckt, or by introducing a fake scene or sound to fool the 'eyes' and 'ears', but such a change wouldn't last through a system reset.
NSA/CIA/GCHQ and their contractors Google, Apple, Facebook, etc, are paying billions for digital AI because they want total hackpower. They realized early on that analog systems would WORK TOO WELL and would be EXTREMELY HARD TO HACK from a distance.
= = = = =
Russian researchers continued working with analog for at least two decades. For sure they were smarter and more creative than Westerners, but maybe they had a specific goal in mind. Russian military equipment also remained tube and analog after Western went solid-state and digital. In that case the reason was openly stated and well known: Tube and analog electronics in planes and tanks is less susceptible to attack by inductive transients as well as hacking. As always Russia is DEFENSIVE and USA STRONG is AGGRESSIVE.
DEFENSIVE = analog and mechanical and tube. Physical reality is defensive.
AGGRESSIVE = software. Theory is aggressive.
= = = = = END REPRINT.
Naomi specifically mentioned hackability:
Lastly, driving all human interaction onto Zoom is not only a way to harvest all of our tech, business secrets and IP – it is a way to ensure that intimacy and connection in the future will be done online and that human face-to-face contact will be killed off.
Harvesting tech and business secrets was THE ORIGINAL SPECIFIC PURPOSE of the internet. NSA created a convenient way for academics and industries to exchange "secure" data because NSA wanted to see everything they were doing.
Again, I deeply and humbly apologize for allowing the Randians to misdefine Naomi Wolf. I didn't participate in the mocking, but I never questioned the mocking, and missed the opportunity to absorb some solid and clear writing and thinking.

Speaking of diluted educators.....
Yesterday, just for fun, I cited a comparison of new media battles vs old media battles. One type of media is always mobilizing "science" and academia to squash the other type of media. The 1933 end of the comparison mentioned
diluted educators such as EC Buhler, director of Forensics [debate] at KU.
Here's an earlier example of UNDILUTED educators, also at KU. From
1923 Popular Science, p 177 of the PDF.
The Eugenics Building at the Kansas State Fair, where you could have your family tested for Evolutionary Fitness.

Capper was the media king of Kansas, serving as Governor and Senator at various times.
Media and politicians and academics haven't changed a bit in 100 years. They see humans as passive identical inanimate objects, needing to be bred and branded and prodded and culled and slaughtered like cattle.

You never need models.
Headline from Britain:
No planning was done for the enormous economic damage likely to be caused by a pandemic hitting the UK, senior civil servants have admitted.
SHIT.
You never need models or theories. All uses of models and theories are insane and criminal.
In this particular case we don't even need to ask the question. We know FOR FUCKING SURE that the FUCKING PURPOSE OF SHUTTING DOWN THE ECONOMY WAS TO SHUT DOWN THE ECONOMY.
It's a fucking TAUTOLOGY, like everything involving psychopaths. Psychopaths spend their entire time PLANNING and IMPLEMENTING mass murder. They don't need to PREDICT the results because they are CONSTANTLY SHAPING AND COMMANDING the results at every microsecond from birth to death. When you're in total control you don't need to predict.
Why is modeling unnecessary?
Let's say we want to measure the performance of this car:

We could get the factory specs for a Renault R8 and run some equations, but we don't need to do that. We can just hop in, crank it up, and run some real tests. Top speed in each gear, 0-60 time, stopping distance, max G's on skid pad, etc. Then we'll have real numbers, and we'll
have some fun while acquiring them.
Now let's say we want to measure the performance of this car:

We don't need to model it. This car has been SHUT DOWN. We know without any equations or testing that all of its parameters will be ZERO.
The genocidal holocausters who drive the locomotive KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY'RE DOING. They want us to believe that the loco was really driven by a virus with a fancy name, but we know better.
THEORY KILLS. EXPERIENCE SURVIVES.

