Just enforcing the deal
The feud between Trump and various media outlets is mainly about 'access'. Because they have consistently lied about him, he decided to stop giving their reporters free passes to press conferences.
What are they complaining about? He's simply enforcing the terms of THEIR OWN business model.
Every contract has two sides.
DeepState media normally kiss the ass of preferred politicians and bureaucrats in order to get access. That's the deal. Politician gives tips, media give nice coverage.
Trump started out giving lots of access to the DeepState media. They broke the contract by giving him libelous slanderous vicious bigoted vile filthy toxin in exchange for the access.
So Trump is simply enforcing the contract. No proper coverage, no access.
And needless to say, the DeepState media is responding by committing even more of the crime they already committed.

Grammar sidenote: I wish I could settle on singular or plural for
media. Properly it should be a 'collective' like data, thus singular. But sometimes the usage
feels like it needs to be plural. The distinction seems to be people vs institutions. When I'm talking about journalist-demons as individuals, media are. When I'm talking about the networks and newspapers, media is.
