In previous item I repeated the simple fact that the Silk Road is intended to factor the Western Hemisphere out of the world, to Ctrl-Z Columbus.

Question.

Is this good or bad for the Western Hemisphere?

Immediate answer: Bad. We depend on the rest of the world.

Second answer: Good. We were BETTER OFF when we DIDN'T depend on China and India. We were MORE PROSPEROUS AND MORE HEALTHY AND MORE SANE AND MORE ALIVE when our corporate traitor demons were OBLIGED to make things HERE. Ordinary men had decent jobs making useful things that other ordinary people could afford because they also had decent jobs.

Most of the Western Hemisphere is innately self-sufficient. Brazil has everything a country needs. Hydropower, petroleum, minerals, ALL crops and livestock. Brazil doesn't need to import anything at all, doesn't need to depend on other skills.

USA and Canada have almost everything. We only need coffee and bananas from South America, and out-of-season vegetables from Mexico. We could probably do winter vegies with greenhouses and hydroponics if necessary.

AMLO understands where the world is going. He's working hard to develop complete self-sufficiency for Mexico, and he can probably get there. His ambitious five-year plan is ALL ABOUT self-sufficiency.

USA and Canada are still suicidally stupid and crazy beyond crazy beyond crazy beyond crazy. Our infinitely traitorous satanic corporations are starting to make fake noises about bringing production home, but won't do it until they have absolutely NO CHOICE. Maybe not even then. The crack of share value and pure free "money" may be an unbreakable habit. Even now the best users of American labor are Jap and Korean companies, who copied the old NCR/Ford model, not the new Goldman model.

The best response to the Belt would be a north-south Suspenders, based on cooperation instead of Monroe Doctrine regime change. FDR made a start on this project with his Good Neighbor Policy, but like all other good things this project ended when FDR died and Deepstate resumed its old Monrovian ways.



Question: How much of the suspenders currently exists? ZERO. There is a Pan-american Highway, but it breaks south of the Panama Canal. The only railroad in Panama runs along the canal. So there's NO VERTICAL CONNECTION AT ALL. Our attention and our commerce have always been STRICTLY HORIZONTAL.
