Two weird notions
In the news today, two WEIRD notions about what ISIS is doing.

(1) The alleged "government" of USA STRONG is investigating the fact that ISIS likes Toyota trucks. I have no fucking idea what they hope to prove by this. Someone apparently thinks it's an effective blackmail against Toyota, now that EPA has run its successful blackmail against VW. Normal bureaucratic competition.

Anyone in the fucking world can answer the question without one second of investigation.

ISIS uses Toyota because Toyota is the best.

ISIS doesn't have to satisfy Die-Versity quotas; it doesn't have to pick suppliers to please a Congressman who can cut its appropriations. It simply wants vehicles that start every time and run perfectly under all possible and impossible circumstances. It wants PERFECTION. In one word, Toyota.

You should be investigating everyone who DOESN'T drive a Toyota, because that's the choice that requires explanation. For instance, I've never owned a Toyota even though I deeply and instantly grasped their absolute Platonic perfection the first time I drove one in 1974. Why? Because Japs attacked us in 1941. (Krauts are equally hatable but they didn't attack us.) That's an emotional reason, a prejudice, which has nothing to do with Toyotas as such.

(2) This one is especially frustrating because it starts from a halfway correct premise, then runs wildly off the tracks.

“Fatherlessness is the leading global indicator of poverty and crime. Child abuse and human trafficking are ‘man’ issues. When we lower the demand, we stop the problems,” states Cole. “You can draw great crowds with great speeches, but you’ll never change a nation until you mentor a man.”

Partly right as diagnosis. All wrong as prescription.

You're not going to fix anything with stricter standards if men can't find jobs appropriate for men. Leadership coaching? Mentoring? Raw ratshit.

This is like saying "The deer are coming into town to eat our gardens because the standards for deer behavior have been lowered." No, asshole. The deer are coming into town because drought has damaged their preferred feeding grounds.

Men WANT to be providers and protectors. Current conditions in EU/US/UK make these desires impossible for all but the richest and most privileged.

Cure? Not standards, not "leadership", whatever the fuck that means. Eliminate all environmental laws and Die-Versity laws and execute all the monsters who have been terrorizing the world with those laws. Return divorce and "rape" laws to their proper and civilized condition as of 50 years ago. Bring back strong tariffs on imports. Build walls at the borders, halt ALL immigration. Destroy and confiscate the stock market and all of its evil outgrowths. Destroy and execute all Central Banks and Central Bankers. Require investment ONLY for productive purposes.

Simple way of describing it: Rewind EVERY ASPECT of the Federal government to 1936 and shoot anyone who resists.

Until you do those things, no amount of "leadership coaching" will make the slightest difference.

ISIS is attracting both men and women because it represents civilization. If you want to see it in religious terms, ISIS is simply the Hand Of God. All through the Old Testament God prescribes a cure for cultures like ours that refuse to restore civilization internally. ISIS.

Later: AS FUCKING ALWAYS, Satan should have been investigating Satan instead of investigating Toyota. ISIS got its HiLuxes from us, which is no fucking surprise since ISIS is us. The only real question, AS FUCKING ALWAYS, is why USA STRONG even bothers to play these games. The government obviously knew what happened. Toyota knew what happened. ISIS knew what happened. Even so, some bureaucrat thought she could make a point by starting an "investigation" that would quickly be dropped after the truth popped out.
