Wrong focus
The talkers on "both" "sides" are focusing on the Virginia governor. Could be meaningful; remains to be seen. Youngkin is Romney. He's a hedge-fund NYC rich boy. He looks like an easy surrender, a normal chickenshit Repooflican promise-breaker. I'm not betting on him.

To my eyes the bigger event of this "election" is the NYC mayor. Eric Adams is GENUINELY BLACK, not half foreign and half white like Obama. Adams is also a GENUINE COP.

Virginia might have been riled up about the silly CRT crap, but New Yorkers were riled up about REAL riots and REAL crime of all types. Crimes by the hedge funds as well as the gangs. At least symbolically, Adams is the opposite of both types of crime. He seems to have enough GUTS to make a difference. I'd bet with him.

The CRT crap was just the last straw, the handle for a much larger disgust with elite arrogance and condescension. What's new is that the disgusted people now include many well-off and influential courtiers. The rich DC suburbs include plenty of educated people from Vietnam and China and India, who have a real culture. They got tired of hearing lectures and SHUTUPS on the subjects of gender diversity and racial diversity from lily-white fuckheads. They are also tired of muzzling and distancing while the same lily-white fuckheads, who KNOW IT'S A HOAX, never muzzle and distance themselves.

I still don't trust Youngkin, but now I see the bigger picture, and it makes tremendous sense.

And later again: I've been rigorously avoiding all attention to "local" politics, to preserve my brain. Turns out that I missed one positive event closer to home than NYC. In Seattle of all places, defunders lost both the mayor and city prosecutor. Explicitly pro-police candidates won both positions with solid majorities. Maybe we're moving out of the era of total paralysis when "elections" had zero effect? Remains to be seen. Still no change here.

While thinking of Wolf's housing bubble graphs, I read Sailer's graphing of urban murders.

Doing the blinkygif thing.... Hmm. Pretty much the same graph.



Blue is housing prices in Los Angeles, red is national murder rates. Sailer and Wolf placed different causes on the peaks, but in fact both are parallel results of the same policies by the same speculators.

When life gets too difficult for ordinary people, ordinary people get pissed.

Of course it's a one-way pissitude. Murders and suicides decrease the supply of poor people, but don't affect Bezos and Buffett and Bloomberg at all.

Bloomberg is the major player on the murder curve, since he owns the mayors and drives the "defund" campaigns.

The ultimate goal of the speculators is simple.

EXTERMINATE ALL UNTERMENSCHEN.

Gaining trillions of dollars from the extermination is just a pleasant side effect.

  The Chicago brand
Curbside Classic shows a brochure for a 1997 Caddy limo.

The first thing I noticed is the change of scale. The limo was custom built by Chicago Armor And Limousine, who extended the wheelbase from 113 to 119. This provided supposedly luxurious legroom for the executive-class rear passenger.

119 inches was the wheelbase of a 1948 Plymouth, which had the same luxurious legroom in the rear.

Now you have to pay an extra 100k for a custom limo to get the same space that was formerly available in every low-priced car.

The second salient point is the company name.

Chicago = crime. Chicago = armor.

No change of scale on this measurement. Today's Chicago is still the murder capital.

This item doesn't really fit my usual criteria. It's a complex modern machine, not 'patient' or ancestral.

I decided to make it as a form of salute to the police, who are doing a nearly impossible job. They're hammered from above by evil politicians who want to neuter them entirely, and they're literally killed from below by "activists" of "both" "left" and "right" who are equally sponsored by the same Deepstate that runs the evil politicians.

In some places the police have gone along with the commands to create chaos, but not here. From the start of this grotesque mess the cops have maintained EQUIPOISE, letting normal people do normal things while trying to stop the worst crimes and riots with measured force. Regular city cops (NOT FEDERALS) are the last true defenders of civilization.

I recognized this EQUIPOISE earlier, after observing that young gangsta types shared my respect. Jailbirds know better than most folks how police can go wrong, so we recognize when police are doing the right thing.

The EQUIPOISE paid off when the "left" and "right" idiots got serious a few days ago. Calm was restored quickly with minimal damage, and SO FAR the idiots haven't resumed their idiocy.

The Webster Chicago fits this salute because it was specialized for law enforcement use, and was actually used by cops. This model appears in many movies and TV shows from the 40s and 50s, and is mentioned in many legal decisions.



