Reciprocal wigglespace
Half-baked thought, seems pretty good at the moment.
Cultural wiggliness and tech wiggliness are driven OPPOSITELY by prosperity. The sum of both wiggles is relatively constant.
Look at the 1920s vs 1930s.
1920s:
Culture = flappers, gangsters, wild new music, new jargon.
Tech = No change at all. 1930 autos are identical to 1920 autos, and you can hardly tell the brands apart.
1930s:
Culture = Nothing new. Desperation causes people to seek stability.
Tech = Huge changes. Streamlining, synchromesh, automatic, unit body. 1940 autos are in a different universe, and all brands are recognizable. Same with radios.
Why reciprocal?
When people feel secure and prosperous they have room to tolerate teenage idiocy, which is the source of wiggles in culture, style and morals. When people feel insecure and poor they are already at the limit of their tolerance. Poor people need strong and stable religion and morals.
When businesses feel secure and prosperous, they feel no pressure to change or innovate. When businesses feel insecure and poor, they have to try something new or die.

The current cultural wigglers are violating this natural pattern, along with everything else in the fucking universe. They are using the government to enforce their accelerating lethal psychopathic all-destroying idiocy at a time when most people feel poor and insecure. THIS WILL END BADLY. THIS WILL END IN REVOLUTION.
