What's with all the choppers?
A whole lot of small planes and helicopters buzzing around this morning. This activity would have made sense in the previous few days with dozens of fires being started by idiot fuckheads, but I didn't hear any planes during that period. This morning, after 10 hours of BEAUTIFUL steady light rain, no new fires can possibly start. So the planes aren't looking for fires. Folks on the Spokane-News page are also noticing the activity.
