Agent, not whistle-blower
It's pretty clear by now that Snowden is operating FOR, not AGAINST, NSA and CIA. His latest non-revelation:
Britain spied on the Argentine government for five years amid fears of another attempt to reclaim the Falkland Islands. Documents released by American whistle-blower Edward Snowden are said to allege that British agents were actively spying on Argentina between 2006 and 2011. The large scale operation may have involved implanting computer viruses, circulating false propaganda and collecting intelligence with the aim of diminishing or discrediting the Argentine government,No duh. UK and Argentina have been squabbling and fighting over the Falklands for a century. What the fucking fuck do you fucking expect? Spying is WHAT NATIONS DO when there's a potential conflict. It's not only done by nations, it's done by corporations and sports teams and beauty pageant contestants and quiz show contestants and academic grant-seekers and EVERY FUCKING BODY who has a meaningful stake in the outcome of a conflict. Getting the usual "privacy" activists all weeweed up about PERFECTLY NORMAL NATIONAL BEHAVIOR is a wonderful way to immunize yourself from outrage when you commit ABNORMAL shit. It's also an excellent way to distract attention from the ACTUAL DEADLY threats to privacy, Google and Apple. Of course you don't need all this complexity.
