Two weird dreams
Two weird dreams, closely linked in time. Both seem to beg for symbolic interpretation, but I don't see the symbols!
1. I was getting ready to move my house to a different place. Together with my father (who has been dead for 12 years) we were checking out the blueprints, noting that the house contained a smaller house inside, which was cleverly disguised. As we were checking the plans, my father casually got into the driver's seat (???!!!???) and casually hit the gas. The house started to move without proper preparation. I could feel the floor bending as it flowed over the foundation and down into the yard. My father said "Shit! Did I..." and I answered, "Yes. You screwed it up."
2. I was walking toward a modern office building with friends. We were getting ready to buy tickets for some unstated type of entertainment. I noticed that the people coming out of the building were all discussing the same topic. I mentioned this to the friends. "Hey, did you notice that? Four different people were talking about angels, and they all imitated the way angels move. They were gliding along the floor like speed skaters." Friends didn't pay any attention, just looked askance. Did the thing speak? (This is the only realistic part of the dreams!)
The imitations of angels were like this:
After waking, the floors of the house are unusually noisy, trying to settle back into position as they do after a windstorm or after those little quakes in 2000. The weather has been perfectly benign for the last few days: low 40, high 60, no wind, a little rain. PNSN doesn't show any quakes, and I don't see any reports of quaky stuff in SpokaneNews. Still wonder if the first dream was responding to a real sensation, maybe a roll from a distant quake? Nope, USGS doesn't show any major quakes anywhere in the last day or so.
