Where are the lawyers?
Most of our recent moral panics were spread by lawyers, not by governments. Most of the suicidal restrictions on everyday life came from fear of lawsuits, not from government regulation.

Religion in school, asbestos, "endangered species", trace elements of plastic, "cancer-causing baby powder", and a million others. In each case the Witch Substance is removed, leaving us less free and MORE ENDANGERED.

The current panication breaks the pattern. Lawyers have been blindsided just as Deepstate has been blindsided.

A few lawyers are filing meaningless lawsuits against the lockdowns, which are intentionally guaranteed to fail. One such lawsuit "won" a temporary injunction allowing THE PLAINTIFF HIMSELF to be free from lockdown. This isn't a decision, it's just a cruel prank. April Fool. Doesn't help anyone except the lawyer.**

The big "pro-freedom" lawsuit factories like Institute For Justice are still grinding away on Benghazi, for fuck's sake.

But I don't see any big class-action suits to continue or expand the lockdowns. Come on, lawyers! Get busy! You've played a MAJOR role in obliterating civilization so far; we're depending on you to finish the job!

** This isn't immediately obvious until you stop and think. The Authorized Plaintiff is the only one who doesn't have to obey Social Distancing. Everyone else does. Social Distancing is Social by definition. What happens if he stands closer than the Forbidden Radius of 2.000 meters? The non-authorized person has to move away to regain the Forbidden Radius. What happens if the Authorized Plaintiff tries to enter a closed bar? What if he goes to a locked church? Nothing happens because the bars and churches are closed. He will constantly have to persuade overworked cops that he has a Special Pass to disobey the law; but he doesn't have a Special Pass to break and enter locked buildings, which are empty anyway.