Inanimate thinking as usual
Speaking of criminals running wild....
Spokane Police Officers, acting on a tip about a female who was wanted out of Idaho, were attempting to arrest her when her brother interjected by intentionally coughing in both officers’ faces. Tanner Macri (21) was booked for two counts of 3rd Degree Assault on Law Enforcement Officers. His sister, Shayden Macri (22) was booked as a Fugitive for having a felony Probation Violation Warrant out of Idaho and on a local misdemeanor 4th Degree Assault (DV) warrant.
Yesterday, a tip came into Spokane Police that Shayden Macri had a warrant and was at a residence in the 4200 block of south Scott. Officers responded there and found Shayden hiding in a bedroom closet. As they started to take her into custody, she screamed for her brother, Tanner. Tanner came downstairs toward the two officers detaining Shayden, and forcibly, intentionally, coughed in each officer’s face. Tanner attempted to do this again after officers arrested him and were escorting him to a patrol car to be taken to jail.
The trick didn't prevent the arrest, but now the cops will undoubtedly have to take time off while being pointlessly tested for the Witch Virus. Other criminals will observe the process and start using it, and soon all the cops will be on pointless useless quarantine.
Dumb governments start with the assumption that people are identical passive particles which must be shoved around like gravel.
Smart governments start with the assumption that people are living things capable of thinking.
Smart governments
treat NORMAL PEOPLE as adults, giving them accurate information and letting them make decisions accordingly.
Smart governments also understand that PROFESSIONAL CRIMINALS ALWAYS THINK CRIMINALLY, and respond by keeping professional criminals in jail, or executing them. These two PROFESSIONAL CRIMINALS should have been in jail all along, instead of running wild where their CRIMINAL THINKING can bring down the entire stupid inanimate mechanistic system.

Can't have it both ways
The fake "independents" are worried that the current Flu Coup is mainly a way to introduce forced vaccinations. They're focusing on Bill Gates and his various projects.
Dangerously wrong. False flag as usual. Gates is a nasty asshole, but he happens to be right on several points including this one.
If you value the infinite intelligence and infinite adaptability of LIFE, you must also value vaccines. If you understand how humans and animals have developed an infinite variety of weapons against viruses, you must INCLUDE vaccination among the natural weapons.
Forced vaccination was part of REAL NORMAL PUBLIC HEALTH RULES, part of PUBLIC HEALTH THAT MADE PEOPLE HEALTHY.
Forced vaccination is how we PERMANENTLY CONQUERED POLIO AND SMALLPOX.
We never conquered anything except LIFE with forced starvation and forced isolation. Blockades and sieges have always been weapons of death, not weapons of health.
As I've been saying forever, vaccination is a form of self-defense. If you value the 2nd amendment, you MUST welcome vaccines. You can't have it both ways.
If you think vaccination is wrong, you are on the side of the technocrats and mechanists. You are on the same side as Holocauster Inslee, who violated REAL PUBLIC HEALTH by encouraging antivaxers and open borders. Controlling borders has ALWAYS been part of REAL PUBLIC HEALTH, because it prevents an unfamiliar virus (not yet immunized) from penetrating a community in large doses.

Unsurprising result
ZH focuses on early adopters of 5G "tech" in South Korea. Koreans know how to get shit done, so it's a safe assumption that SK is the best-case example of 5G. Early adopters are saying 5G is meaningless. It's not faster, and often slower.
Totally unsurprising. I haven't bothered to keep up with this shit since I've never owned or used or touched any sort of cell phone, but this is just the latest in a LONG string of tech hypes.
Some inventions are genuinely new and make a genuine difference. Advances in speed are NOT genuinely new and CAN'T make a genuine difference.
We know from 30 years of experience in the digital world that every advance in speed or computing capacity SLOWS DOWN normal work. The makers of software and operating systems ALWAYS respond to the increase by OVERLOADING new and totally MEANINGLESS features and security theater.
Even without the overbloat, there's no reason to think that
faster transmission speeds will serve human needs better. Human needs just don't move that fast.
As I've been documenting here,
all recent innovation is actually limitation. Switching from paper ballots to electronic ballots
ISN'T FASTER, it's just easier to cheat. Uber isn't more flexible than real taxis, it's less flexible because you can't call Uber on a landline.
There is one genuinely new aspect to the 5G hype. Because the Trump administration has decided to use 5G as leverage against Huawei for unknown and unknowable delusional insane "reasons", 5G is hyped vastly more than other increases in speed. 5G is supposed to be the "next Sputnik" or something. The metaphor itself is backwards, since
Sputnik was a Russian victory that caused America to ruin its school system. Well, maybe it's not backwards. Everything we do now is utterly self-destructive. Everything that happens in DC and NYC obliterates America. That's the purpose, not an unintended consequence. Omnicide is the goal.

