Bernie sorta gets it
Trying to avoid the soap opera of politics.
Here's a rare departure from the soap opera, a politician who seems to grasp the REAL meaning and value of REAL socialism.
When Repooflicans say 'socialism', they simply mean 'tax'. ZERO TAX is capitalism, and 0.00000000000000000000000001% tax is socialism. In other words, the desired goal is government services for free.
When Democrats say 'socialism', they mean 'free goodies for Democrats'. In other words, the desired goal is government services for free.
Bernie is getting closer to the REAL meaning now.
In the real Soviet system, businesses weren't government agencies and didn't act like government agencies. They were NORMAL BUSINESSES, making things and selling things for a PROFIT. The government's function was CONTROL OF CAPITAL ALLOCATION. Gosbank invested more in companies that offered a realistic chance of improving production, or adding jobs for people with needed skill sets. Just as in simple capitalism, profit was the MEASURE of a company's success. Government was motivated to increase the profit of businesses, because government ran on VAT. The whole system was thus biased toward INCREASING REAL VALUE.
In Sorosian debtism. businesses DO NOT perform normal business. They serve two purposes: increase share value and please the satanic dysmorality of NYC. The best way to achieve both goals is to eliminate production and kill workers. The whole system is thus biased toward DEATH.
Bernie's proposal is weak and overly compromised, and can't possibly reach any condition approaching real Sharia or real socialism, but at least he seems to understand the proper meaning of the word.
