Silliest lawsuit in history
This beats suing McDonalds for hot coffee. A class action suit by Google users in California is suing Google for gathering data on users.
Jesus. If you don't know that coffee is hot, you shouldn't drink coffee. If you don't know that the web makes its money by gathering and using ALL of your info ALL of the time, you shouldn't be using the web.
You can SEE your data being used in real time, just as you can SEE the steam over the coffeecup.
Apparently the suit is about "incognito mode" in Chrome. Again, if you think any of these privacy switches are functional, you shouldn't be using the web. Privacy switches simply inform Google that you're worth watching more closely.
This isn't paranoia, it's just empathy. You need to understand the business model and thought processes of the service you're using.
