Reminding myself
Reminding myself to calm down about this....
I've been hoping and praying for an EXPERIMENTALIST president like FDR. Trump is turning out (so far!) to be an EXPERIMENTALIST. Identify a real problem. TRY SOMETHING NEW. When you TRY SOMETHING NEW it will often fail. You then need to LEARN FROM THE FAILURE and TRY SOMETHING ELSE.
This is exactly how FDR ran things, and he bumped into the same obstacles that Trump is hitting. Hostile globalist media and hostile globalist "judges". Both are vastly fiercer and more monopolistic now, but they were already plenty fierce in the '30s.
When a president runs on the basis of THEORY (aka mindless bigotry) he doesn't encounter nearly as much friction. Media and "judges" both function on mindless bigotry, following a set of Sorosian axioms that are universally false and universally lethal.

Later thought: One major difference. In the 30s the protesters were Deplorables, opposing the media and "judges". Protesters were pulling FDR toward MORE nationalism, MORE jobs and LESS war. FDR moved in their direction because he didn't want to face a revolution. Today's protesters are reactionary globalists, totally aligned with the Sorosian Deepstate. More war, less jobs, more infinite infinite infinite infinite infinite riches for The Tribe, more dead Deplorables.
So far the Deplorables haven't mobilized.