The Webster was optimized for hard use and clandestine use. The speaker was protected behind the metal panel, and the reels and head were recessed inside a metal superstructure so random motions wouldn't halt them or knock them off. Input plug on left, and output plug on right, were both unique, not standard. An unauthorized user couldn't just plug in ordinary mics or phones. The controls allowed you to listen through the speaker or earphones, as Polistra is doing here. Unlike acetate disks or Dictaphone cylinders, the source reel (left) could fit in a coat pocket, and couldn't be crushed or cracked in a scuffle. Even the brand name helped. Webster Chicago sounds tougher than other brands of similar equipment.

Back to editorial: Both "libertarians" and "leftists" are alarmed about surveillance by phones and drones and microchips in vaccine. Wrong variable. Surveillance is a good thing. Governments need to know what criminals and foreign enemies are planning, and need to keep an ear to the pulse of the public. The problem is what the Feds, and some local cops, do with the knowledge. When the knowledge is used for NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, to protect the people from crime and invasion, and to shape agendas toward improving the nation, it's good. When the knowledge is used for blackmail and tyranny it's bad.

Blackmail and tyranny are INTRINSICALLY BAD, regardless of surveillance.

  NYC turning sane?
Briefly paying attention to political soap opera....

NYC mayor primary shows a pretty clear trend. Looks like the D candidate will be Eric Adams, a black ex-cop who has been the sub-mayor of Brooklyn for a while. The meaningless R candidate is Curtis Sliwa, who needs no intro.

The squealing defunders and statue pullers have nowhere to go.

I've been noticing for a LONG time that the R and Libertarian side was the real leader of cop-hating. The squealers made it too easy for R politicians to pretend respect for cops while continuing to demoralize and ruin actual police forces.

With law and order running on both tickets, NYC leaves no room for pretense.

This may also represent a loud resurgence of ordinary black people who have been the main VICTIMS of crime. Media and politicians ignored them until now. D politicians took them for granted as permanent team members.

Following from this.

Looking through the latest listings at American Radio History, ran into a 1939 issue of the British Radio Pictorial, including an interview with a "noted philosopher" named C E M Joad.

Instant example of Constants and Variables in the area of Rule By Experts.

Not so new:

Bach had a full-fledged music factory with his dozens of sons and daughters all slaving away. Most of Purcell's work was done for the equivalent of movies and Broadway.

As for C E M Joad's "worthless dance tunes" of 1939, Wikipedia lists about 200 hits, and half of them are still instantly familiar and still performed. That's 80 years, not 80 hours.

Did the fame of C E M Joad last as long? No need to ask the question, but the answer is still DELIGHTFUL. He spent his whole life issuing ABSOLUTE DICTATES and then disobeying them. Even the BBC finally got tired of him.

Calibrating: C E M Joad is correct that the media always try to create tastes, but their power is limited. When media depend on profit, they have to follow pre-existing opinions to some extent. In the last two years we've seen this process with BLM riots. All media and corporations "took the knee" and stated categorically that Riots Are Health And Police Are Disease. The public provided quick and powerful negative feedback, and the corporations untook the knee.

  Maybe a new comparison
It's obvious from the only available FACT that FBI has taken over medicine.

The one and only FACT: As reported by AIER, the holocaust was officially triggered by a "bioterrorism" adviser at VA. "Bioterrorism" also gave us the "anthrax" fake panic in 2001, which was directed by FBI.

I was thinking about the inverted meaning of CASES, and realized that the FBI connection is ALSO clear from the behavioral patterns of Public Death Officers.

The focus on CASES in the current holocaust is one of the keys to its success. Public Death Officers are trying to test everyone for signs of the "virus", because they see CASES as a crime instead of a sign of immunity. Worst of all, they are doing EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to make more people sick in general, eliminating all aspects of normal life that help immunity, and sealing people into recirculated air in houses and muzzles where viruses can stay active instead of leaving the body after being perceived and neutralized by the immune system. We're bombarded with bad statistics, totally unconnected to the baselines and contexts that make numbers meaningful. The bad stats "show" us that more and more "disease waves" are coming, which will require harsher and harsher tyranny waves.

