McAfee's hate hoax
McAfee claims that his enemies have poisoned him, and shows dramatic pictures of himself all tubed up in a hospital bed.
1. If real gang-style enemies want to kill you, they kill you. Bang. You're dead. Job done.
2. McAfee has more than enough money and tech savvy to set up a scene like this.
Conclusion: This is a hate hoax, similar to the "nooses" and "graffiti" planted by publicity-seeking "victims" with Die-Verse ethnicities and gendricities.
Unlike the usual "nooses" and "graffiti", this is a highly sophisticated hate hoax, on the same level as the Skripal hoax. In fact it's a copy of the Skripal hoax.
Poisoning is easy to fake because it doesn't show physical alterations. You don't need special makeup or camera tricks; you just act unconscious or drunk, as the Skripals did.
Come on, Mac. Be original. If you want to hold onto your Most Interesting Man In The World persona, you've got to outfake the drab trite bureaucrats of MI6.

Later, cui bono? Maybe this: McAfee made a solemn bet that he would eat his dick if Bitcoin didn't reach 1 million by the end of 2020. Now that the Bitcoin fraud is clearly deflating, he needs to prevent the decision point on the bet. So his "doctors" will "order" a strict vegan diet to "recover" from the "poison". Gluten-free, GMO-free, meat-free, dick-free.
