Genuinely confusing
Internal evidence that Trump is just a head-fake. He will serve the Tribe loyally for four years while the Tribe slaughters the Deplorables attracted to Trump's fake magnetic field.
BUT! Lots of external evidence points the other way. Trustworthy and serious foreign leaders like Orban and Putin have expressed a clear preference for Trump. Those leaders are convinced that Trump would be less belligerent than Hillary.
Currency and stock markets seem to be convinced that Trump would make a real difference in trade policy. Those markets are unhappy about the prospect, which means Trump would be good for American workers.