Kan't keep those raskally Krauts from killing, kan we?
Via RT, Greta has now reanimated the zombie of Hitlerjugend. Kids happily sing "joyfully scandalous" songs comparing old people to pigs who need to be slaughtered to appease Gaia.
This is why Germany was split and occupied in 1945. Any time you let Krauts run things, you get mass slaughter and world-destroying genocide. When you motivate Krauts by the Soros-sponsored environmental genocide movement, things get exponentially joyful.
LET'S ALSO REMEMBER THAT SOROS IS THE ONLY LIVING PEDIGREED ACTUAL GENUINE REAL NAZI, WITH A DIRECT APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION FROM THE REAL ADOLF. HE HAS ALREADY BUSTED THROUGH THE KILL COUNT OF HIS BELOVED MENTOR ADOLF, AND URGENTLY NEEDS TO DOUBLE AND REDOUBLE. THERE IS NO LIMIT TO HIS BLOODTHIRST.

Later: WDR, the network that sponsored this atrocity, is trying to play the "only a parody" game. This is an especially nasty modern trick. Parodies and fables have always been around, and have often been used as methods of carrying 'coded' information in a repressive regime. This song is not a parody or a fable. This song is emphatically NOT making fun of environmentalists. There's nothing coded or obscure in it. This song is an undisguised militaristic war-chant. It states explicitly and categorically that old people need to die, and orders the listener to kill old people.
Parodies and parables are old, but the switcheroo is new. In USA it was developed and perfected by Rush. He intentionally labels parts of his program as parody so he can escape blame for the parts presented as truth. When he gets in trouble for some of the "truth" parts, he accuses critics of failing to appreciate parody. The trick may have been developed independently in Germany.
The switcheroo is proving effective in other contexts. Elon used it to escape from Unsworth's libel trial, and now
Maddow is trying it in a different libel trial.

