Fully natural and organic
"Local" news has a feature on a local girl who is taking part in the Dakota pipeline protests.
Nice to see a totally natural and organic protester. Let's analyze her natural and organic look.
Green hair dye:
Hair dye is based on ammonia and hydrogen peroxide.
Ammonia is typically refined from natural gas.
H2O2 is synthesized via a wildly complex refining process, starting ultimately from coal.
Her artistically applied eyeliner is based on petroleum jelly and polyethylene glycol.
Her cellphone was built in China by slave labor, operating under no environmental laws, using plenty of plastic.
I can't identify the material of the jacket. We'll assume it's part cotton, which is actually natural in the usual sense of the word. It was made in China by slave labor, probably using cotton shipped from America. At least two sea voyages powered by bunker fuel. If it's not part cotton, it's all petroleum.
Yes, fully natural and organic. (Both adjectives are strictly true by the dictionary, since petroleum is both natural and organic by definition... but that's not what Sorosians mean by the adjectives.)
