Rare sharp observations
Saagar's Realignment podcast occasionally hits gold.
The latest interview with writer and thinktanker Michael Dougherty contains some sharp and fresh observations. Dougherty focuses on the consequences of failing to reproduce. When a culture doesn't bring in a new generation it goes stale in specific ways.
Semi-quoting:
We're stuck with a class of unfit leaders in all institutions. Boomers are stuck in these roles because we haven't been birthing enough kids. There's no generational pressure from below.
Well, unfit is a gentle word. They're demons. They've been selected through a long rise in the ranks, winning by superior evil at every stage. Most Boomers are not demons, and most Boomers are thoroughly disgusted with these supermonsters representing our generation.
Big non-nuclear families provide vastly more opportunities and views of life for kids. When you can only see what your parents are doing, and only connect through your parents. your range is extremely narrow. When you can get a job or learn about a skill via the neighbor's grandma's cousin, your range is huge.
Powerful point about skill estate, never heard before. Worth more thinking.
The decadent elite has several branches. Trump is no less decadent than the others, but he comes from a very different decadent elite, based on Roy Cohn.
Finally an establishment type admits the Roy Cohn connection, though he still misses the full meaning.
Joe McCarthy was Roy's first boy toy. Trump was Roy's last boy toy. Demonic bookends.
Both of Roy's boy toys were recruited through the old Badger Game, and trained to play the same game. Both were assigned to make populism look horrible, so the globalists could STOMP on all populists with no hindrance.

Later thought about generations: One specific change in "laws" helped to create the current blockage. The government prohibited forced retirement in 1986. Before then, major corporations had absolute retirement rules. GM forced everyone from the assembly line to the CEO to retire at 65, so there was a guaranteed turnover of generations at all levels. Removing this law would help to clean out corporations but wouldn't help with political positions, which have never been age-limited. It also wouldn't help with monsters like Soros, who operate their own demonic "foundations" or "funds".