Before 2020, doctors and public health officials didn't GO OUT LOOKING FOR CASES. They understood that the presence of antibodies indicates that a person is no longer SUSCEPTIBLE to the virus. This is how immunity works. Doctors didn't try to test everyone. They waited for people to get ACTUALLY SICK, then kept track of the ACTUALLY SICK PEOPLE. And they certainly didn't try to destroy immunity. Their advice, when given, tended to help immunity.

The old approach to medicine is the same as the ordinary police approach to crime. Ordinary cops don't search every house looking for thoughts of crime, and don't go around testing people for criminal tendencies. They wait for an actual crime to occur, then arrest and prosecute the actual criminal.

The 2020 approach to medicine is the FBI approach to crime, more generally the Deepstate approach to crime. Deepstate never waits for actual crimes to be committed. Deepstate monitors everyone's communication, watching constantly for CASES of heresy. A discussion of heretical topics is never seen as a healthy response to heresy. No matter which side you're taking, you're a criminal.

FBI constantly CREATES CRIMINALS, developing "activist" groups and cultivating drug gangs, shaping their activity toward maximum criminality so ordinary people will be scared shitless by "terrorism" and "crime waves". The "terrorism waves" and "crime waves" are false stats, just like the "disease waves".

Just as FBI inverted the function of policing from solving crimes to creating crimes, the Public Death Officers have inverted the function of medicine from solving disease to creating disease.

There's one crucial and lethal difference. Ordinary police still exist, still practice old-fashioned policing on both crime AND disease, and generally dislike the FBI approach. Ordinary doctors no longer exist. All MDs must be assumed to be FBI agents. A handful of MDs, literally two or three, have publicly indicated their displeasure, but haven't taken any actual steps to counteract the tyranny.

Well no, that's unfair. The Great Barrington Declaration has about 37000 "medical practitioners" who bravely put their names and reputations on the line. Skimming through the partial list, there are a lot of currently employed MDs, mainly at universities. Unlike most Open Letters, it's not just the safely retired.

But declarations and Open Letters are not concrete actions. The most important concrete action is OPENING THE BLACKMAIL. Let the public see the emails or text messages from Holocaust Central. Let us see the ESTABLISHED SYSTEM that made the trigger on March 12 work. An email from Carter Mecher, bioterrorism adviser at VA, wouldn't cause all governments in the world to start a holocaust in unison unless the governments had been rigidly organized and prepared in advance. Let us see the threats for non-compliance. It's fairly clear by now that the threats weren't implemented, because several governors have been non-compliant from the start, or turned non-compliant soon after the start, and haven't been assassinated or removed yet.

In short, the Great Barrington outfit hasn't done anything. So far I don't see the usual false flags, but I don't see an effective 'warrior spirit' either. Too many careful hedges and fudges and backdowns, not enough clarity and firmness. No sign of collective action. No crowdfunding for doctors who lose their licenses by practicing REAL medicine.

Most organizations send frequent fundraising emails to keep subscribers energized. For most organizations, that's the whole point of getting people to sign up. I signed GBD at the start and haven't received anything at all. If they begged for money while showing some results, I'd send money. If they showed LOTS of results I'd send LOTS of money. I pay for value.

  Thankful? Yes.
Last week I tried to find some gratitude, and decided that preserved old entertainment was the only bright spot. I couldn't think of ANYTHING in modern hell to evoke gratitude.

Here's a better try: COPS. Ordinary police are the ONLY part of government that isn't actively assisting the holocaust, and most cops are trying to moderate the effects of the war.



Cops are DEFENDING THE PEOPLE from the rest of the government.

Their job was redoubled in the summer when the "racism" rioters, who were created by the rest of government, tried to kill cops. City councils voted to defund cops as a result of the riots started by city councils. Most of those votes didn't get anywhere, and probably weren't intended to do more than demonstrate the total idiocy and satanic evil of the council members. Fortunately the cops handled the rioters expertly, defusing the situation in most cities.

Mad Bomber Inslee and Demented Dominatrix Woodward have been screeching about the horrors of Thanksgiving dinners, in unison with all other demonic governors and mayors.

We don't know if any Karens snitched on their neighbors, but we do know that there were no police actions. The Spokane News FB page would have reported them if they happened. They didn't.

To bring the PURPOSEFUL heroism of police into sharp contrast, here's a meaningless sign of PURPOSELESS fake "resistance". Four mayors in the Tri-cities area (Pasco, Kennewick, Richland, West Richland) have officially complained to Inslee. They haven't actually DONE anything; haven't blocked his murders or refused to pull the trigger for him. Just complained.

