Radar trying new metaphor
Radar is tired of "raining cats and dogs", and wants us to say "raining Italy and Greece" from now on.
A Euroshaped storm is unusual. More often the storms closely resemble the east part of Asia, which makes more sense. That's where they formed, so the variations caused by Asian coastlines traveled eastward in parallel.
