Even Satan doesn't like whiners
One of my father's jokes, used when I was bitching about some First World Problem:
"Doctor! Doctor! My little finger was shot off in the battle!"
"Stop crying, soldier. See that private over there? His head was shot off in the battle, and he's not complaining."
Writing it now, I suddenly suspect 'little finger' was a family-friendly edit. My father made similar edits in songs like Barnacle Bill. Nevertheless, the joke is still a good response to First World Whining.
Europe is FWW about the 'little finger' of a half million Arab migrants, DISTRIBUTED AMONG 20 COUNTRIES.
Turkey has been housing, feeding and educating THREE MILLION Syrian refugees, and he's not complaining.
The distinction is especially grinding because US/UK/EU STARTED THESE WARS, while Turkey didn't even participate until just a few weeks ago.
But how about Syria's nearest neighbor Israel, you might ask? Well, of course Israel is not taking ANY refugees. Instead, Israel is building walls. But I thought walls were bizarre and goofball ideas? No, that's only for walls built by unIsrael. When Israel builds walls they are Necessary and Ethical.
Is anyone considering the possibility of urging Israel to accept some refugees from the FUCKING WAR THAT IT STARTED? No, no, no, of course not. What a bizarre and goofball notion. Why do you even ask? Israel is the Law Producer For The World. All other countries are Law Consumers. Israel creates all Laws, all Wars, all Ethics. Israel receives all Money in return for its most Nobel and most Moral and most Ethical leadership. Others bend over and obey.