Gang leaders don't care if their hitmen are complaining while pulling the trigger. As long as the hitmen keep shooting, no problemo.

Later: The small town of Mossy Rock has officially blocked Inslee. Bravo for courage, but it won't last long. Open resistance needs to be ORGANIZED AND MASSIVE, otherwise it's just suicide. If the Tri-cities plus Spokane had firmly resisted IN UNISON back in March, and stayed firm, things would be different. Without STEADY AND ORGANIZED resistance, quiet 'refraction' is the only halfway effective survival technique.

  Constants and Variables 156, riot myth edition
Bizarrely stupid and intentionally wrong myths about riots are proliferating fast.

Riots are caused by lack of shared narrative.

Riots are caused by lack of classical education.

Riots are caused by Darwin.

These idiocies are NOT EVEN PART OF THE STORY.

1. Starting a successful riot or revolution requires massive preparation and organization. Massive preparation doesn't happen unless GOVERNMENT WANTS IT TO HAPPEN. This isn't new. For at least 170 years Deepstate has been deciding which movements to wipe out and which to co-opt. The wiped-out organizations don't get a chance to speak or protest. They only get to die. The co-opted and owned organizations are encouraged and assisted in rioting.

Real revolutions require FOREIGN government support to overbalance the internal Deepstate.

2. Starting isn't enough. Riots only CONTINUE when governments tell police to stop being police. This variable is easy to observe in the current situation. Seattle vs Spokane. The same people started the riot in both places. (I happened to hear some of the "visiting" agitators, so I'm not just guessing about this.) In Seattle the city government openly wanted riots and told the police to surrender. Here, despite the best efforts of the permanently insane city council, some part of the government accidentally allowed the police to continue being police. The heroic cops carefully distinguished** between non-violent and violent actions, and QUICKLY ARRESTED the violent actors. The second weekend fizzled, and the third riot failed to start. (Admittedly the Weather Gods also assisted.)

In all the cities where riots are continuing, the city government is OPENLY AND SOLIDLY on the side of violence. This is not mysterious or theoretical.

Riots are government projects.

** Distinguishing isn't hard. Most of the violence in riots is performed by non-political professional criminals who are recruited for their violent skills. The cops know these criminals on a first-name basis, since the permanently insane "court" system simply gives the professionals a two-hour coffee break between jobs.

  Wonderful speech
A wonderful speech by Mei Sims at a Culp For Governor rally in Seattle. She hits the murder masks from a purely HUMAN and EMOTIONAL perspective, which we don't hear often enough. For that matter, I don't talk about it often enough. I'm focused on immunity and raw survival. This shit has made me COLD AND HARD.

I'm hoping and praying that Culp can hang tough on this topic. He's working with the state Repooflicans now that he's the candidate, and the state Repoofs are still missing ALL the points. They're still focused solidly and exclusively on Inslee's worst sin in their minds: raising the license registration fee. They haven't noticed the riots, or the shutdown of ESPECIALLY small businesses, or the imprisonment of all citizens, or the binding and gagging and MURDER MURDER MURDER MURDER MURDER HOLOCAUST HOLOCAUST HOLOCAUST of all citizens. Inslee raised the car tab fee, so he must go!

  Journalists doing their job
While the "virus" emergency is stuck in holocaustal hell, with crazy governments stuck on crazy and sane governments stuck on sane or converging back into crazy, one other fake emergency is unraveling fast.

Cancel culture and the attendant riots have fallen out of favor among the elites. The riots were no longer "peaceful" after one BLM leader supported Palestine. Now the media are turning against wokeness and Die-Versity.

Special credit to WIBW in Topeka, which did some REAL JOURNALISM to expose the Die-Versity fraud at the Goodyear plant in Topeka.

I have a soft spot for WIBW, which kept me amused and entertained during long sleepless nights when I was young. It's nice to see an old "friend" doing the right thing.

  Thanks, weather gods.
Trying for a little positivity amid the unvarnished hell.

The weather gods have been the only source of MERCY for ordinary people here.

This spring was a bit stormier than usual, but no major windstorms. Best of all, the thunderstorms were PERFECTLY TIMED to wash out the "racism" rioters. Three weekends in a row they tried to get a riot going and got drenched.

