Mr Moto, the Trouble Man
Looking around for Leeds and Northrup stuff, ordered a CD of 1925 Western Electric catalog pages via Ebay. It didn't have the Vreeland equipment I'm looking for, but it did include some unexpected telephone equipment:
Send the Trouble Man out on his Moto-Cycle. He'll get there fast, over hill or dale, faster than any other Moto-Cycle. (And not incidentally,
he'll have more fun along the way.)
A reminder that paved roads were rare in 1925. Even now, linemen often need to zigzag through woods too dense for a 4-wheeled vehicle.
