Mouse
Just now heard the unmistakable snap of a mousetrap. Sure enough, killed a mouse.
That's ODD. This isn't mouse season. I hadn't heard or seen any of the usual mouse indications since last October when the weather started to turn cold. At that time I caught one mouse, then used the Shake-Away stuff around the foundation. No more mice through the winter.
The weather is ordinary this week; nothing seems likely to drive mice inside. Maybe last week's heavy rain flooded their outdoor nests?