This summer has been strictly normal. Lots of 70s and 80s, two weeks of 90s, two days of 100s. The 90s broke today with a soft rain, no windstorm.

Lots of sun, lots of good walking weather, and I've been taking full advantage of it. When the Suicide Masks were required in stores and buses, I changed my store trip patterns to minimize Time Under Suicide Mask and maximize walking. I've got TUSM down to exactly 24 minutes per week (from original 90), and walking up to about 12 miles a week (from previous 7).

Walking burns off anger and futility, provides a nice tan, builds up endurance and neurons, and incidentally sheds a bit of weight where it counts.

  No, that's not how you do it.
Just after I wrote that we haven't seen any resignations by mayors, TheFederalist published a carefully anonymized brief article by a small-town mayor, telling vaguely about the pressures placed on mayors to conform with the suicide mask mandate.

This is NOT how you solve a problem. We already know there are pressures. THIS DOESN'T GIVE US ANY INFORMATION, DOESN'T TELL US ANYTHING WE DON'T ALREADY KNOW.

Problems are created by blackmail, and problems are solved by OPENING the blackmail.

If the mayor really wanted to solve the problem, he would resign, hire private security, and start talking. In a small town he'd be relatively safe anyway. The local cops would be on his side, and small towns don't have a lot of federal and state offices.

If TheFederalist really wanted to help "preserve our republic", whatever the fuck that means, or more importantly PRESERVE OUR FUCKING LIVES, TheFederalist would hire the security and publish ALL the information openly. Names, places, dates, times. Who made the threat, what was the or-else.

If the threat is real, opening it deflates it. If the threat is empty, opening it shows everyone that it's empty. Other mayors who haven't bothered to check for emptiness might start to feel more power.

In general people with SOME power have much more room for maneuver than they think. Intimidation works because the SOME power types feel alone and isolated and unwilling to test their limits. The key is force and counterforce. If the SOME power set organizes to create a countervailing BULLYPOWER, real change will happen. (As we're already seeing in the woke-cancel-culture shit, where more CEOs are standing up and refusing to apologize to the wokers.)

The media allegedly on the skeptic side aren't helping by screaming about a few examples of censorship, most of which isn't even censorship. The focus adds to the intimidation, which makes me suspect that many of the 'skeptics' are false flags.

Money isn't an obstacle. Private security and quasi-pension for the mayor can be crowdfunded easily. The Seattle-area cop who was fired for publicly complaining about the pressure raised $450K. A whole lot of people who have SOME money are ready to help.

A crowdfunded pension is a far more effective defense than "legal" maneuvers. As we've seen in the Daleiden case and the Unsworth case, all lawyers work for Satan. When you have FUCKYOUMONEY, you don't need to worry about firing. When Deepstate knows that threatened officials can acquire FUCKYOUMONEY easily, one form of threat disappears.

  Culp vs Inslee
The primary gives Culp the R side against Mad Bomber Inslee. "Elections" don't matter, and this one certainly won't matter, but at least the "election" will be more informative and entertaining this way. It will also leave a clearer record for those Martian archeologists who try to determine how Earth committed suicide.

The other Repoofs weren't solid and weren't carrying a clear message. Culp has been solid and consistent (SO FAR) and has a clear message on both important fronts. 1. End the lockdown tyranny. 2. End the riots.

As a policeman, his credentials for the latter are perfect, which means that one or two humans (if any exist) in Seattle might be inclined to vote for him.

This would also be a clear lesson to the Repooflican party itself, if Repoofs were capable of learning. The Repoof party's fundraising emails scarcely even recognized the lockdown tyranny and mask tyranny and riots. They kept focusing on ZERO TAX, serving Boss Bezos just as loyally as Mad Bomber serves Boss Bezos. In their minds Inslee's only crime was raising the car license registration fee. I'M NOT KIDDING. By their standards, Eyman (MISTER ZERO TAX) would have been the only acceptable "candidate". Eyman came in third among the Repoofs, after Culp and Freed, which indicates that the Repoof "voters" are not in line with the establishment.

  Reminding yet again
The BIG QUESTION remains untouched.

Who started this holocaust? For what purpose? How was the command distributed? What was the threat or blackmail that enforced it?

At this point about 1/3 of the world has come OUT of the holocaust. Some Euro governments have even stated openly that it was a mistake. They aren't pretending it was necessary to "cure" a "virus".

