RT gets there first AGAIN
RT has breaking news of a BIG quake off Alaska, causing tsunami alerts all the way down the coast to Wash, and across to Hawaii.
No sign of the news in Bing and Google aggregators, no sign in any of the local "news" outlets. Some of them don't work at night, but the ones that do update their Twitter feeds are showing things like Ralph Lauren fashion awards and a "comedian" in Seattle who was attacked by his audience. (Bravo!)
The "local" "news" outlets often focus mostly on the Seattle area, and a tsunami reaching the coast of Wash is definitely a Seattle event. It's not fashion or RUSSIAN_HACKING so it doesn't exist.
FWIW (not much): I had one of those definite earthquaky feelings two days ago, but dismissed it because I've got other worries this week, so couldn't isolate the variable.
One hour later, Bing (which is based in Seattle) still hasn't noticed the tsunami, but finally picked up the nearly simultaneous quake in Java. The ring of fire is getting EXTREMELY active in the last two months, with newly awakened volcanoes in Phillipines and Indonesia and Japan. We should be paying more attention to this, but we won't. It disproves the CO2 nonsense, therefore it can't exist.
