Excellent idea!
Via Julie Kelly, a tremendously smart and important idea.
Make ordinary life possible in a world of Karens by officially signing liability waivers. I'd do it in a microsecond! I'd even pay a HUGE** amount of money (basically a lawyer retainer) for a year-long liability waiver, if it was guaranteed to work.
The deal would be simple. If you tell me to wear an alien mask, I show you my Protection Card*** and tell you to go away or get sued.
Similar to the GenRad technique. A voluntary protection racket.
** When I say HUGE, I mean at least $10k. More if the deal was broader and firmer. Relieving the constant stress of waiting for the JACKBOOT would be a literal lifesaver.
*** The Protection insurer could be called Silver Cross.