But nobody has answered the BIG QUESTION, even among the governments that stopped obeying.

Opening the blackmail would be the quickest and best way to SAVE the rest of the world from further destruction.

ACU is supposedly working on the question, but I won't believe it until they do it.

Let's think back to the last major fake emergency, 9/11. At that time there was lots of mainly pointless discussion about the value of torture. Would it be justified to prevent a mass casualty incident? My view at the time was that torture WOULD BE justified for that purpose, BUT we were torturing people who were NOT terrorists planning a mass casualty incident. So our ACTUAL use of torture was not justified.

Well, we now have the largest mass casualty terrorist attack in all of history, and it's still going on. Many parts of US are still being subjected to mass death and torture by psychopathic governors. We've expanded from torturing a few fake "terrorists" to torturing ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE who doesn't work for Deepstate.

Masks are waterboarding.

If we had a meaningful counterforce, a Mafia devoted to opposing Deepstate, the Mafia would be justified in finding one of those secret-holding demons and using all necessary means to extract the truth. Persuasion and threats first, then honeytrapping and blackmail, then torture if necessary.

Simple persuasion (backed by credible threats) is surprisingly effective on a criminal who isn't naturally psychopathic. When a youngster has been led into criminal activity by gang leaders, his natural moral sense is unhappy. He's ready to be led out of crime. Smart cops know this and use it.

As far as I can tell, nobody is even TRYING to find and persuade the weak links.

  Police are the new commies
Unz.com is mostly a boiling stew of false flags. Occasionally one of the authors brings in some real and meaningful facts. This article gives details of a 'hacker dump' from communications between FBI and local police departments. Unsurprisingly and typically, the local cops are basically honest, trying to keep FBI's monstrosity at arms length.

I wrote a comment to that effect, then realized that I was missing the bigger point.

FBI's permanent job, ever since Lady Edgar founded it in 1913, is to commit crimes and create criminals. FBI is a gang. Other gangs proudly tag their own work. Honest branding. Unlike other gangs, FBI attributes its crimes to Current Official Enemy. "Germans" or "Russians" or "Hippies" or "Muslims" or "Antifa" or "Alt-right". Often it attributes to "both" "sides" at once.

Now put the two facts together.

The main current enemy is local police. All media on "both" "sides", all politicians R and D, all stock demons "bull" and "bear", plus the fake "antifa", plus dozens of monstrous local mayors and councils, are conspiring to destroy local police. Only ordinary people support the police.

The media constantly "report" "crimes" committed by local police, ALL of which are ordinary actions defending ordinary people against ordinary criminals. As with the "virus", the whole mess is just a rebrand. Nothing new or unusual is happening, only the brand is new.

Local police are doing the job that GOVERNMENT WAS MEANT TO DO. Fuck the shit about "rights" in the Declaration. That was the opening salvo of Deepstate's war on civilization. In fact governments were created to protect ordinary people from criminals and invaders.

Local police are the ONLY part of government that still accomplishes the real PURPOSE of government.

Deepstate can't allow this to continue, so FBI and the media are pulling their usual evil tricks, committing or rebranding actions as "crimes" by the local police, who are the real CURRENT ENEMY of Deepstate.

(Unlike the "virus" shit, this shit makes sense. This is normal shit, consistent and predictable shit since the founding of Deepstate.)

  Reminding the BIG QUESTION
Just a reminder of the BIG QUESTION that still hasn't been answered.

When nearly all leaders in the world commit the WORST CRIME IN HISTORY at the same moment, with the same details and procedures and propaganda attached, it's not an accident. It's not groupthink. It's not an idea whose time has come.

It's a SPECIFIC COMMAND backed by a SPECIFIC THREAT, passed to all leaders through a SPECIFIC CHANNEL.

The crime can't be stopped until the blackmail is opened.

We still don't know any of those details. None of the leaders have broken the blackmail. Several leaders at various levels have stopped following the command. Those leaders should be able to tell us how the command was given, but so far they haven't. (I asked one of them directly, and he dodged the question.) Which makes me think that they aren't really disobeying; they're part of the plan. Deepstate always runs "two" "sides".

I'll be happy if the latter thought is wrong, but it won't be wrong until the blackmail is opened.

