PAY ATTENTION
Heard in a radio PSA just now: "Throwing salt over your shoulder is a common superstition to prevent bad luck."
No it's not. Nobody does it. Nobody talks about it or thinks about it. Throwing salt was common in the time of Jesus.
What was the PSA about? Dunno. I stopped listening after hearing nonsense.
If you want people to hear your PSAs or your fake news, you need to PAY ATTENTION TO REALITY. Get out of your media bubble and OBSERVE ACTUAL HUMANS doing things. When you claim that people "commonly" do X or Y, STOP AND THINK. Have you ever done X or Y? Have you ever seen or heard anyone doing X or Y?
Most likely you are just copy-pasting a standard Insatiable bigoted bias about the horrible lives of Deplorables.
