Constants and Variables 137, purpose vs paycheck edition
O'Sullivan's Law in original form:
All political and cultural organizations will eventually converge to the left unless they are specifically designed to remain on the right.
Not an exact quote, but what he meant.
The effect has grown much stronger since he wrote it. Design and intention no longer matter; and the terms 'right' and 'left' lost their meaning a long time ago. The only directions that matter now are globalist vs localist.
Current version:
All PAID political and cultural organizations converge toward globalism.
Design and intention are irrelevant. The only thing that counts is PAYMENT. Any writer or organization PAID to express or support an opinion will end up working for the bankers.
I'm noticing two immediate examples: Turley and TAC.
Turley is an academic observer of nationalist trends, a rare "social" "scientist" who uses the jargon and methods objectively. About a month ago his Youtube channel started to feature commercials for companies other than his own books. About a month ago Turley stopped being a source for objective info, and became a standard Repooflican. Now he celebrates Trump because Trump raises share value. Infinite Dow and ZERO TAX. The exact opposite of populism.
TAC has gone through the convergence process several times, first as a paper magazine and then as a website. The latest convergence was channeled through a Soros project called the Quincy Institute, designed to shape the opinions of populists and non-interventionists to serve Soros. TAC is all in with Quincy, steering the movement toward the rocks. Dreher, their most prolific writer, has been on Satan's side for a long time. Now it's complete.

Putting it another way, O'Sullivan's Law is now O'Dillinger's Law.
Why do you obey banks? Because that's where the money is.