Following on
yesterday's note about British paper ballots.
There's a strong parallel to my recent discussions of pre-electric semaphore systems and scrip.
In all cases the official myth treats electricity as magic. When a system switches from manual to electronic, we automatically assume that the old manual way was INFINITELY slower. We can't possibly return to a method that takes "many months" to transfer messages or transfer money or complete a count.
In fact the changeover didn't improve speed and the
old way didn't take months. That wasn't the real purpose of the change.
Yesterday's Brit election showed the speed of human counters. Each constituency counted about 100k ballots in real time and finished checking within an hour after closing. The whole nation was done five hours after closing.
Rehashing
my discussion of semaphores:
= = = = = START REPRINT 1:
Electric telegraphs began around 1830 when
visual semaphore systems were already widespread in Europe and Russia. In those countries, news traveled much faster than horseback but
somewhat slower than electricity. Why didn't USA copy the idea? For 50 years those systems were well known and highly functional, but we didn't use them. We made do with horses and runners until Morse and others persuaded the government to try the electric system.
Why were semaphores slower than electric telegraphs? The obvious answer is
because electricity... but that isn't the real answer.
Two reasons, one of which could have been solved with existing technology.
(1) The moving parts of semaphores were
big and heavy, requiring considerable strength and time to overcome inertia.
The keyboards of the first electric telegraphs acted easily and instantly, with negligible mass and momentum. This could have been solved with the compressed-air technology of pipe organs.
The English six-panel system would be best because its action was binary. Each key would valve air into its own combination of pistons, each flipping one panel. When the key was released, the spring-loaded panels would snap back to default.
(2) More subtle but unsolvable. The first telegraphs were NOT significantly faster than semaphores. The Chappe system, with a dense network of stations and highly skilled operators, was able to send a message from Calais to Paris in three minutes under ideal circumstances, and one hour in typical usage. Early telegraphs shared the limitation of frequent human intervention. Batteries at each station had to overcome the resistance and reactance of long wires. The message might travel about 5 miles to the first receiver, where the operator would have to copy the complete message and then resend it. This is identical to semaphores except for the inertia and momentum. Telegraphs became instantaneous after the invention of the
relay, which automatically transferred the
information to a new circuit with its own batteries. Relays act instantly, so a well-formed and well-maintained line could send a message through unlimited distances instantly. There was no conceivable way to develop a relay for visual systems. It would be possible
right now using video cameras and OCR technology, but it wouldn't have been possible even 20 years ago.
= = = = = END REPRINT 1.
Rehashing the discussion of scrip:
= = = = = START REPRINT 2:
Hawala or scrip is the economic implementation of a principle that's painfully familiar and even trivial in other areas.
Decentralizing works ONLY when the modules or units share a common ground.
A trust network holds up ONLY when the units are built with a shared purpose. Ideally each unit should be physically incapable of harming the network.
When you can count on the units to follow the same rule in the same situation, you
don't need a central controller sending commands to the units, and you don't need a lot of communication between the units.
When the modules have different grounds or different limits or different operating systems, you need a strong central controller, and even then the overall system will be inefficient. Most energy will be chewed up in the contradictory and redundant operations of the bureaucratic control system.
= = = = = END REPRINT 2.
We conveniently skip semaphores and scrip. They are entirely omitted from our history of tech, just as analog computers are omitted.
Well then, if speed isn't the main distinction between manual and electric, what's the real difference?
SKILL AND CONTROL.
Manual methods give work and utility to people with a common culture. Electronic methods make people redundant, make culture redundant, and require everything to be controlled from one center.
Manual methods are necessarily MODULAR, with activities organized by level. Each module does its own measuring or counting using an agreed-on culture, and each module protects its own calculations. There's no choice.
Electronic methods
can be modular, but big tech always requires globalism. Each module must be instantly and invisibly monitored and controlled and hacked from the global control center.
All of our thoughts and histories have been Rectified to make human functions and skills look horrible. We can't possibly go back, because we'd lose all of our efficiency and speed.
Nonsense.
BIG TECH IS GENOCIDE.
= = = = =
Sidenote for future ref: In the earlier discussion on semaphores I asked:
Why didn't USA copy the idea? I didn't answer the question, and still can't see an answer. We obviously weren't waiting for electric telegraphs, because they didn't even start developing until 1830. We had plenty of contact with France in those years. Our inventors and politicians often visited France for inspiration and financing. Chappe semaphores were
EVERYWHERE in France, and they were dramatically visible. American writers commented on the 'flying wings' of Chappe, but we didn't adopt them. It's a strong puzzle.

Dubious but scary thought
I think there's something more to Elon's CYBERTRK than a simple Sucker Filter. He's expanding the acceptable range of sadism and murder for his cultists.
I wrote in 2015:
= = = = = START REPRINT:
The old NRA slogan "Guns don't kill people, people kill people" applies correctly to guns, and also to normal autos and most other tools.
A gun or car or hammer or knife or screwdriver or weed-wacker can be a weapon... but only when used with specific deadly intention.
The slogan does NOT apply to autonomous cars. These weapons
do kill people on their own, without any human intention.
Hold on. This seems complicated and subtle. Something is missing.
After thinking and walking about it, I formed a chain of reasoning:
What about a mousetrap? When I cock a trap and leave it in a mouseroad, I've created an autonomous weapon. It's programmed to detect a mouse (of below-median intelligence) and kill it.
What about a humantrap? When a store owner gets tired of thefts and sets up a shotgun with a tripwire, he has created an autonomous weapon. It's programmed to detect a thief (ditto) and kill him.
What about a landmine?
Aha. Now the correct dividing line emerges.
Mousetraps and tripwires are SELF-DEFENSE weapons. Landmines are NOT self-defense weapons. Landmines are placed on property that you don't own, and they're not protecting your own body or family.
Self-driving cars are mobile landmines. They are sent out to wander the roads, killing totally innocent pedestrians as a
desired side-effect of unnecessary luxury.
Basically a Non-Virtual Reality Entertainment Experience for passive sadists.
= = = = = END REPRINT.
My first thought about the CYBRTRK last week:
WHY is bulletproof a selling point?
Elon's cultists are tech-monsters. Libertarians. Young males. A lot of them are Oriental or Hindu. All of them are well-educated, strong in math, short on life experience. They live precariously in high-rent areas surrounded by slums. They feel physically threatened, and perhaps they also sense that their wealth is on shaky ground, cantilevered by debt and subsidies and share-value Ponziness. Owning a bulletproof vehicle that looks just like the SWAT team's trucks is their substitute for owning a gun. You get to feel like a cop, leaving you free to ignore the gross inequality that you're helping to create, and leaving you free to HATE actual cops who actually put their lives on the line to defend your Libertarian ass.
= = = = =
Add these two concepts. The sum is a private army of literally weaponized autists, willing to let their
sword-like autonomous autos do the killing for them, with no moral qualms.

