What if we took it seriously?
Since I switched back to
work mode, my mind is considerably more focused. Activating the How-machine in one area tends to activate it fully. I've been able to solve several little problems around the house that were puzzling before. New ways of doing things.
Work mode also DEfocuses media shit. I thought I was already defocused ... TV gone for many years, radio off most of the time ... but there was still room for more sanity. Now I read websites glancingly and quickly, which brings extra side-effects.
Another
peripheral read.
Actual headline: Police investigating death at Al's Motel
I read:
Police investigating death of Al's Motel
Convective thought: Progressives are always bitching about "corporate personhood." The concept as usually applied is worth bitching. The black-robed criminals use this notion
selectively to favor monopolies and bankers. What if we applied the concept
thoroughly and consistently?
We would investigate the murder or blackmail or rape of a company just as carefully as we investigate the murder or blackmail or rape of a human. LBOs would be treated as murder. Purchasing regulations to damage competitors would be treated as aggravated assault.
Corporate personhood COULD be a progressive concept.
