Atrocious dyslogic
"Governor" Haley of SC says that she isn't going to sign a law to protect butchers, bakers and candlestick-makers from tyranny because she "hasn't heard of anyone's religious liberty being violated."
Vicious and sneaky. There's plenty of violation happening in OTHER states. Waiting until something happens in her state means that the law WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE when the violation happens.
When you know tyrants are on the move, you need to act in advance to halt them. Otherwise your law will be ex post facto (retroactive) and won't be usable.
If we were talking about a purely imaginary threat, Haley's comment would be valid. No need to enact a law against Martians x56ni-7ing the @$r69ahj because that's not happening and probably won't happen. (Things are so hyperloony now that I can't go beyond
probably. All options are on the table now.)
But we're not talking about Martians. We're talking about a super-rich super-powerful movement backed by trillions and tanks, which is determined to obliterate Christianity and Islam, and already has a million notches on its gun.
