Coulda hada C8
Been noticing this for a long time, finally pinned it down. When a Commie speaker makes an Officially Approved Point to a young audience, the young audience responds with an EEEEE sound
on a specific and predictable note. It's always the same main note, with enough mixing of a semitone down to provide the necessary dissonance and beats for salience.
To my ears the main and beat notes are C8 and B8 in piano terms. The EEEE goes on for several seconds in the actual performance. The Officially Approved Points as heard on Officially Approved Media typically let us hear a half second of the EEEEE, to certify that the Point is Officially Approved. Sort of like the audio version of a notary seal.
Mixing those two pure tones for about two seconds:
Here.
My elderly tinnitized ears are probably wrong about the note, but not wrong about the constancy and predictability.
