No, economists aren't dumb.
Still following the substitution theme.
Extracting a couple paragraphs from earlier item:
In real life NOTHING is substitutable. Nobody replaces eggs with pork, or spinach with kale, or ball bearings with roller bearings, solely to hold price constant. Adults have firm preferences based on EXPERIENCE and EXPERIMENT, not on abstraction. We know what we like, and we'll pay almost anything to keep using what we like. For a business, EXPERIMENT means that we've spent thousands of hours designing and testing the product, setting up the assembly line, gaining regulatory approval, and training the workers. We CAN'T do the whole experiment over again just to save a few bucks on one component. I don't think economists intend to destroy economies by using the substitution theory. They're just hopelessly dumb and incurably stupid. Die-Versitarians know exactly what they're doing. They know that substitution leads to failure and chaos and genocide.In culture and morality, substitution is obviously a weapon. The purpose of fast switches is to BREAK the permanent results of experiment and experience, aka Natural Law. And here's an AHA. It's the same in economics. Innovative Disruption is WEAPONIZED SUBSTITUTION. Its purpose is to BREAK the permanent results of experiment and experience, aka the profit motive. In both realms, Satan wants PURE THEORY to be the only influence on our behavior, because PURE THEORY can be flipped in a picosecond. This applies equally to Gender Fluid and Amazon. In both cases a DECENTRALIZED** system based on facts and refined by experience is BUSTED OUT and replaced by a CENTRALIZED system based on falsehoods and refined by theory. In both cases the INTENDED result is chaos and war and death for most of us, and infinite infinite infinite riches and power for the bloodsucking elites. = = = = = ** Footnote on Decentralized: When a system or discipline is based on Natural Law and experiment, you don't need a central command structure. Everyone can observe the same facts and reach the same results because Nature (including human behavior) works the same way in all places. Objects fall downward everywhere. Pleasing the customer leads to profit everywhere. Punishing theft and murder leads to security everywhere. When a system is based on Theory and Delusion, you desperately need a central commander, because nobody except the commander can see the delusion. A religion that follows Natural Law doesn't need a Pope. An economy that follows Natural Law doesn't need economists.
