Resonance
I threw away the TV ten years ago. This year I've turned off AM radio entirely. Even the one or two formerly 'clean' programs have been fully infected by the Inquisition. I still use FM sometimes, solely for the automatic hot and cold running classical Muzak provided by Gonzaga. Once an hour they broadcast a demonic message from the CDC inquisitors, but I can always run to the radio in time to switch off before hearing it. Self-imposed quarantine from DEMONIC INPUT is crucial in times when demons are in charge of nearly everything.
This morning the Muzak was featuring an unfamiliar piece. It sounded vaguely Brahmsian and vaguely British. I enjoyed it tremendously, and listened for the identification at the end.
It's the overture to 'The Wreckers', a British opera about fake beacons.
Aaaah.
Synchronizations and resonances are a good sign. One DNA gene creates the same purpose in many different animals and plants, and one conceptual gene creates the same purpose in many pieces of art and music. A purpose, whether good or bad, can always be recognized under various cultural and physical guises.
