Carver works
Morning store trip restored my equipoise. Nice cold crisp weather after a couple of stormy days. Street traffic is normal and FAST, even in the neighborhood. ... which means the vast majority of people have returned to work and normal activity. Safeway is letting some of its idiotic Security Theater lapse, which was never seriously enforced anyway.
The only real problem was that I walked through a spiderweb as I left the house, and couldn't get it off without appearing to
touch my face.
Carver's recipe for science also works for sanity.
Look about you.
[Not ELSEWHERE.]
Take hold of the THINGS that are HERE.
[Including spiderwebs but excluding crazed rulers.]
Talk to them.
Let them talk to you.
The holocaust is still a holocaust, but destroying my own soul and body won't do any good at all, won't help to slow down Thrill Killer Inslee. Only one thing stops a Thrill Killer. All we can do is pray.