Always nice
Always nice to get immediate verification. We know that the purpose of the Carbon Cult is to slaughter Deplorables. This was implicit in the
original 1975 CIA manifesto, but not often emphasized.
A new document states the goal explicitly.
Via ZH, 11000 "scientists" have signed an open petition calling for slaughter of all Deplorables.
They don't say Deplorables verbally, but the logic of their proposal forces it.
Who is reproducing? Deplorable countries, and Deplorable areas and neighborhoods in Sorosian countries. Specifically, real Muslims and real Christians are reproducing. Everyone else is declining.
So a population control project necessarily focuses its attention on Christians and Muslims. Secular Western groups and the Oriental area are declining on their own and don't need an extra 'boost'.
This religion-based genocide must be highly satisfying to those 11000 "scientists". They found a way to kill believers without saying it openly.

Twitter item from a Californian:
Leaving my dark, cold house where my capitalist power company can’t keep the lights on to go pay full price for a prescription my capitalist insurance company refuses to cover. Tell me again how socialism is bad.
Well, capitalism vs socialism is exactly the problem in medical care for sure. But it's not the only problem with utilities. Before the privatizing fashion and the Enron laws of the '80s, electric utilities were either municipal ("socialist") or tightly regulated private. Power was more reliable and maintenance was better, BECAUSE IT HAD TO BE BETTER.
But the same comparison divides SHARE-VALUE capitalism from REAL-VALUE capitalism. The comparison shows up around here in the Valley, where SHARE-VALUE Avista covers some areas and REAL-VALUE Inland Power and Vera Power cover others.
Note the comments in
this Spokane-News FB item about an Avista outage in the Valley. Inland and Vera customers smugly note that last night's brief and minor windstorm didn't knock out their power. They usually keep their power when Avista goes dark.
Real-value companies seek profit, which means they want live customers. A dead customer isn't paying. Share-value companies seek rising share value, which means they
prefer dead customers. A dead customer is a burnt sacrifice to Gaia. A live customer is a NEGATIVE EXTERNALITY.

Constants and Variables 141, big mistake edition
Constant 1:
Boeing is stupid in exactly the same way that Tesla is stupid. Both are making real-world machines using a software-world mindset. Both assume that the real laws of Newtonian physics are just arbitrary Social Constructs which can be overcome by the Will Of Software.
Constant 2:
Both are major players in Share Value. Boeing is a big part of the Dow, and Tesla is a big part of NASDAQ. Both are focused primarily on satisfying NYC investors. Keeping customers alive is not even secondary; more like thousandary on the list of priorities.
Variable:
Tesla has vast armies of religiously motivated trolls who instantly smash all truth and logic.
There are no pro-Boeing trolls.
At most there are establishment types who defend Boeing's stupid explanations as authoritative, but they don't throw feces at the antis.
Conclusion:
Boeing's big mistake is its failure to develop a cult. Even though it claims to be a "tech company", it's not a religion.

Dateline: London, Airstrip 2. May 1, 2719
Every May 1 is called Mayday in London, for unknown reasons. For the last 700 years London has been conducting a mysterious ceremony on Mayday. The origin and meaning of the procedure are unknown. The ceremony is called Paying Rent To The SunKing.

