SNAAFU
KREM's writers are so atrocious that it's impossible to tell whether this is an April Fool or not.
SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane police officials have closed the 200 block of W. 29th Ave. for an unconfirmed report of a man waving a game. Police officials said they have not found anyone matching that description and closed the road as a precaution.Do they mean waving a gun? Or waving a Monopoly board or a pinball machine or an elk? Or is he waiving a game, as in "That's okay, guys. Deal me out. Start without me." No way to know. = = = = = Couple days later: The word was correct in a backhanded way. Turns out the 911 call was a 'swat', an attempt to frame the guy who was supposedly waving a gun. So there was a game involved. ¶ 12:15 PM
