Random thought about clothing
How does a dryer turn a T-shirt inside out? It's not an easy or accidental task. You have to get a grip on the collar from inside, then use inertia or the other hand to pull the collar through; then push the sleeves out. The sleeves tend to flop out from shaking, so that's not the puzzling part.
It would be interesting to run an experiment. You'd need a commercial dryer with lots of space, and you'd need a normal bunch of clothes around the subject T-shirt. The other clothes would need to be transparent (fiberglass?) so the subject could be seen clearly at every tumble.
