Godelizer?
When I "build" my models of old tech, I spend a lot of time looking at patent drawings and descriptions. Some of the sketches and descriptions are hard to decipher because the device is irreducibly complex and undisassemblable. The draftsman showed the sections or modules, but each section was hard to understand without thinking of the entire machine.
Convective and stupid question: Was there ever an invention that was
intrinsically impossible to describe or draw? A device that would instantly destroy any drawing made of it, or instantly delete and burn any description? A self-secretizer?
Immediate answer: Consciousness.
But aside from that, is there a device
invented by humans that functions per the metadescription?