On this great day, Portcullis Pursuivant, assisted by her deputy Chester Herald Of Arms, presents a tray carrying several mysterious objects to the
GREAT AND MAGNIFICENT SunKing SOROS DCLXVI. The tray represents the constant and perpetual tribute and payment of RENT by Airstrip 2.
The mysterious objects on the tray are (1) The shrunken head of a miscreant named Faright, who was defeated by the Great May Queen on the Endless Mayday. (2) A Broken Orange Trumpet. (3) A Bent Silver Horseshoe with a crosspiece in the middle. If these latter two objects ever had any purpose, it has been lost in the perpetual snow and ice of Global Warming.
Portcullis and Chester stand in front of a stage set used only for this ceremony. The stage set represents a vertical object of unknown purpose, with an iron grid that seems to have been capable of moving downward, but has long since rusted in open position.
Portcullis and Chester are both wearing a ceremonial costume known as
Reasonableness Pants, which signifies abject and total surrender. Portcullis cries out "Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!" in celebration of the Great Victory, and then hands the tray to the SunKing SOROS DCLXVI.

Fucking reprint yet again
I linked this item in
yesterday's minor puzzlement. After rereading, it deserves to be brought forward as a fucking reprint again. I wrote the item 10 years ago about a document written 45 years ago. The document itself is still perfectly resonant, still showing the precise template that the Carbon Cult has been following down to the last decimal point. My comments 10 years ago are still valid. (I've changed my mind about
some things since then, but not about science.)
= = = = = START FUCKING REPRINT:
As Polistra has
noted before, the Carbon Cult began in 1975 with a conference organized by long-time anthropological fraudster Margaret Mead, and attended by several of the current players including Obama's "science" adviser John Holdren. The conference was recorded in a govt-published
book, which I took the trouble to buy and read. Much of it is rather dull speculation, but the preface by arch-criminal Margaret Mead lays out the roadmap for the crime.
We are facing a period when society must make decisions on a planetary scale. ... Whereas in the recent past a whole continent could have been submerged, decimated by plague, or ravaged by earthquakes and the rest of the world remain untouched and unnoticing, today's natural catastrophes and environmental interventions affect the whole of human society, interconnected as it is in reality though not yet politically capable of acting in concert.
And your goal was to conduct the concert.
As such, manmade interventions depend upon the application of science to technology; scientists become doubly responsible, both for the immediate uses made of their discoveies and for the well-being of their fellow citizens. Whether they be citizens of a free enterprise state, a socialist state, a dictatorship or a hereditary monarchy, they need inforation to make decisions, either for an intelligent choice among alternatives or for guidance in carrying out decrees by their ruling group. Even in the most arbitrary and authoritarian forms of government, a comprehension on the part of the leadership and an understanding on the part of the people are both essential. Unless the peoples of the world can begin to understand the immense and long-term consequences of what appear to be small immediate choices - to drill a well, open a road, build a large airplane, make a nuclear test, install a liquid fast breeder reactor, release chemicals which diffuse through the atmosphere, or discharge waste in concentrated amounts into the sea - the whole planet may become endangered.
Well, you've closed off nearly all those choices by now, haven't you?
What we need from scientists are estimates, presented with sufficient conservatism and plausibility but at the same time as free as possible from internal disagreements that can be exploited by political interests, that will allow us to start building a system of artificial but effective warnings, warnings which will parallel the instincts of animals who flee before the hurricane, pile up a larger store of nuts or grow thicker coats before a severe winter.
Must admit I like the animal analogy. Shows a respect for
natural knowledge that has been lost lately, as scientists have come to rely purely on manufactured data plugged into imaginary computer models.
Scientists themselves may value making a fine point against a rival more than the possible consequences of the intra-scientific battle; or be extremely cautious so as to protect their reputations (among scientists) which is a modern equivalent of fiddling while Rome burns. Or they may simply despair of ever connecting effectively the nature of science, with its built-in requirement for validation by other scientists, into the political bureaucracies of the world.
Margie girl, you'd never have made it without a totally corrupt and incestuous "validation". Modern scientists depend equally on the corrupt "validation" of peer review. Hasn't changed.
= = = = =
Now here's a
passage from the latest New Superstitionist, the house organ of the Carbon Cult.
Scientists' instincts will be to plunge into developing the technology. That would be a mistake. If experiments begin without consultation and debate, protesters will argue that the technology is being foisted upon us.
To be a workable plan B, geoengineering will first have to gain public acceptance. That will be a tough sell. Faced with new technologies, people invariably ask: is it safe? Who will govern it? Who will benefit? With a technology powerful enough to alter the climate, those questions are likely to be asked more loudly than ever. It is easy to envisage debates about the necessity of such a scheme, worries about its consequences or rumours that it is a front for scientists or businesses to cash in on the global warming "hoax".
How can the public be wooed? Consultation is obviously part of the answer. If people feel they have had their say and have been listened to, they are more likely to accept and trust geoengineering. There are signs that scientific organisations are aware of this. ...
It's a good start, but a much broader process of consultation will be needed if people worldwide, particularly environmental groups and those representing citizens in the developing world, are to have their say. This consultation needs to be high-profile so that geoengineering, a concept that few people have currently heard of, becomes part of mainstream debate. And it must start soon.
Same crap by the same people. Same need for "settled science", same desire to shut down opposing opinions, same urgency. Must! Start! Soon!
The good news: 35 years of hard criminal work, and they still haven't persuaded us. In fact the more we learn about their nefarious endeavors, the more we oppose.
The bad news: They don't need our knowledge or opinion. They don't need to persuade mere humans, because they don't need or want ANY HUMANS AT ALL ON THE ENTIRE PLANET. The opinion of dead humans doesn't matter. They'll still win in the end. They have the Wall Street Mafia, all the governments of the world, and all the media and educational and cultural and religious institutions on their side. (As Monckton puts it concisely, "money, power and glory.")
But at least we will die knowing that they have destroyed science, education, industry, civilization, and humanity through total fraud and crime. We will die knowing that the greatest crime in history, the final crime, the final Final Solution, was not a secret.
Some consolation, I guess.

