Massive transposition
Kudos to my dream scripter, which just pulled the most extreme transposition ever. Normally it picks up bits of audio input and places the words onto different characters in different locations.
During this afternoon's nap the radio input was a MAXIMALLY PROSAIC stock show. The exact opposite of poetry and music and art in every possible way. Unstructured mumbling of drab numerical nonsense. An auction with an autistic auctioneer. It's good nap noise because there's never anything remotely interesting to grab my attention.
... And Facebook, 341.56, this is a Gartley spread since last February 21, 231.65 pretty amazing ... massive shorting ... bottom line ... Major weighting component of FTX ... 1123.51, forming AB = CD structure ... Shanghai 3342.67 let's see ... high value top 2231, no that was 2165.14 ... bottom line, pretty amazing... Tesla new highs 345.12 ... pretty amazing...
The dream scripter somehow transposed this into watching a florid Baroque opera.
Bottom line, pretty amazing....
Lately I've been outputting a lot of structure and a bit of art in the form of courseware, with too little input of structure and art. The dream scripter, sensing the hunger for entertainment, decided to generate some of its own. Like consuming body fat when food is short.

Footnote: I picked the clip of Dido and Aeneas above because it looked like the opera in the dream. I wasn't especially familiar with Dido, so I checked the story. According to Wikipedia, Purcell was engaging in Swiftian subversion. Dido, representing England, was swayed by the witches, representing Rome, to marry Aeneas, representing Roman James II. Purcell was making a nationalist point, warning against foreign influence. The opera was first performed for James II, then never performed again until the manuscript was rediscovered around 1895. Apparently James understood the point. Sounds mighty familiar.
