Age of Stings 2
On the
cartoon thing:
I understand both sides. For several years I was on the neocon side, now I'm mostly on the other side. The problem here is not the truth of either side; the problem is that both sides are getting pushed into deadly stupidity by 'support groups'.
Wilders claims to be anti-Establishment, but in fact an anti-Islam attitude is precisely what drives the Establishment in US/UK/EU. Drawing cartoons isn't the big end of the attitude. The big end is killing hundreds of thousands of Muslims in places like Syria and Libya.
We don't yet know what was driving the two dudes who tried to stop the cartoons, but it's a safe bet that they, or their 'support groups', have been pushed by government Stings.
[Next day:
Yup. The "news" article is cagey, but the sequence of events is perfectly clear and familiar. This dude was serving as an informer and AP for the Federal Bureau of Instigation. He may have gotten carried away, as APs sometimes do; or he may have been following orders precisely. We'll never know.]
Neither side is solving any problems. The net result of both sides will be to expand the war in places like Libya and Syria, and to expand the Homeland Security tyranny in US/UK/EU.
Both sides claim to be anti-establishment in "different" ways, but both are serving the overall purpose of US/UK/EU, which is total chaos and total war.
There isn't a way for ordinary people to solve these problems. The big stuff will have to burn itself out and use itself up. It no longer has any negative feedback mechanisms; it has gone exponential. The big stuff wants us to join in and go crazy. We need to stay clear and stay sane.
A bit later and a bit narrower: Neither side is serving the
specific goals of the movement they claim to be helping. Wilders is basically a nationalist. Nationalism is about strong borders between nations and cultures. Nationalism is about MINDING YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS. This little stunt only gives the internationalists more ammunition, more "justification" to mind everyone else's business. Sharia law also recognizes that culture exists within borders. When living inside a non-Muslim country, you're supposed to obey the laws of that country as far as possible. If the law in America
required you to draw images of the Prophet, you'd have to disobey. But it doesn't. There is an increasing set of situations (abortion, "marriage") where current USA STRONG laws
do require religious people to practice their arts and crafts in violation of both Christian and Muslim beliefs, but Prophet cartoons haven't yet joined that set. The shooters were trying to enforce a law that doesn't exist here, thus they were not serving Sharia.
Dammit, real Christians and real Muslims should be working together in opposition to the big Satan of US/UK/EU. Satan hates both of you equally and wants both of you dead. You agree on ALL the important moral and economic questions, whether you know it or not. Don't let Satan divide you with symbols and theology. Work together!
