Doesn't make sense
News today is saying that Lubitz was "researching" methods of suicide, and "researching" how the cabin door works in an aircraft.
This is silly. He'd been working as a pilot for a while, so he understood by training and experience how the door works.
An experienced cook doesn't need to "research" how to light a gas stove. An experienced programmer doesn't need to "research" how to turn on a computer and find the keyboard.
And he had obviously been planning this suicide/murder for a long time, so he didn't need to "research" methods of suicide.
"Hmm. Should I take sleeping pills, or slam a plane into a mountain with 150 passengers on board? Which is likely to create the biggest message? Pills or plane? Can't figure it out. Need more research."
This is either fantastically stupid "I love lamp" created by the media, or an extra trail planted by Lubitz for unknown and unknowable reasons.
