Perfect metaphor
Random thought....
I've often compared Google to a corrupt librarian. She gives you the information, or refers you to books, preferring the authors or companies that have paid her for advertising.
In fact the comparison works on many levels.
Google's DIVISIONS are identical to a good library's ROOMS.
A library has an Old Stacks area, a Government Documents room, a Map Room, a Newspaper Room, a Current Magazines shelf, a Records & Videotapes shelf....
Above all, what does the typical librarian say when people are talking?
