[Right about one] > [wrong about all]
The appeal of semi-Populist** types like Trump and Corbyn is simple and easy to understand. In a time and place when all the other leaders are INFINITELY WRONG about MORE THAN EVERYTHING, Trump and Corbyn are RIGHT about ONE OR TWO THINGS. The Establishment still doesn't understand this simple distinction.
Trump and Corbyn's points of rightness are opposite. Trump is right about economics and wrong about war. Corbyn is right about war and wrong about economics. Still, ONE area of clear and precise rightness is just SO DAMN REFRESHING.
Corbyn showed his clear and precise rightness today in a
"forum" with the other Labour candidates.
Pushed on whether the UK should bomb targets in Syria to combat Isil, the left-winger said: "The issue would be we bomb, we kill people, we wouldn't destroy or defeat ISIS, we probably make the situation considerably worse. "If that doesn't work the question is would you put boots on the ground? I don't think so."
Exactly. He understands that the current UK/US/EU policy is CREATING refugees, then INVITING them.
Bankshot genocide. Destroying your own nation by recruiting foreigners to do the job.

** As always, I'm using Populist in the proper Jennings Bryan sense, not just meaning Loud Talk.
