Return of the Shared Lie
We're back in the land of Shared Lies again. For the last 8 years we had a constant pattern. Both "sides" told the same lie, which was transparently false and instantly disprovable. R blamed D for the "fact", and D blamed R for the "fact". Or if they couldn't find a way to place blame, one side considered the "fact" good and the other side called it bad.
During the campaign we had a brief break from Shared Lies. On some occasions Trump broke the game by telling the simple truth. Most dramatically on war issues. He stated the REAL FACT that 9/11 happened because Bush The Son allowed it to happen. Both sides screamed at him.
Now we're back. Somebody claimed that a chemical attack happened in Syria, and both sides agree that Assad did it. Trump blames Obama for "weakness", and D blames Trump for supporting Putin.
When a similar claim was made two years ago, the lie ultimately dissolved. The claim turned out to be dubious at best; the only supply of chemical weapons was in the hands of our ISIS agents, not Assad.
I was hoping for better from Trump, who had previously broken the game.
If there was actually a use of chemical weapons, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO DID IT. The simple FACT is that WE STARTED THIS WAR. Israel ordered it, Hillary provided it. After a war is started, all sorts of atrocities will occur on all sides because it's a war. THIS WAR WAS COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. I suppose you could blame Obama's "weakness", but only because he didn't have the guts to stop Hillary's endless slaughter of every country that displeased Bibi, which was a direct continuation of Bush's endless slaughter of every country that displeased Bibi.
