Switzerland has always been sane. Part of sanity is STORAGE, and the Swiss are fanatical about storage. Storage is self-defense, just as a gun in every house is self-defense.
Now the idiot Swiss government is abandoning sanity and moving toward the Just-In-Time attitude, which is another name for Helpless-And-Vulnerable.
The Swiss idiot government is trying to remove a stockpile of coffee which began in the '30s. It's an especially stupid decision because the companies that import coffee are responsible for maintaining the storage, at no cost to the government. The importers are happy to continue because they're NOT stupid. Maintaining an inventory is NORMAL and SMART business practice with a commodity that is vulnerable to weather and wars.
The idiot government says coffee is "not necessary for human survival."
