Two wrong approaches
A satan posing subversively as a "Baptist" rolls out the snark carpet to stretch a valid point into nonsense:

More Christians should refrain from providing services. Every Christian has a responsibility to follow biblical laws even when it makes no sense. More Christians could be on the front page if they took the rules as seriously as Kim does. Here are stories for which we should not have to wait:

Christian bakers — some of whom already refuse to make cakes for gay couples — should refuse to make cakes for fat people: “The glutton shall come to poverty” (Proverbs 23:21).

He then lists a bunch more refusals along the same line.

Another approach is less snarky but equally wrong, treating Kim Davis as a 'conscientious objector'. Nope, doesn't work. CO is a narrow category, functioning ONLY in situations where citizens are FORCED to do immoral things. In earlier times the gov't made special provisions for coooooooooool religions like Quakers to serve as medics or do war factory work instead of pulling triggers.

You couldn't allow the draft to take you, then later claim that your moral code had changed to prohibit killing. Now we ONLY recognize change. If your moral code forbids all killing, you're not allowed to stay in the Army and refuse to shoot. Davis is trying to do something like that, except that she wasn't DRAFTED into the job of county clerk so she's not a CO. She chose to do the job and went to the trouble of running for election to get the job. Now that the job has changed, it's no longer the job she chose to do. The only moral choice is to quit, requiring Satan to locate new targets. Staying in the job makes Satan's work entirely too easy. She is now a fully ranged and located target. (Alinsky. If we're going to talk about Natural Law, we need to consider three separate types of human employment as understood by Natural Law.

(1) Serf
(2) Government official
(3) Independent artisan or trader

Natural law, in Deuteronomy or in the Koran, specifies the duties and limits of each category.

Serfs are required to obey their master or employer. If they can't, tough shit.

Government officials are required to operate within the chain of authority. If they can't, they should quit.

Independent artisans CAN refuse service for moral reasons ... or ANY reason. Economics tends to steer an artisan away from really stupid or broad refusals. Muslim artisans (eg cab drivers) do in fact refuse service in many of the ways listed by the above satan, and they seem to get along well enough. For some reason the current USA STRONG gov't isn't interested in persecuting them. Maybe its taste for Muslim blood is fully satisfied by killing millions of Muslims in Iraq and Syria, while its thirst for Christian blood is still unsatisfied.

The nastiest filthiest evilest part of the current tyranny is its lethal and speedy elimination of the ENTIRE artisan category. This genocide has two flanks. Most obviously, butchers and bakers and candlestick-makers are jailed and bankrupted for following static Natural Law. More subtly but more importantly in the end, ALL artisan positions are being outsourced to foreigners or machines.

The sharia version of Natural Law includes specific balancing obligations, which are not clear or explicit in Leviticus. Owned people (employees, wives, children) must obey, but owners (employers, husbands, parents) must restrain their impulses so obedience is not immoral. Government officials must stay in the chain, but the top officials must never issue immoral orders.
