Constants and variables, RUSSIANAGGRESSION edition
Here are two PSA's that ran on the Fibber show in March and April of 1954. I've isolated one-minute clips of just the PSAs.

One message was about countering RUSSIANAGGRESSION with our own propaganda.
Condensed transcription:
Even though the guns of war are silent today, another war, a vicious and bitter war, continues. It is a cold war of propaganda versus truth, and it is raging throughout the world. ... You can help combat the vicious lies that are being spread throughout Europe by joining in the Crusade For Freedom, which offers each of us an opportunity to strike a blow against tyranny. This blow can be struck through Radio Free Europe, an independent citizen-sponsored organization which broadcasts the message of democracy to the iron curtain every day. Hour after hour it undermines the influence of Red rulers.Note that this message was broadcast AT THE SAME TIME when Roy Cohn, assisted by Hoover and the military, was permanently undermining ANTI-communism here at home. In other words, Communism wasn't the problem. Communism was just fine as long as it was spread by the Right Sort Of People. Russia was the problem. Cold War 1 and the current Cold War 2 aren't about ideology. The issue is genocidal globalist power. Russia is MEDDLING AND INTERFERING with our need to destroy everything, so Russia has to be defeated. = = = = = The other message was about our standard of living. Condensed transcription:
Our high standard of living is primarily a result of our ability to PRODUCE more than any other country. PRODUCTION has done more than give us a high standard of living. We don't want to lose our accustomed standard of living. We also don't want to lose the freedom we fought for. So what can we do now? Work longer and harder so we can produce enough to build our strength against RED AGGRESSION, and maintain the high standard of living which has made our country a fine place to live in.Here's the true variable. This message is distinctly non-modern, and points to a real change in alignment of power. Before 1971, America was the production end of globalism. After 1971 we gradually became the consumption end of globalism. Note that BANKERS FAVORED PRODUCTION in 1954, and BANKERS WERE MAKING PROFITS from investing in production. Ray of hope: This means that globalism doesn't automatically require financialism. We can't kill globalism, but there might be a way to reshape the incentives so that bankers will again find manufacturing more profitable than sucking Janet's titties. It happened before, so it could happen again.
