I wonder
ZH mentions that Musk has used his wi-fi Master Of The Universe rig to alter the battery software on Teslas escaping Florida, so they can go farther between charges.
Hmm. I wonder why he didn't do this for Houston?
Everybody bashes Henry Ford for his ethnic preferences, but Henry didn't sabotage the cars he sold to the group he disliked. He sold the same T to everyone.
A more precise comparison: VW suffered the same bashing for the same association. Early bugs had a 'reserve tank' instead of a gas gauge. Like Elon's 'reserve battery', the 'reserve tank' was really a pipe with two holes. Normally the upper hole, two inches off the bottom of the tank, was open. When you heard the car stalling, you turned the handle and 'switched to reserve', which really opened a lower hole on the same pipe. If VW had followed Elon's model, the bugs sold to the Incorrect ethnic group would have only the top hole. But VW didn't follow Elon. It sold the same shitty car to everyone.
In short: Henry and Ferdinand and Elon all founded auto companies. Henry and Ferdinand DID NOT use their cars to favor their own tribe. Elon DOES use his cars to favor his own tribe.
In even shorter: Henry and Ferdinand were not bigots. Elon is a bigot.