Not so strange after all.
Listening to the
powerful dramatization of the Neck Verse by Hix's anonymous actors in 'Strange as it Seems', packed with empathy for the poor and downtrodden.
Benefit of clergy.
Sudden question: WHY did they exempt clergy from punishment? It's a peculiar ancient custom, impossible for secular moderns to understand.
Sudden answer: It wasn't because the clergy could read. That was just the marker. The benefit was provided
because the clergy heard confession.
Priests knew everyone's secrets. They could reveal everyone's secrets if they were threatened with any loss of privilege.
Sudden insight: That's why our Web Lords are also exempt, why the SEC and FTC and DOJ and FCC can't touch them.
Zuck knows all of our secrets because he built the confessional and requires us to attend daily. We can't receive full sacraments unless we use Devices that confess all to Zuck.
Elon knows the secrets of his cultists because his rosaries on wheels are constantly reporting location and driver behavior as part of the "machine learning" for the heaven of FSD, which will not arrive until the Second Coding when Lord Elon resurrects as the Holy Emperor Of The
Terraformed And Gloriously Carbon-Free Mars Kingdom.
Bezos knows the secrets of his customers, Kalanick knows the secrets of his riders, and so on.
Not so strange after all.

The real innovation
Here's a thought that seems valid at the moment....
What is the real innovation in the Innovative Disruptors?
Nothing they do is new.
Amazon is running exactly the same business that Sears and Penneys were running for 150 years. Order by mail, pay with credit, deliver. Sears started with paper mail and railroads, shifted to telephones and trucks by 1950. Amazon is still using telephones and trucks.
Elon is making electric cars, which were common in 1910. His electric cars go faster than the originals, but have the same disadvantages of slow charge time and limited range, plus new bonus features like exploding without warning and involuntary crashes into obstacles.
Elon's other fake developments are equally old, generally around 150 years old. Previous versions worked. Elon's version fails.
Uber is a taxi service that you can call by phone. The only difference between Uber and REAL taxis is that you can call a REAL taxi by landline or cellphone, while you can ONLY call Uber by cellphone. This isn't an innovation, it's a limitation.
Facebook, Twitter, etc, are cults. They draw people in with promises of freedom and power, and then capture their minds.
= = = = =
Here's the real innovation: EVADING LAWS AND TAXES.
The Silicon Valley mob figured out that the web is the same as the post office or the phone system EXCEPT that the web is unregulated.
When you run an old business model through the web, you can get away with all sorts of tricks and frauds and dodges that would be enforceably illegal in the old mail and phone systems.
It's like money-laundering.
The same process happened in the first era of radio, from 1920 to 1934. Cult leaders like Aimee McPherson and fake doctors like JR Brinkley grew fast using the unregulated airwaves. When the Federal Radio Commission clamped down, some of these operators were jailed and others faded away.
Operating without laws, the Valley mob was able to grow BIG in record time. Now that it's BIG, it can evade laws the old-fashioned way by purchasing legislatures. So far there's no sign of a new FRC for the web.

