Learning
Well, if nothing else, those
charter-school kids are learning an extremely valuable lesson.
Law does not exist. Rules do not exist. Civic structures are fiction. Only brute force exists. If you are on the Correct Side of brute force, you get what you want. If you are not on the Correct Side, you get dead.
In this case the Correct Side is the Union Thug Side.
Union Thug teachers are free to strike, even though strikes are nominally "illegal" according to the fictions written under the obsolete title of "laws". Non-union schools are not free to operate, even though the referendum that created them was nominally "legal" according to the fictions written under the obsolete title of "laws".
Union Thug says strikes are legal. Therefore strikes are legal.
Union Thug says charters are illegal. Therefore charters are illegal.
Will the alleged "legislature" do anything to fix the situation? No. I don't need to guess.
But again I have to give kudos to the local media for covering this fairly and evenly. Normally the media follow Correct Line.