Recalibrating: Maximum paranoia doesn't always come through. I try to keep the paranoid dial turned to 11, which is inadequate most of the time. So I assumed, based on experience, that the "racism" riots would keep going forever, just as the "virus" genocide is continuing forever. Infinite pileup of fake emergencies. But in fact the "racism" riots faded away quickly as they used up their energy. In a few cities where the government encouraged and aided the riots, they continued longer; but in places where police behaved normally and carefully, the energy dissipated.

So reality doesn't ALWAYS go infinitely beyond my worst fears.

  How fast does thought travel?
While looking for more ancient stuff to animate, found an interesting 1915 book of questions and factoids. The Book of Wonders is something like Ripley or Hix, but more oriented toward serious descriptions of how things work and how people do their jobs.

Some of the questions are predictable, but some are astonishingly original.

At What Rate Does Thought Travel?

Thought travels 111 feet per second, or about a mile and a quarter per minute. Elaborate experiments have been made by Professors Helmholtz, Hersch, and Donders, to ascertain the facts on this question, the result of which was that they found the process of thought varied in rapidity in different individuals, children and old persons thinking more slowly than people of middle age, and ignorant people more slowly than the educated.

Well, this is clearly dealing with axon signal speed, not thought as such. It also shows a standard academic prejudice. "Ignorant people" don't take longer to answer a question because they're dumb. They take longer because they have to think about it. They have to process the answer in CPU. "The educated" have quick answers to most questions stored in lookup-table form. The same distinction applies to children vs oldsters vs middle age. Middle age is a time of certainty when you "know" everything. Children haven't built the lookup tables, and oldsters have learned that the lookup tables are crap. Thought takes longer when you think.

Signals travel along axons at widely varying rates, constantly adjusted to keep the two ends of the path synced up with other paths that are involved in the same resonance. EQUIPOISE, a balanced resonance, is the invariant goal. Glial cells constantly monitor the signal paths along axons, modifying the myelin to slow or speed one path as needed. If one path changes due to damage or revision, the glial cells go to work again to get the bounces along this path sync'd with the other paths involved in this thought.

THIS IS AMAZING.

Is this closer to the Book Of Wonders answer, or closer to the idiotic statistical non-answer at MindMatters? Closer to the Book Of Wonders, which is talking about speed instead of time-free "available choices".

We're looking at two axonal paths between a pair of brain nuclei. Thought waves bounce back and forth between the nuclei at a speed which is CONTROLLED TO SYNC THE RESONANCE. Happystar appropriately represents a glial traffic cop.


Now the SUPERamazing part. When a path changes because of damage or revision of the pattern, the glial cops change the speed yet again to keep the resonance in sync.

LIFE IS PURPOSE.

Defund the police now! But don't defund the police that keep ME safe! Only defund the police that keep poor people safe!

They haven't tried to reconcile the two types of knowledge because their minds have been trained to reject reality and adhere solely to THEORY in all realms of life.

  Not new
It's hugely annoying to encounter pro-riot advertising everywhere you look, but I was reminded just now that it's NOT NEW. I was looking at some radio magazines and radio station brochures from 1968-69. Same shit. Jumping on the hippie bandwagon, cheering the "protesters".

Remember "I want to buy the world a Coke"?

There's a more negative tone now, because Share Value has freed up big corporations from the need to have customers. In '69 the corporations weren't openly ordering people to Kill Whitey. Now they are.

But even now there are a few notable exceptions among the companies I use. Ebay has been free of messages so far, and Google's front panel hasn't pushed the message nearly as hard as others.

Mayor Jenny Durkan said at a news conference that the violence was distracting from changes sought by thousands of peaceful protesters seeking to address racial inequity and police brutality. She said the city is working with the community to bring the “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest” zone to an end.

This is an absolute and perfectly consistent shibboleth.

Any time you hear a politician or corporate spokesman saying that violence DISTRACTS FROM the virtuous cause that allegedly inspires the violence, you know you're listening to a demon.

Violence and crime are bad. Sometimes violence is necessary in self-defense, but it's still bad.

In these 'distracting' situations, there's never any self-defense. The violence is aggressive and unnecessary. The protesters are not seeking "changes". When the police agree to the allegedly desired "changes", the protests get stronger, which tells you that they weren't seeking the "changes". They're only seeking CHAOS AND MAYHEM AND DEATH.

If you can't say that bad is bad, you're bad.
