What happened to What When Where Who Why How?
Excellent example of atrocious journalism on a subject that isn't especially political. No need to protect Our Prophet Obama's Holy Ass on this story. Just pure laziness.
Noticed this story about an actor named Randy Quaid getting detained while trying to re-enter USA STRONG from Canada. The name sounded vaguely familiar, but the event smelled like Inquisition so I googled more.
All of the items mention a trespassing incident where Quaid and wife were trying to stay in a residence that someone had already bought from them. NONE of the stories go beyond this. Zero real information.
What's going on here? Is the trespassing charge the usual FBI blackmail pivot? Or is this just a classic Hollywood riches to rags? Big income, bigger spending, biggest bankruptcy?
Neither. Finally found a little more in a Wiki biography but still not the full story. In 2007 Quaid and his wife suddenly switched careers from acting to professional crime. Lots of hardass burglaries and frauds. Serious stuff. He tried to continue acting, but other actors chased him out because his personality had gone entirely violent.
Obvious explanation is drugs. An emotional breakdown or stroke wouldn't bring the wife along in the career change. Drugs would. The Wiki page vaguely alludes to drugs.