Bye Tulsi 2
Tulsi is suing Google for blocking her ads during a crucial few hours after the first debate.
Google's response is blazingly dishonest:
“In this case, our system triggered a suspension and the account was reinstated shortly thereafter,” a spokesperson for the company told The Federalist. “We are proud to offer ad products that help campaigns connect directly with voters, and we do so without bias toward any party or political ideology.”
Every programmer knows that the "automatic unbiased trigger" is a lie. Algorithms obey the people who write the constants.
BUT: I gave up on Tulsi a couple weeks ago after
learning that @Jack gave her a maximum contribution. I wrote:
@Jack is deep deep deep deep dark dark dark dark Deepstate. He knows EVERYTHING. If @Jack thinks you're worth supporting, I can be 10000000000000000000% certain that you're a nasty vile warmongering monstrous alien genocidal faker. Just another AP like Trump.
Now we see what @Jack got for his contribution. Tulsi is working for @Jack and suing @Jack's competitors. It's all mobs from top to bottom. Nobody is trying to improve things or make things. Everybody is trying to STOP all improvement. It's mutually assured nothingness, mutually assured chaos and entropy.

Wanna talk about bias?
Tired subject, but sometimes it's just too screechingly obvious.
Project Veritas has found the
rare and valuable CURRENT PAID EMPLOYEE at Google who is willing to discuss how bias works. He makes the hugely important point that algorithms are NOT objective. Algorithms do what the programmer wants.
I've made this point often, and all programmers understand it. Many PAID programmers lie about it. Now that a PAID CURRENT EMPLOYEE has said it, maybe it will be noticed. Probably not.
(Unnecessary update: Speaking of mindless automatic algorithms, the engineer has already been fired.)
Google is not the worst offender.
Scrolling through the top stories on news.google.com, it's a rational mix of the real top stories, and most are pretty well balanced. Mueller's fake senility** gets both sides, Epstein's fake suicide actually emphasizes his connections to the Clinton mob.
Bing fails the test totally. Scrolling down through the top items in news.bing.com,
26 of the first 35 are specifically about "climate change". Many of those 26 are utterly irrelevant by any standard. Dust pollution from unpaved roads in New Zealand. Really? Is that the 20th most important story in the world right now? Is it even the 20th most important story in New Zealand?
**Fake craziness is a standard mobster tactic.
Vince Gigante used it effectively. No surprise that the Clinton mob knows how to use it.

Elon = Osama
A few months ago I tried to concoct some new non-standard conspiracy theories, since all the standard ones have turned out to be true.
Here's another.
Conventional wisdom says that Elon may be a poor manager, but his "inspiration" made the electric vehicle cool.
Simply false. His crappy quality ruined the reputation of EVs. Elon pulled EVs out of the
NATURAL NICHE WHERE THEY ARE BETTER THAN GAS CARS, and placed them in a
niche where they will never compete. Standard AP procedure. Real car manufacturers had to slow down their plans until Elon was out of the way.
Therefore: Elon is working FOR big oil, not AGAINST big oil. He is a classic Agent Provocateur to get all the idiots involved in a cult for EVs. He makes EVs look awful, just as al-Qaeda makes Muslims look awful and Trump makes populists look awful and Betty Friedan made women look awful and Ayn Rand made capitalism look awful. The best part of his AP assignment is the autonomous nonsense, which actually kills people in the name of EVs.
This would also explain why Elon gets away with
brazenly breaking all the rules. Other tech monsters break rules, but they do it quietly in a way that doesn't embarrass the SEC and FTC. Elon openly spits in the face of the regulators and nothing happens. When you're part of Deepstate, rules don't exist.
Extended and expanded the "theory".Labels: $TSLAQ, Deadthink, Pluponents
